There’s something funny about watching the dirty plates being pulled across the tables
I must be doing something wrong, I can't seem to have any of the dirty plates go across the tables.
@@davevpham so he’s using smart grabbers set to dirty plates, so they get pulled away from the table, plates are spawned at the location where the number is on big tables, you can manipulate this by picking up and placing tables again because the number will be on the last one placed
@@haydes1285 I got a response about the dirty plate spawning based on how you set them up. Thanks for the response!
@@haydes1285hello sorry to bother again, i still don get it 😂🥲 what u mean by picking up and placing again? Thank you in advance
@@poxOhShuffLeR so in the building phase between cooking phases, tables will have a number on them indicating how many people can sit at them, when you make long tables the table with the number on it is where dirty plates will spawn during the cooking phase. you can manipulate which table gets the number during the build phase as it will always be the last table to be set down, so in the build phase you pick up the table like you’re going to move it and then set it back down
I'm glad you ran a practice round . Altho you didn't notice even if your idea for auto condiments would of worked out, the dirty dishes spawn were the number representing how many can sit at the table. So you wouldn't have been able to clean the tables.
Also I was thinking you could have the dish washer load the auto plater and it could load the plate stack you would get some use out of it
I could see you being able to fully automate hot dogs on the right map layout. 2 or 4 long tables, between each set of 2 tables is conveyors reaching to the second to last table with the last conveyor pointing backwards. At the start of the day, you place ketchup and mustard on the conveyor so it reaches the end, and behind that you have hot dogs fully automated (one safety hob per two tables) so they can automatically take their food off the conveyor.
Right at the end of the tables, past the backwards-faced conveyor, you have smart grabbers auto-bussing the tables back to automated dishes using soaking sinks.
Then all you need to do is sit in one spot with an ordering terminal taking orders, ringing customers in, and optionally hitting a gas overdrive on the safety hobs to speed up cooking if needed.
This all relies on taking the left path though, to avoid needing to serve starters, sides, or dessert unless those can be automated too. With every additional item the tables and conveyors have to be longer though, unless you have the automated production lead to a line of prep stations where you dish out each order to each conveyor as needed.
Minimum table length with just ketchup is 3, with mustard is 4.
I had no idea that the Yogscast are publishing games these days, not only playing them.
They’ve come a long way since yogventures
My best guess is Skoottie watched the WR video and now has endless ideas on how to improve it.
I like the solo runs more than the co-op runs for some reason.
So please make more, or something.
i like you
@@gregtheegg7030 ok
You can use the grabber or just regular conveyer to make kind of a sushi train beside the tables, i think they automatically grab those in the conveyer, then just add a smart grabber one or two for the dirty dishes?
I think discount desk is a good investment
Stupid idea, but would it be possible to create a cycle of ketchup / mustard to serve those to all tables in regular intervalls?
I think the conveyor idea worked he jus didn’t want to sacrifice the auto cleaning of the dishes since it was his set goal from the beginning but I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m tomorrows vid he gets a table to extend the bottom to a length of three the only issue I see is how is he going to be able to place the condiments on the conveyer in the middle bc he’ll have 2 facing each other like he did plus his auto dishes so idk about that part but we’ll see tomorrow
Yes I've seen other people do it before
With 4-long tables it's absolutely doable to permanently have both condiments within reach, auto-clearing dirty dishes, and even auto-serving the hot dogs. The coffee complicates it further, though.
This was a fun one.
Why "we" if you're playing alone ? XDD
Were a team he's playing for us lol
Yeah it's him and all of us in chat eating the hotdogs
The royal 'We'
Good
Fun fact. Since plate up really only uses 2 buttons. You can almost reasonably control 2 characters with one controller.
I did it today by remapping right joystick, right shoulder button and trigger to wasd, o and p.
(And I changed interact to left trigger for player 1. It's not obvious but you can change button bindings in the menu by clicking on them.)
It's... a challenge.
hello, question, for anyone that read this, how does skoottie serve the in the triple dinner table and the plate instead of staying in the last table comes to the first and got grabbed?, how does he do that? is the order of the tables? please someone help me, what i mean is in 57:02 when he serve the hotdog
Why didn't you use the first floor protectors at the cooking station. They looked useless to me at the long tables
how exactly does the long table plates work? I can never get them to work for plate automation for the life of me, just wont ever grab dirty plates
How does he get the absolutely ginormous restaurants
Is it just me that doesn't get why the statue is better than other decoration? You can buy two diamonds for 60 bucks, so how does spending 100 for three make sense? I get that it takes less place in the restaurant, but in such a big place it doesn't really matter, does it?
Okay, huge question. We have tried auto busing tables and it fails every time. One or more tables will not have dirty plates pulled from them. Is there a certain sequence that things have to happen?
Not sure if you ever got the answer to this, but I saw on another video that the tables with the numbers on them are where the dirty dishes spawn. So you would want to line up the smart grabbers with the tables that have the numbers on them.
Giraffe 🎉
I've never seen that heart thing you have in the corner. What is it?
It's an extra life in case he messes up.
What's that gray thing in the upper left corner? The thing with the heart
Extra life
Can you make a video for using dumbwaiter
2 months late to the party and only 20 mins into the video, but you can put the condiments in a conveyor next to them and it'll count for both tables having them.
Edit: got to 45 mins and you did exactly that.
Why isn't your research desk in the bottom right? Be much faster to get to.
ho o you end up with such big maps?
How do you get all of the envelopes to spawn outside of the restaurant?
I like how someone asks this every single video.
There's an option in the settings menu to turn of them spawning inside.

Really got to work on your intro's dude, it's so awkward
?
They are?
They're not awkward at all? If you mean the "If you like the video, like the video. Enjoy the rest of the video" that's clearly on purpose.
This probably says more about you than him tbh
