I had so much fun making this, what myths should I try and bust next time?
Yes
@@HarrisonMinjhow is that even an answer to his question? 💀
On the R32 GT-R, no matter what level of roll cage you put on, you will have a full roll cage, at least visually.
You can change the McLaren sabre's speedometer in forzavista
You can see how many miles you have in a car.
Next myth idea: Bad driver with op car is better then OP driver with shit car.......
That's actually interesting to do in FH5. But my question is: How bad and good would the drivers be?
It’s been done kinda lol
So Nick with the sesto fe in x class againts DJ in a peel trident in d class
He did actually confirm that he built a car and then swapped with another person and the guy with his car won
id usually say op driver with shit car is better. youd be surprised how bad some boneshaker and ae users are
11:18 the stock tires probably just have absolutely jacked grip numbers and it overpowers the offroad tires' "offroadiness" parameter
Lol they should've made it possible for those super slicks to have a negative offroad parameter, so the game divides the grip stats when the tyre goes offroad.
No, sort of
They can’t hang on dirt tracks, only dirt drag race
Plymouth Cuda has "interior customization" as well, removes the passenger seat if you use weight reduction
Honestly this should be a thing for more cars. It's so goofy doing Race Weight Reduction and supposedly shaving hundreds of pounds off a car, and there is visually no difference at all.
I've been building cars for racing myself on this game for almost 3 years, and it's only up until last months that someone told me that drift differential is faster. Thank you for helping me confirm this.
Same, I just tested it and the difference is actually crazy on some cars
The Differentials are all the same it's just auto tuned out the gate, Race Diff is More open and drift diff is a lot more closed. Essentially there is more or less preload per diff and will allow for more or less slip. they're all the same otherwise except stock cause you can't tune it
@@Fuyuko_Hawku But no matter how you tune race diff, the acceleration times are still faster on rally/drift diff, so I don't think they're exactly the same
The myths around the 2.0 f4 turbo rally aren't even myths, they're just incomprehension. Cams can shift your powerband...woah. If you have a low-end crossover and peak power you shift early instead of falling down the power curve...crazy. Minor short-shifting is best for a lot of the bigger V8s and a few of the hybrid cars, as well.
Ikr? It's like people don't understand how cams work or what the purpose of upgraded/different spec cams are. The bigger the cam, the higher your peak powerband will be. If you want the low-end torque, don't do a big cam. Or at least that's how I've always understood it anyway. I could be wrong. There's definitely a lot more detail and nuance to it, but that's above my pay grade, lol.
most v8s dont require shortshifting. the LS v8 should be shifted at the very end of the redline on stock cams (around 6.8-7k or so). the only ones that really do need it are classic muscle cars and diesels
You should do more of these. This was fun to watch
Nicks good driving skills are already a myth.
the interior color change works on the new mx-5 if anyone was wondering
The drift dif is faster simply because it locks the dif to maximise slip in the corners while the other difs all allow some dif slip to minimize slip in the corners. Just use any other dif and lock it
even with the same settings, all diffs still feel different from each other when driving. its best explained if you drive a car yourself with different diffs and use the same settings for each of them
Just Nick not knowing what anything means. Not really myths
2:30 some cars are worse off with the drift diff. the thing nick doesnt mention here is that some cars (especially dirt ones) are better with offroad diff instead of drift, usually because drift makes the car overall more oversteery on the same settings
Drift diff better for AWD, rally better for RWD
Over/Understeern has no value in drag races. The drift diff is better for drag races.
Myth: Nick will have less skill issues if he shaved his mustache cause he won’t be distracted by it
3:56
What actually happens here is the race cams smooth out the powerband. You're supposed to mega short shift the standard cams for faster acceleration, but race cams can be revved all the way out without losing so much power and torque. Basically, less torque for better consistency.
Also the more aggressive cams you get the more power you get higher in the rev range but less low end torque. Bigger cam = More top end power, Less low end torque
Smaller cam = Less top end power, more low end torque.
