I said I was going to fill up my sewing basket slowly, who was I kidding…….
I can’t stop slow stitching and used some real folklore fabrics from my own province Friesland in the Netherlands.

Hello Maud, my name is Judy and I live in Brisbane, Australia. I am 78years and not so well. I love your little needle case. I have made several cases and I embroidered them on the front. I only have one left because I sold them. At the moment I'm interested in slow-stitching. I love to watch other people sewing by hand. My mother was a dressmaker. She started a business when she was young, sewing baby clothes. Your craft room is amazing. You are so tidy. You are very talented. The fairies are lovely. I wrote a Christmas story which has some fairies and Angels in it. I wish you well. Stay safe.

Hello from Canada. I sewed a few needle cases using thrifted scraps. Like your repurpose of old worn out blanket, color too. A shame the top woman figure got covered by a closure. I kept thinking from the start it should be moved to prevent that. But live and learn. Keep stitching!

Maud this video is simply wonderful. It gave me such joy to watch you make your tiny needle book. The slow stitching for me was a therapeutic memory of years past, stitching embroidery pieces. The sewing basket that you are refurbishing is a perfect size for your travels. I sense, as you do, a need to get out into the world to connect our hearts with natural elements once again. Make whatever videos bring you joy. I watch them for much more than journaling techniques. You instill peace and happiness in my soul. Wow Maud you did all off this slow stitching and I loved to watch it…my fingers are itching to make myself a needle book, I also loved the felt one you made in another tutorial. I surely don’t mind you cutting up that little embroidery work I gave you, I am very honored you used her and take her with you in your camper van. You used it very well and I am glad it inspired you to make this wonderful needle book.
I also loved to see what you bought by Hema, didn’t know they had embroidery needles. I bought two new embroidery die sets at the Action yesterday realy cute so I will get that needle set too….not that I haven’t any needles😚 but always nice to have more😂

Put a lovely little needle. I made one for myself a while back mines made with a little square of quilted material where I was practicing quilting on the machine and it didn't go too hot. And then my pages are two pieces of cotton sewing together by machine with a pretty Stitch around the edge and a pretty ribbon two times shut and I also put a pocket on the inside covers. It is very handy. I had another half of that square of quilted fabric so I have made my daughter one also

This little needle book is perfect. My mother's favorite color was blue and some of your fabric reminded me of one of her shirts.....think I will make a blue book too. I have been working on a fabric cover for a huge journal for myself, I used some fabric that belonged to my mom, she was an amazing seamstress.
