I would love to see the Libertywalk Shillouette ER34 Skyline wide body kit for the R34 Skyline come to FH5

5:23 yes the mods do show up in the thumbnail to non-modded players, you can often find cars in the auction house with tire lettering that isn’t available to regular players.
Was just about to comment this. I’ve seen plenty of cars on the AH with the custom Hoosier slicks, even some with body panels deleted
Auction house thumbnails are basically a screenshot from the client, so a quick 3d model swap can do that.
New time attack car sounds nothing like the real one . Car games can’t ever get car sounds correct at all
Sometimes its nor possible to record the sounds as there so load.
All of the new racecars sound absolutely awful :(

@@MiniOne82no it’s very possible, the audio equipment to capture it clear is readily available and accessible. The developers are just lazy, another key example of this is the turbo antilag on every car sounding the same.
it is a real shame the m2 doesn't have m performance parts - it is literally a factory bodykit for the car and has appeared on the m4 and m3.
No one cares about a m2 fr there’s so many other likes cars that need fixes and upgrades compared to the least liked car in the bmw lineup

Amazing video, it was worth waiting for! Regarding that unknown wing on M2, I think somebody managed to equip a hidden wing option that is in the game files, but unavailable for players due to lack of licence or some other law related things with some external software used to modify game state data. Otherwise if it would be a mod, it couldn't be seen by other players.
The full SARD GT1 kit for the new BRZ is actually in the files of Forza Horizon 5. They just didn't put it in for some reason. There is also Prior Design I30N and Kona N widebody in the files. Magna Tuning Intenso kit for Kona N is also in the files.
Im hoping that the next update features some modern versions of 80's icons, like the new Countach LPI 800-4 and the DMC Alpha 5

The Pro Stock cars use a 5 speed Lenco transmission. Those transmissions do not use a clutch to shift.
Like the looks of the Cadillac ATS V as I owned that production model
the R 34 needs the Z tune hood fenders and something like that make it a exclusive like the horizon edition that way the car can have some additional speed.. just another thing would be nice the GT3 Kit

I truly love the Liberty Walk shillouette body kit that are out there. I have a r35 shillouette wide body as the background of my computer.
I would love a dev edition of fh5 leak like with fh3 to see just how much the developers are hiding cool stuff from us

I really want to drive Corvette C8.R. Standard Corvette has a great handling and it's simply OP so I suppose the track variant would have even more grip. It is in S2 but still cool thing to drive.

I’d drive the GT3 the most because it’s very aggressive, yet it is quite elegant.
The thumbnail glitch has been a thing that's been in previous horizons too, I often have glitches on number 5 my main one is having headlight completely blacked out, all I can think of are these are things that the companies are either trying out or have tried out in the past and decided not to, I've had numerous bumper and body kit glitches too and sometimes tire width and compound.
5:20 this is highly likely the case. The rear wing looks like the heritage wing from the Supra Mk5 and the front splitter seems like it matches that of the Mk5 Supra too.
Thumbnails are generated locally. Remember when there was a glitch that would make your windscreen and headlights black in the thumbnails? Forza devs confirmed that they're stored locally and therefore they fixed it, but you should still change a part of the visual appearance of the car to fix it on a car that was affected. So you're in charge of what the thumbnail looks like.
Most likely the auction thumbnails are also stored locally and as the visual 'modding' of Forza is limited to adding custom visual parts from other cars to different cars, most likely the person selling the M2 put the Supra parts on it, then sold it and what you see is the locally generated thumbnail on their end.
I cannot confirm this but it seems like that's what happened.

Car thumbnails are client-side, being uploaded onto forza servers as-is. I've tried this by putting up a 720s livery with a senna wing and it did show up on others' screen as such.
The owner of the m2 had modded the game to replace the front and rear aero models and textures with different ones
This isn't hidden customization, and modding the game is easier than you think with much better results than you could imagine, such as this.

Speaking of driver view errors, I think it is the DLC Shelby GT500 where when the driver is shifting gears, it actually looks like he is just rubbing the radio rather than stick shifting

Man, the race cars in this pack remind of FH3, I loved cars like the Fire GT and the R8 LMS. I have to say though, maybe a hot take, but I want to drive the Lexus the most. My uncle owns an RCF, and I must say, riding in it was quite the experience. It’s so pretty and smooth, such a fantastic machine. I’d love to try driving it around Mexico!

Pro stock cars don't use clutches to shift at all. They are clutchless units that only use a small diameter lever activated clutch for getting setup on the starting line, reversing after burnouts. Once the are setup they start creeping through the staging lights using what is called a trans brake.
Beat me to it... yep, they typically use Lenco transmissions.

In terms of the clutch, it's probably the most unrealistic thing in FH5, as ypu can change gears without it on manual with clutch. If you aren't on the throttle when changing, the car changes without overrevving.

Don't know if this has been covered, but the Bentley bentayga has a paint option, the last option on the furthest right. Has a wierd querk where it'll will turn blue when the gar gets dirty or wet

You will not get banned for visual mods. Visual mods will show up in the image of the the car if bought from someone because the image shown is a screenshot that is available on the internet. Kinda.

Way back when the unicorn cars (Skill Point Gift Cars) were popular around the 3rd playlist. I was looking for a RX-7 Twerkstallion in auction house because I didn’t have one and bought it as a S1 without realizing it. I drove it around a bit before looking at it in my garage of cars seeing that it is front-wheel drive and I thought that was normal at the time. without realizing that it wasn’t supposed to be front-wheel drive, I went to upgrade it and mistakenly overwrite the tune by confirming to making it default/stock. while upgrading, I noticed that there is no front wheel drive swap for the Twerkstallion. I was shocked and felt awful about losing a one of a kind front wheel drive RX-7 Twerkstallion.

I would love to drive the BMW GT3 because it was a memorable vehicle I drove back in Forza Motorsports 7 and I would love to drive it again in Horizon 5.
