David Gelles is a reporter for the Climate desk and the Corner Office columnist for the New York Times. Before joining the Times in 2013, he spent five years with the Financial Times. I wuv him! we need more like him. especially in governmental positions. we need SMART people in government. duh. should go without saying, right? LOL
Unfortunately it is become increasingly difficult to listen to your podcast due to the fact that you pepper every sentence with the word "like"
That’s your brain attaching to the least important aspects of a conversation. Change your perspective.
He talks about capitalism, and then about corporate America. Corporations are NOT part of any free market. This fool thinks that we have capitalism in America. Certainly not free markets. If he wants to call what currently exists capitalism, fine, but then he must also accept that a car theft business is capitalism. So, I guess, according to him, If I force businesses in my area to pay protection money, or risk getting a beat down, that I would be engaging in capitalism. Ok silly guy. He sounds like a socialist.