5:27 some older muscle cars will remove the passenger seat if you do weight reduction (example: the hemi cuda)
6:36 with this section, you can also paint the interior of the Mercedes 280 or whatever the convertible is. I have a (what I call) banana crème color on it and the dashboard and the steering wheel (maybe some other parts on it) are carbon fiber
FH5 myth: using sim damage you can run down the fuel gauge on vehicles but cant do the same on electric vehicles.
FH5 myth: fuel tank upgrades affect the fuel gauge and how long it takes to “run out”.
0:03 the brake adjustment part of tuning also affects how your car launches if you don't rev bomb it
I love this, please keep doing this series. I'm learning how to make my cars better with secret (well, not so secret anymore) techniques.
U can check how bumpers reduce drag in last informations btw.
Love game myths. Used to go hunting in GTA SA all the time and loved that GTA V actually had fun myths to discover. So cool that there are myths in FH5 too. Need more of it for sure 👍
In one of the Mclaren Sabre you can change the gauge display. You have to get in the car, go into forvista, go to the interior of the car and there’s a toggle in there that you can switch!
Nissan 350Z FE having a 41l engine is so funny for no reason
you can turn the Porsche GT4 RS into a normal GT4 if you put a layer over the hood. simply make the car full carbon, then put layers of whatever color you want and fill the entire car with layers and it will pretty much be a gt4
We need actual interior design for fh6
this video gave me such a good laugh. Keep making these kinds of videos, i love them
im the guy at 0:29 you would not BELIEVE the laugh i had after that
Ayo? Also your Twitch username is sus 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bro forgot he did a video on the prostock tires already... Lol😂😂
5:30 the ford f100 (the old red one) has the same thing, just with more colour everywhere, due to the bare metal dash
every time i watch one of your videos makes me play fh5
Myth : Nick would have no skill issues if he breaks up with Nathan
A potential myth to test, the oil and cooking upgrade adds so much weight for so little power that it makes it faster to leave it stock
it drops pi along with intercooler so can be worth it if youre downgrading
@@romie-777 but it makes me cringe to add all that weight.
Dang I had no clue about the drift diff. I guess I’ll put it on my arm pro lol. Not that it needs to go any faster
If you take off the stock rear wing you’ll save weight and increase your top speed. But acceleration off the line is different
I think the diff affecting acceleration is because of the tune
He addressed this by saying he put the same tune on it
@@DesolateMoodoh no
That’s interesting. Now I'm curious about which differential is best for specific tunes. For example, which one makes the car go faster (like you tested), which offers better on-road or off-road grip, and which one makes the car slide or drift more easily? I’d also like to know your thoughts on suspensions too.
Definitely need pt2
Myth to test for next episode: Rally tires are better for dirt/off-road races than the actual Off-Road Race tires.
I've always used Rally tires for my dirt cars because I swear they feel better and more grippy in dirt than the Off-Road Race tires. It might just be me and my driving style, but I've never done that well with the ORR tires compared to Rally tires.
One of the VW rally bugs literally has a primary paint option that is the dash/interior
The spoiler on that celica gt was shaking vigoriously😂
Myth: same speed and angle when drifting do not mean the same points for different cars. Some cars just get more drift score. Test this by going the same speed into a drift zone and pull the e-brake and full turn until stop, or get someone to tandem drift with you in an almost identical spec car
Myth: sim damage reduced the collision distance for others in your convoy compared to having cosmetic or no damage enabled
Myth for you AR12:
Using different suspensions WITH the same tuning values gives you different results (not all the cars can have the exact same values with race suspension, rally suspension and drift suspension)
Nick maybe do a mythbusters for FH4. I know the game is dying out / getting delisted but it would be cool to see!!
Sell tinfoil hats on the store
ok mr m1 abrams
@@AR12Gaming what about selling chicken nuggets?
1440P FINALLY
Myth 0:10 Nick doesn't have a skill issue 😂❤
Nick and keep up the good work real true and I good the video real true 👍
lol, you already knew about the drag car's stock tire compound being better off-road than any other tire. You did a vid on it 2 months ago when doing dirt drag racing.
Next myth idea: the back to the future car aka the Delorean will light up after going 88 mph.
Have to atleast have an idea about what u doing if you want to Mythbust.
Lol been saying this about @ar12gaming for so long now..
