I really like how that sword turned out. Just a for fun idea but with The Boys season 3 wrapping up, can you please make the shield that Soldier Boy uses.
I think Odin is so good at video making because he entices the watcher with his ideas and process of making props, but he can also simply help you get to sleep with his voice lmao. Also that paper trick for Gorr's blade was dope! I never thought about that!
It would be a crazy challenge, but how cool would it be to make a version of Mjölnir that is broken but can "re-assemble" itself! If there was a way to do it with fishing line it would look invisible and really have people in awe! But, again, definitely a big undertaking!
Hey Odin ! I'm about to get into LARP and since you do a lot of very stylish foam sword, have you ever thought about doing more LARP oriented builds, such as "how to strengthen your foam weapons for LARP" or show how to apply latex and so on. Anyway, thanks for all your builds, it'll surely help me ! See ya.
He had a friend that he did a few videos with about LARP boffer weapons but didn't continue on because the friend passed away. might be able to find them if you search the channel
@@ian0921 I know, those were quality tutorials. But these weapons were specifically designed for fighting, without the "fashion" factor. Here, I'm more talking about weapons both fashion (the way Odin does it regularly) and sturdy, such as the weapons you can find on sale on specific sites.
So for what I've been seeing, it's that the best way for that would be layers of plastidip. I follow a few channels that state this. That and 10mm cell foam and a strong core
Love it! Now my wife is probably going to have strong words for you because I'm going to need to buy a hand-held belt sander. I'm telling her it's all your fault. Thanks, Odin! You rock!!!
Odin, i think if you where to develop a mutant power it would be to turn your self into foam. Not the most powerful ability I know, but you could jump off high stuff and be fine. You'd never have to wear a seat belt... ever!
Hey Odin love your videos and I use quite a bit of what you show in making LARP weapons and gear (the fact that you primarily use foam makes this really easy), One thing I have do change up is that I use Driveway stakes instead of carbon fibre golf clubs merely because you can get different lengths and sizes and they are cheaper and durable enough to use as cores.
i dont know how it took me this long to figure out you made my favorite weapon from all of marvel creation though its not my favorite version compared to the original but it still looks great and you did fantastic!
I have been watching since the AWE ME days, and congratulations on how far your channel has come. Appreciate all your videos and seeing how Odin makes. 👏👏👏
That was Ezra's lightsaber wasn't it? Kanan kept his lightsaber in pieces and screwed it together before a fight. I haven't seen Rebels though, so it could've originally been Kanan's
I love the sword build i build one two and I like yours better great job but can you make a the walking dead commonwealth rifle and make commonwealth armor too i will be so surprised if you do it
I really feel like you need to make a jig of some kind that has an adjustable angle and can be used on your band saw as well as your disc/belt sander. It is pretty much impossible to get a dead straight edge by hand with a hand sander or dremel and I find that variance very noticeable sometimes. For me it's very noticeable on swords especially and I could overlook it if the entire piece was homemade and janky, but with so much accuracy and attention to detail on your work it stands out much more.
Great design for the Necrosword, it's a simple design, but that's why I like it: any other artist would have given it a design that looks creepy or wacky; but no, they gave the sword a simple design, as if to say that for something to be powerful, it doesn't need to look powerful. For your next proyect, can you make Ammit's axe or the crescent darts from Moon Knight?
Hey Odin, I'm trying to make a sword for a Witcher cosplay and I've modeled it after one of the dwarf swords from Lord of the rings, would a graphite rod be enough to keep it straight? Also is it possible to make a sheath for a foam sword?
I can answer both of these, yes a graphite rod is plenty, a dowel would work but uts not nearly as strong, ideal is a fiberglass yard marker, and yes you certainly can make a sheath for that sword, you can watch either living anachronism or epic fantasy for tutorials on that, whether you want a foam or leather piece, you could also switch out the cardboard for a 4 to 6 mm eva foam, and skip the layering step, I'll be doing this for my own sword
So Shop Gremlin is the Teller to your Penn? Also - please make the Gil Hibben/Kit Rae Jackal from "Buffy: the Vampire Slayer" and "Star Trek: Nemesis."
I really love your channel, but you have so many unique or expensive tools that sometimes the builds are really hard to follow. I'd like to see some "average joe" type substitutions suggestions as you go along!
Watch some of his older stuff, he used to be great for cheap home made builds with basic tools, you can apply a lot of the techniques to his new stuff too
@@callymac97 Oh for sure his older videos are more accessible, but sometimes he just whips out a tool or technique that I have no idea how to replicate at home. I'd love it if sometimes he'd give a tip that said "hey if you don't have this at home use this instead."
I saw Love and Thunder last night, no spoilers: I really enjoyed it, I’ve been hearing very mixed opinions of it, but I thought it was great, very funny. I think it deserves better, I can kinda see other’s opinions about too much comedy, but I thought it was balanced by Christian Bales’s chilling performance as Gorr
I am launching my own website today! www.OdinMakes.com
😀👍
Awesome for sure gonna check it out Mr.Odin 😎💚🎊🎉
Fantastic and all the best xx
Sweeeeeet!
Can you make a mega man blaster
My favorite part of Love and Thunder was when Gorr started explaining to Thor why he likes Huey Lewis and the News so much
And that song that was their best 'Hip to Be Square' and he was also wearing a rain coat even though it don't rain in the Shadow Realm
Spoilers sir
Did he sweat over a business card?
Bruh he was listening to the Power of Love when he was decimating Pip
@@ehmwhy that subtle off white color….
I really like how that sword turned out. Just a for fun idea but with The Boys season 3 wrapping up, can you please make the shield that Soldier Boy uses.
I love hearing Odin laugh with his mask on when the foam fits perfectly.
Sounds like Darth Vader just got told a cracker.
11:11 the joy of something you created coming together.
15:13 hey! That’s me! I would absolutely love to see Hellboy’s Excalibur from the comics. Great build!
00:38 "fart four standalone movie" lol
Just love when a thumbnail pops up and say Odin 🥰
"Ew I touch it" 🤣 Sooo cute haha, man been subscribed to this channel for 6 years and I never heard that one.
I think Odin is so good at video making because he entices the watcher with his ideas and process of making props, but he can also simply help you get to sleep with his voice lmao.
Also that paper trick for Gorr's blade was dope! I never thought about that!
Wow never knew about that windex trick for paint/airbrushing
What does it do?
Nice trick with the hand held knife sharpener
"Eww I touched it" I dont know why but the way he said that had me rolling lmao
me too!
It would be a crazy challenge, but how cool would it be to make a version of Mjölnir that is broken but can "re-assemble" itself! If there was a way to do it with fishing line it would look invisible and really have people in awe! But, again, definitely a big undertaking!
They forgot to plug Odin back in at the end of the video so his battery died 🪫
one of the best props you've ever made
I'm REALLY looking forward to this one.
PLEASE make more Doom props! I would love to see the Gause Cannon, the Mini Gun, or the BFG from Doom 2016.
Great work. The evil maniacal laughter at the 1m 11s mark was worth the entry fee alone.
Hail Odin!

