Chris please add "Going Through Changes" from the Recovery album to your list. It's a very goosebumpy song, and also addresses the Kim stuff and his daughters.
I love this song, one of the most underrated from Revival album. To put on context, the name of the song comes after Kim said in an interview in 2007 (a year after their second divorce): "he's a terrible husband but he's a great dad". So he's wondering how those two things can exist in the same time. Also "X Ambassadors" is singing the hook. They're an American pop rock band. I'll be patiently waiting for "Going Through Changes" (2010) where there's a verse about her too, and is kinda the same as this song.
bad husband is genuinely so underrated, such an emotional and deep song. people don’t like him for making disses about his wife and mum, but he does more than most people do by writings songs as an apology. eminem is such an inspiring and talented person.
They have remained friends ...he has said they are better as friends ...than they were at being a couple! "Not bad people, just bad together"! That...I think ...hits a lot of us in many ways.... A trip we have all traveled along with and are still taking with probably the greatest poet of the 20th Century!!!
shortly after this track came out he even put her through rehab after she crashed driving under the influence, fairly certain he saved her life , such a beautifully tragic story
Being an Eminem fan since I was 9 in 2009, It was such a big moment simply hearing him say the words "I'm sorry Kim, more than you could ever comprehend" was such a big deal and something I never expected to hear. Definitely a goosebumps-causing moment
It always has amazed me, as a em fan since the beginning, how deep this guy is. I know him better thru his music, than i probably know 95% of the people in my real life. He leaves it all on the table and pours it all out to his fans. You have only been listening to him for a short while now, but in that time he has showed you alot of who he is. Absolutely one of the best artists of any genre or art form. Keep up the good work chris!
“STRONGER THAN I WAS” BY EMINEM SHOULD BE PART OF THIS GROUP OF VIDEOS. ITS A SONG ABOUT THIER RELATIONSHIP AND HE WROT IT FROM HER POINT OF VIEW SPEAKING AS HER. IT ALSO CAME OUT BEFORE BAD HUSBAND.
@@lyricalmike7162yea he’s never come out and confirmed it but the song makes way more sense when u listen to it with that in mind. Even starting out with “u used to say I’d be nothing without you” why would she ever say that to him. He was the famous one. Makes more sense that he would say that to her. A lot of other clues like the really high pitch “baby please don’t leave”
@@bryankahl3514 No I think it’s from his own perspective, also I don’t think you how much a woman can mean to a man if you think that simply him being famous negates the meaning of that statement.
In your head is such a great song, personally I enjoy Revival. Many people don’t give this album the credit it deserves. Legacy is another great one, loved that era of Em.
Thank you for doing this trilogy! This hits hard even if you aren’t in that place like him. That last verse gets me weepy sometimes. It’s beautiful what he can do with words. And people said this album was trash? It was a gold mine but for what he needed to release.
What passion. Passion from him. Passion from you. This song hit me in 3 different dimensions. As a father, Son, and Husband. Pulled on my heart ♥️ strings. 🥹 Mockingbird next to this is forever my favorite eminem song emotionally .
Your emotions reached thru my phone and touched me. Heavy story. My #2 son reached out to me recently. Had a wake up call. He was always my sweetheart. I have 2 back. One to go....my oldest. Your reactions are such blessed counsel. Thanks and blessings to your life 🙏. Pace yourself darlin! patti
The things I could write in a day if I had Eminem’s brain, thoughts, and vocabulary. This man is a modern day American Shakespeare. He truly does get people through bad times, his music, his pick me up songs, his rage is ours as fans of him.
The same you can’t seem to explain how great Em is, is somewhat how I feel when watching your reactions and mini side ‘story times’ I save a lot of reactions to my ‘watch later’ playlist except when it comes to you, I’m so intrigued to hear what you have to say each and everytime. I have to be honest and say I did come to your channel for the Eminem reactions but I’ve stayed for your thoughts. I have listened to a lot of the other artists you react to as well but not nearly as heavily as Eminem but I have and continue to listen to the others too. Appreciate you bro, all the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿 🤜🤛
Yes indeed, a very profound song! The entire revival album is like this. Please add Walk on water to your list! It's from this album, the first song on it and it has a very symbolic video too❤️ also your last words, so true! And it's crazy to see people saying he should go back to shady and take pills and what not.. like that was the darkest time in his life and was this close to dying, how can you wish for him to go back to that?!?! The level of maturity he has shown in the Revival album is incredible!
