The only players that are averaging double doubles with assists are Harden, Westbrook, and John Wall. Yet, nobody acknowledges his success, even though Wizards have 6th best record in whole NBA. Wall is not the most underrated of all time. He’s been in 4 all star games and conference semifinals, most underrated player of all time is Isaiah Thomas. Dude averaged 20 ppg in his rookie season and was dropped, picked up to be a bench player on a non playoff team before finally given a chance with the Celtics (where he was on the bench in the beginning) and averaged 30 a game, one of the best in Celtics franchise history. All that just to get traded along with 50 other assets for Kyrie Irving, who averaged 5 points less than him whilst being less efficient. Now tell me, would Wall ever be traded? Or even put on the bench?

Great presentation Mike. I spent a lot time following John Wall and was unable to find as much information as you did. Nicely put together!
John wall is the closest thing we've seen to MVP drose since the injury and that's facts.
John wall is speed not explosiveness ....
John Wall and Drose have almost exact same sprint times in the dash. He was about 1-2% better around the rim, but Wall is overall more effective scorer by about 2-3%, and I would say he can takeover a game, but it's not necessary when you have players who are actually helpful on court. John Wall isn't really pass first, and even if he really is, he's assisting noticeably more than rose did and only 2 points less than Rose at his peak. Also Wall's defense is really good.

Northern Lightz Rose wasn't even close to his peak. Rose was years younger than Wall and would probably have won another MVP if he didn't get injured
Ok, that doesn't matter, he got injured. Wall is still better. I don't deny how good rose was, but wall is still a great player who had been stuck on a losing team. Rose had many more options, and his injury was probably avoidable if had better landings when going up. Rose would have been a better scorer, but Wall a more complete player.

If you think kyrie or isaiah is better than him than you clearly don't know basketball. john wall has more double doubles than all the other east guards COMBINED. his defense is so good compared to there's, and he's way more athletic and a way better playmaker. he averages more assists steals and blocks than both of them, but he averages a few less because he's not selfish and gets his teammates involved and makes his teammates better...