Awesome build and beautiful result.
Again another cool build
You mentioned Loki. I am a HUGE LOKI FAN! don't tell my friend I want to keep it low key
You're so good! Love it
You know, for a movie weapon that's actually very well proportioned
Definitely using this for trunks sword DB SUPER TRUNKS COSPLAY SOON😄
WOW...I LOVE IT.
Sword came out great, the battle damage looks awesome! 👍👊
Shop Gremlin called Joe?
Speaking about swords, maybe something from the Devil May Cry franchise? Alastor, Devil Sword Dante, Sparda or Rebellion; all would make a great prop
The sword is amazing and I saw the movie last night for the London premiere and you will fully enjoy the movie mate.
If you like thor as a joke and having your brained turned off then sure!
The Necrosword looks cool
Haven't seen the movie either, but I ADORE the look all-black in the movie
that handheld belt sander is ELITE, you hear me?
Absolutely amazing
That sword is so clean and straight it's almost discouraging haha xD amazing
Odin you should make the version of Excalibur from One Upon A Time
i would love to see you make mʔ the scythe from buffy the vampire slayer
I might use a similar method if I make this out of wood. I got other swords to do too and this is a cool method of craft
Odin, i think if you where to develop a mutant power it would be to turn your self into foam. Not the most powerful ability I know, but you could jump off high stuff and be fine. You'd never have to wear a seat belt... ever!
How dense?
The Summer of Swords begins?
So it would seem
Will you make the template available?