You finally listened to her, I wanted this for months. And a song that I want you to listen to (which also has a huge emotional charge, is "Going Through Changes"). I need you to react to this. I love how you already manage to understand so many things and reverence in respect, love in every word you say and how things connect with your past. PD: Regarding the question, what did you ask yourself about how Eminem is doing with Kim, they get along well, they are just friends and he has the postcard of all the daughters (three) but she has been fighting for a long time about her life, not long ago she tried commit suicide. She's struggling with her drug addiction, she can't get over it. Eminem tries to help her but when someone is like that... it's hard. PD2: The hook of the song is from the group X Ambassadors, a very famous group that had already sung with Em.
You definitely got to do “going through changes” by Eminem he talks about all his problems when he was in his darkest place especially when he almost died
Deep. More than most can fathom. Pure genius. There is so much more to unravel when it comes to Em. I have been at it since he blow up on the scene, I love how you doing it. Mad respect
I've been a life long Eminem and hip hop fan, however 2 years ago when the pandemic started, I fall in love with the Beatles and 60's music. Music is everything. ❤️
This song always makes me so emotional, even though I luckily enough don´t have this situation in my life. But I can so imagine it. Since being a mother (almost a year ago), I constantly imagine such situation and being a child stuck in the middle of it. It hurts my heart
Absolutely love your complete 180 turn on Em!!!! He's a national treasure that gets way too much hate. Please react to "my darling", it's a beautiful yet twisted song about his inner demons..... It's just simply a work of art!!!!!
I would like to see you listening to music from my country (Brazil), music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's. Brazilian culture is sensational, and we had singers who still make an impact and are missed. Thank you for providing wonderful moments in your videos.
Your reaction is like a beautiful episode of a beautiful story. Im loving your reaction sir chris.. much love from philippines.. hope you will still continue to react to ems songs.. Guts over fear Believe Going through changes. Bless you sir 😇
Many wishes he still was around his first 2-3 albums. But an artist grows, makes new mistakes, learns new lessonsand change perspectives. So does a real fan. He was crazy back then and I wish I could rewind the clock too at times. But you can't and while I can appreciate his early days almost as much, if honest with myself I'm glad he don't sound like that and do the stuff he did then. While I didn't fully appreciate Revival years ago I today appreciate it more and can't say it's a bad album just a different album. And a different Eminem. People are selfish and inconsiderate when it comes to his rapping and music. Old Eminem, "he should rap like that again" and shit. I view Eminem like I would my own kid. Do anything, if that's what you want and makes you happy then I support it. I love him regardless. Besides I've always been of the opinion that you should always make it for you and people who like what you like will come. You can make song sor and album here and there just for the fans for fun but in the end it's about what you enjoy... And the real ones like it that way too.
A song or music is never just that. Its every shade of every colour you never could dream of. Its magic. Music is medicine for the whole person - holistic. I firmly believe that. The choir is probably a sample but beautifully done. How many of your friends have you converted to him yet? Edit: Just read the lyrics, yikes. Yeah he admits it.
i started listen to em in a very young age, since i was 12yo because of my old brother, he gives me this song i think LOSE YOURSELF and since then i fell in love in Eminem, i just love how transparant he is, how honest of a person he is, how he inspires me as a person, and how he made it from the bottom, he helped me back when i was in a really bad situation (getting fired, breakup...) with his music and motivated me a lot... i remember listening to his recovery album while i was going to italy illegally by sea, and how afraid i was but with his music i felt him giving me the fuel to be patient and not being afraid, i was living in a really small town in morocco and im a stan to the extreme, my room is full of his posters, that shows how big of EMINEM is. there is just so much to unpack with this song and almost all eminem songs. you can listen to this song 30x and still have it touch your soul in different ways each time.
