Fisher F-PULSE Video Manual Waterproof Design

The F-PULSE is waterproof to a depth of 6 feet for 1 hour.
The rubber O-ring around the battery cap is vital to maintaining a waterproof seal.
You must periodically apply a silicon spray lubricant
to the o-ring to maintain a watertight seal.
Check the O-ring.
Make sure there is no debris on the O-ring or in the battery
cap threads.
The F-PULSE has a waterproof membrane that lets sound out. It is located inside a cavity under the vent next to the battery cap.
After it is immersed in water, the cavity fills with water. When on the surface, water will drain out of the vent. You may want to shake the water out.
The pinpointer may exhibit a muffled sound while the waterproof membrane is wet. Shake out the water and let membrane dry; sound will return to normal.

Hello.
During some test I have observed that on sides area between 1 - 2 inch scale the detection of a coin drastically reduces and increase again after by double from 2 - 4 inches scale. On tip from 0-1 inch area is same big distance almost twice compared to area between 1-2 inch.
Are they designed like this or mine could have a problem and need to be sent for check? Thanks.

The F75LTD is the best detector i have ever used but it would be so nice to see something new from the First Texas Products Company. In 2019 i heared from someone of the company that where working on something completely new but thats 3 years ago and nothing happened. Also i heared something of new Coils for the F75 and T2 ? Do you have some leaks or news?

The new coil 12coildd is out for f75 and many others. It's lighter than stock and really deep.

@@danieldaniels4168 from any fisher or teknetics dealer. Tell them you want the 12coildd. It's a monster. True depth gain and still plays well in moderate iron.