Hello there Odin could you possibly make some Batarang’s from any of the Batman’s please.
Thor's got a fourth movie! You must be such a proud dad.
4:56 i laughed so hard
This prop came out really badass! I'd love to see how you'd make a sword from any of the Devil May Cry games someday
At 3:11, what kind of vacuum cleaner and head attachment do you get that can clean up foam dust that well?
Hello Odin, I just wanted to say that they actual name is Gorr the God Butcher and the name of the sword is all black the necrosword.
This is so cool
OMG I am so glad you actually made this I was waiting for this and can you please make the zeus lightning bolt weapon
i dont know how it took me this long to figure out you made my favorite weapon from all of marvel creation though its not my favorite version compared to the original but it still looks great and you did fantastic!
You should Arnie's Conan's Sword, in homage of appearing in stranger things S4!
0:42 Odin proud of he's son
I have been watching since the AWE ME days, and congratulations on how far your channel has come. Appreciate all your videos and seeing how Odin makes.
👏👏👏
Do the Highlander katana sword! The dragon hilt on that would be interesting.
I have another challenge for you. Could you do the alien head shield from AVP?
ficou igualzinha mano 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 . A lendária Necro Espada 🗡️
Loved this ep!!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🤟⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Kanan Jarrus's lightsaber-blaster from Star Wars: Rebels would be a fun project.

@@thedorkknight5772 U are right, Ezra created and used it
PLEASE MAKE EXCALIBUR FROM HELLBOY!!!! THAT WOULD BE EPIC!! I’VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR YOU TO MAKE MORE HELLBOY PROPS!!!!!
Love your work! I'd love to see you make the infinity stones briefcase from the end of Endgame. (Infinity stones must light up) pleeeease.
gained a new sub for this one!
I have a sword making idea. What about making Peacemakers sword and axe?
I loved it, awesome
Hey Odin 👋, very cool sword replica. 😎
Next you should create Zeus is thunderbolt from Thor love and thunder
Odin building the weapon for his sons villain
What tool is that scissor-thing you use to make the notch for the tip of the blade? Been looking for something like that for ages!
I'd love to see you have a go at making the Crystallic fuel cell from "Lightyear" Next.
I'm for sure sliding for that at the next Stockton Con lol😎
wow you look great the necrosword of gorr. I would like you to make Zeus' lightning bolt from Thor love and thunder. Regards.
I’m surprised it was this first and not Zeus’ lightning bolt 😂😂
I love the sword build i build one two and I like yours better great job but can you make a the walking dead commonwealth rifle and make commonwealth armor too i will be so surprised if you do it

"Ew, I touched it."-- every propmaker ever
Can you make a mudokken from the oddworld games ?
Why Hannibal ? because Sony owns Venom and all of that, so they had to change it slightly.
thank u

Now THAT'S a Necrosword... and yeah, Gorr's "Red Baron" isn't "God-Killer," it's "God-Butcher."
After watching the movie, no spoiler, the sword in the movie is much longer in comparison but still I think Odin's sword looks really good
would love to see how you would make the sword and sheath that trunks has in dragon ball z!
Can you build the broken war or the war from warframe?
Will you release patterns for this design?
Oh... And tell Shop Gremlin I said "Hi".
I see you have upgraded your laser cutters base. What did you use? Have the same cutter and would like a better base too.