Going through changes is one of my favorite tracks of Ems when it comes to putting his life hardest moments out there for the fans to know ........he's definitely different and that's in the best kind of way ,to be open with his everyday struggles and share on a multiple tracks in this genre is rare......#levelstothis
& 30 years after he stepped In the ring & literally 50 he still out here droppin bombs & killin everyone on wax..humble af..n still don't get the props he deserve is fxcked up‼️💯‼️
It was not a literal "punch". She would do something that hurt him..and he would do something that hurt her! He has known her since she was 14 yrs old...they didn't have any Good examples of a good relationship! They had only seen abusive relationships and didn't know how to deal with his fame! Of course they had the regular problems...but they just didn't have the tools to move away from that type of behavior! Its sad but a lot of marriages end too soon due to this....or they just arent mature enough to work it through! It's heartbreaking to listen to this side of the story....but it happens to a lot of couples.
I can't agree with that why would he reference punching each other & tell his girls your dad is a scum bag? He's referenced their physical fights to many times for it not to be. But I do agree they were kids never taught how to be in healthy relationships
@@jessicazhuwao5053 I will have to go through some of his songs/interviews s well. He addresses this in a few things. Everyone just "assumed" he meant physical fights!
@@jessicazhuwao5053 He's literally referenced Joe Budden and abuse allegations hitting his girl etc. in songs as disses. So obviously Eminem has not hit his girlfriend / wife Kim as that would be silly to bring up about someone else, when he would be admitting doing it himself in his own songs? Wouldn't it?. He's just saying he feels like a scumbag for staying and joining in arguments and that. That has no correlation to hitting someone. He's refenced putting her in a trunk and in a river with his daughter in songs too, so did he do that? No. Your reasoning is completely faulty and wrong.
13 actually I read. It makes me so sad that she never knew a healthy relationship, and is depressed to this day. I hope they both find happiness I really do. It’s so hard to see people suffer so publicly.
Absolutely beautiful breakdown, and thank you for sharing your story with us too. I’ve lived a similar path of the two of you, and watching these videos with you, we laugh and cry together! You and Em are both role models of mine, I look forward to your videos.
Love You More definitely has to be checked out too. Chronologically it's more towards the Kim / Bonnie & Clyde side of things. Great that you've gone on this mini adventure on your Eminem journey.
Great job! This song is so heartfelt. And I feel every verse. It's like, how can you be good at this that and this, but be terrible at one of the most important things in life. Describes me to a t LOL
Hey Chris! Hope you're all good man!? Loved going on this journey with you Chris! Love the personal touches you put in your reactions and I can really see how you relate to what Em is saying! Keep it up man!
Em’s working his 12 step recovery program here…making amends to those you’ve harmed. I believe it’s the 8th step. One song he says he still loves her and thinks of her everyday. I think it might be on Revival too.
What's up UNK, 🔥 introspective reaction as usual. What many people don't know is that Em & Kim have been on good terms since he got clean. They raised the kids together & Em has always financial took care of Kim regardless of their status at the time. They ruined each other 4 future relationships, lol... and Em seems to be the type of dude that once burnt they aren't gonna trust anyone ever ..
Hey Chris! Bro I'm not sure you will read this I know you have plenty of comments but I very much enjoy your videos. Hearing your story and seeing the emotion is touching I am rooting for you bro! I hope you read this. Also this is my first comment on your videos.
Nope, I’m one of those in the audience who has taken your advice & listened (then downloaded) many of your other reactions. But you’ve grown so much as a reactor, keep it up man
PLEASE READI was in prison with em disappeared from music was in as massive stoop I actually heard his voice on my TV 8t was not afraid n I lifted my chin up got through it n never been back that was 10 years ago this is the power ems words have n I owe him everything for making me the man I am today
Thanks for the reply made my day my names matt love your content would you consider reacting to eminem kings never die I think you would really relate to that song thanks again for the reply means a hell of alot
This song is on the same album (Revivial) as Arose, thus maybe the same feel to the song. This album came after the Recovery album and he was just so on fire by this point.... and still is on fire. (Recovery has Bad Guy, Spacebound, and Not Afraid and a dozen other phenominal songs). My favourite song off Revivial is Walk on Water, video link below, its so amazing. ua-cam.com/video/ryr75N0nki0/v-deo.html
Correction , there was an album between recovery and revival, it went recovery, Marshall Mathers lp 2 , and then revival , also Bad Guy was on the Marshall Mathers LP 2 , not recovery
Yep made a mistake on the Bad Guy. And disagree about Revival, so many solid songs on there. Wouldnt rank it among his best but definitely better than Encore and Relapse.