Welcome to the channel… :(
Drift differential is faster from start cause is its "welded" ... differentials are just presets ...
i think the interior cuztomization is the same thing as the paintable brakes on the senna in fh4, they might be testing a feature
Can also paint the interior of the vw beetle, vw thing, as well as the koenigsegg agera although it’s only stripe on the dash or no stripe 7:07
I have one that nobody wants to listen to.
Drift suspension is better for off-road racing because of the higher steering lock & agility.
I’m on the Xbox One and I can compete with PC players. Also, it just easier to tune.
Camber, -1 front & rear
Spring stiffness, full soft
Ride hight, fully lifted
Rebound, 10 front & rear
Bump stiffness, 1 front & rear
10:25 I swear he’s tested this before…
Myth: When you drive the 1929 Mercedes SSK, Your Character will glitch and partly go invisible
Drift Tyres are better tyres for racing than Sport Tyres
Any diff at 70% or higher (depending on the car) will overpower
More of this serwis please
So is the drift diff just faster because you left the tuning values alone? Because I feel like you could just copy whatever the tuning values for that one are and put it on the Race one or any of them that allow you to tune them. I always tune my own diffs, so I might check this with a test car by putting the drift diff on and doing a run with it as it comes vs a run with me putting it to the values I normally use on it.
this early is craaazy
Honestly, I always thought the different diffs were exactly the same "aftermarket part" but tuned differently? So you don't have to manually tune it afterwards; but all of them unlock the full tuning spectrum anyway, so all it does would be giving you different starting points.
Is this the Mandela Effect at work? 👀
You can do a barrel roll with a stock standard Mercedes big truck and land on all 4 wheels.
When you change between rally suspension and race suspension on the deberti c10 the axels rotate (look from above)
And the control arms unlink
You can also change the ageras interior
Howdy nick 🤠
bro the best
The beginner of the video I crash skill issue 0:10
Myth: bigger rim size=more grip
any car with a stripped/bare metal interior has the interior customization. the nascar does

What was that after image at 12 or 13 seconds after the start of the video that was weird anybody else see that
It was a picture of him wearing his skill issue hoodie as he crashed
where did jacob rev go😂👍
some might say... forza science
Fairlady Z has bigger engine, & it's confirmed! lmao!
the last one make no sense😂
nice bro
You just did that last drag test in another video what a skill issue
Wasn’t it more for a challenge, than it did to confirm/bust a myth?
Nick your existence is a myth.
9:12 Someone in the chat said quabeck instead of québec
Can the best drivers in s1 beat the less tactically skilled drivers in s2
6:00 also the new GT3 RS
So naturally with Differential spec a drift differential is supposed to be the fastest simply because you’re supposed to produce more natural wheel spin compared to others. With a right tire you can let that shit hook up and fly
The Differentials are all the same it's just auto tuned out the gate, Race Diff is More open and drift diff is a lot more closed
We need the Renault espace F1 in the game
Does bigger rimsize increase grip overall?
Anyone else notice the wing moving at 9:20?
the f4 2.0 is still better race cammed lol
I have a myth do bigger rims give your car more grip?
I feel like they make your car worse, i'm not sure but I think its best to avoid them if your not in a big vehicle. Probably just increase wheelspin
HI AR12!!!!!!
2017 alpine a110 has interior painting
Forza doesn't have good enough updates for upgrades to be better
Bigger Cams do that irl nothing new just realistic 😂
Nick is a myth
I so badly want a sesto elemento FE but i always get outbid plssss help me??😢😢
Forza Motorsport update vid?
Day 50 of asking nick to play snowrunner
Day 4 of me asking nick to collab with goosiest
Nick you needed to do the drag races in automatic gears, cause the power band on that McLaren is quite small and at the top of the rev range, even shifting 100rpm difference can affect the drag time because you spend longer or less time in the power band.
there are done with automatic gears...
@@AR12Gamingi didn’t see you’d geared it down, I thought the redlining just before the finish line was cause you didn’t shift up. I do feel like a follow up on this type of video would be worth it cause I imagine there’s a lot more things like this
Who are the mythbusters nick Andrew and Nathan they both have zero years of experience
Exactly gotta have some grounds to stand on if gonna mythbust...bro just known for yapping 😂
