NYC, ironically being the largest city in America can really make you feel so isolated. Everybody is either self-absorbed and always on the go, caught up in their own lives. Plus, with so many people around, it can feel overwhelming and impersonal. Making friends there feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

i also have serious mental health issues and am very compassionate. i would absolutely not, because of people lioke this and their social experiments... its why i absolutely hate this type of crap. to me, its akin to "pretending" to rape a victim to see if "the influencers victim" will do anything... shame...

There are many things we do to make us happy in life, but in some cases, it could be the same thing that makes you happy that damages your relationship with your family, friends. I know I'm going to deal with my father's shock when he sees me physically transitioned (feminizing my body) since I'm a trans woman, but transitioning itself is worthwhile, because it'll make me happy.
You'll always make sacrifices just to be happy. You sacrifice your "comfort zone" when you work on your physical exercises, but please, her this out: Do what makes you genuinely happy, be authentic, even if you're going to lose a lot, it's worth it.
