    I don’t see this as an attack on Logan Paul at all - more of a defence of all the wrestlers out there who don’t get the credit Logan gets because they’re training to be wrestlers - not just to wrestle a single match.
    If Vince ripped up the script for a show and booked a bunch of new matches 5 minutes before a show started, guys in the independent scene could still put on a great show. Logan Paul would be exposed because he’s not been trained to do that.
    As John says, Logan seems to have the tools to learn that but until he does, comparing him with other wrestlers is a bit pointless.

They aren’t jealous because he looks like he belongs. They’re pissed because they bust their ass traveling, working matches and crowds night in night out, house shows, tv, and ppv all year long taking time away from family etc. For a celebrity to come along and get put against main event talent without putting in any time or work. You can be trained by god but if you don’t have IT, nothing will get you what Logan has; over. That’s the only ‘skill’ required in prowrestling, not frog splashes and tope suicidas. Wrestling is a popularity contest. It always was.

    Very VERY true. Paul is a gifted athlete but he’s not a worker. He can’t do it nightly or probably even weekly. But he’s perfect for what he’s used for. Bringing in star power for big PLE’s and heavily worked ad spots.

    Nobody can because he didn't work one on one with Shawn for a month it was one day and not even a full day because they also filmed a podcast 😂 He worked with Hurricane the most

    • @SlaughterhouseJTV
      @SlaughterhouseJTV Рік тому

      No he didn’t, he worked with Gulak the most. WWE sent a damn ring to Puerti Rico and made Gulak is personal coach along with the training with Shawn Michaels that from all articles have read was more than one day along with ALSO training with Hurricane. The dude is being carried (obviously) because well…..He doesn’t know Wtf he’s doing yet. The issue these guys have is fans like CVV, maybe you idk, and everyone else tooting Paul’s horn and giving him all the credit and forgetting about how incredibly beautiful WWE has set him up. If he had went through performance center and NXT or he’ll even just NXT I don’t think we are even having this conversation

    • @AlphaProto
      @AlphaProto Рік тому +1

      Yep.
      In the old days the guys just need to know who was going over and then they took it from there. Later on in the Attitude era you hear about guys just getting bullet point spots for everything and improving. Most WWE wrestlers don't really practice matches. They do a lot of house shows with their opponent and use the stuff the fans react to most and distill that into their big match. Learning on the job.

    Wrestling is a 2 man game. It takes two to tango and creating an incredible spot let alone an incredible match requires commitment from both participants. It has certainly helped Logan’s development to say he’s worked with some incredible industry workhorses like Ricochet, a top main event level talent who’s lack of push in WWE is just incredibly disheartening, in the spot of night at last rumble, Roman, one of the best workers in the world who’s big hoss power style makes Logan’s high flying style play well against each other. As well as Rey Mysterio and the Miz both incredible wrestlers. Plus as Morrison mentioned Logan had months to rehearse singular matches, Logan is terrific in his athleticism and ability to execute but he’s also had some freakin amazing ring partners to pair him with. He has been booked incredibly well.