I love all music genres so I’m glad you said open your minds I’ve always loved all music and music saves lives if you give it a chance also love the videos
Love this song because nearly everyone has come across the right person at some point but it was the wrong time. Me and my ex. We loved each other so much but it turned sour. We split got back together and if we was lovely we would just drive through the night together and talk. Unfortunately it couldn't work out together relationship way tho. We always there for each other just bad when together
Loving all your em reactions should look at some of his collabs like D12 albums Obie Trice we all die one day ft 50cent lyod banks eminem or Lady ft eminem don't believe there is any official videos
I am so happy to see you have reacted to this! It’s one of my favourite Eminem songs…there is just something beautiful about it. Definitely in my top 3 reaction channels, keep it up💕
I think “He’s the biggest nugget of all” is my favorite quote describing Em if you remove all the context lol Your love for him and his work as an artist reminds me of my own. I get excited every time I catch something new when listening to any of his songs, and I could probably talk way too long about why he’s my favorite artist from any genre whatsoever
Omg !!! No one told you to do : puke! It’s one of Eminem best diss on Kim… But it’s ok I’ll remind you on every Eminem video you do from now on 😂😂 Keep up the great work! Verry fun to warch you learn and be so open mind about it! 👌
it's ok. we have all heard how it's not music and it's just swear words. we are just glad you got to see what we seen. and continue to see. hes one in 7 billion. glad I got to live in the same era and was a teen when he was on top of the world and grew up with him. he was so open to us, as fans. he showed us his fuck ups with his highs. we could relate, and we literally grew with him. also em and her are on a friendship level. he helped get her a house close to his.
Amazing reaction. Please watch Linkin parks one more light. It's a song that kills me every time I hear it knowomg what lead singer chester Bennington was going through before taking his life.
side note to my comment about their relationship status Em actually released a song just a few weeks before the world found out him and Kim had been talking again and the name of that song is "Stronger than I was" on the marshall Mathers lp2 it would technically be part 3 in your Em and Kim sequence and bad husband would be part 4
This album is underrated.. I recommend you to listen to "Believe" its an amazing song from this album. By the way Castle and Arose are from Revival album too.
Chris please add "Going Through Changes" from the Recovery album to your list. It's a very goosebumpy song, and also addresses the Kim stuff and his daughters.

I love Eminem from his early age in the music industry till now. But I had to say He is indeed a change man
Love You More definitely has to be checked out too. Chronologically it's more towards the Kim / Bonnie & Clyde side of things.
Great that you've gone on this mini adventure on your Eminem journey.
When I’m having a bad day at work I throw on your reactions. Hearing your genuine reaction is so wholesome.
Thanks so much! I hope you have many brighter days ahead!
Goosebumps and tears to this song. Double whammy.
Thanks so much Damien!
Another Eminem therapy session, love it.
No. He also talks about putting hands on her on "When I'm Gone". It's not a metaphor, is literal.
@@Paola-df8xt oh ok, thank you for the info
@@Paola-df8xt I edited my comment, thank u
Em’s working his 12 step recovery program here…making amends to those you’ve harmed. I believe it’s the 8th step. One song he says he still loves her and thinks of her everyday. I think it might be on Revival too.
Been a Stan since day 1...knowing his story thru his songs really make it almost impossible not to be emotional listening to this song...
I would say it more because you are a mature person, you saw the man growing up and healing. That why the song get you emotional.
What's up UNK,
🔥 introspective reaction as usual.
Very cool! I didn't know that.
The bridge singing is X Ambassador, they’re a great band.
I recommend reading Eminem's book, The way I am. You will understand his genius thinking even more.
I’m getting it right now!!
@@jackiejackiebootysmackie I'm gonna need your feedback 😊
@@ramona9829 is it by Anthony Bozza?
@@jackiejackiebootysmackie no, it's written by Eminem himself.
@@ramona9829 oh nice!!!
I think you might also like "Kings Never Die". It's one of my most favorite songs of Em.
Hey Chris! Bro I'm not sure you will read this I know you have plenty of comments but I very much enjoy your videos. Hearing your story and seeing the emotion is touching I am rooting for you bro! I hope you read this. Also this is my first comment on your videos.
Thanks so much, Cory! Glad to know you like the content!
Nope, I’m one of those in the audience who has taken your advice & listened (then downloaded) many of your other reactions. But you’ve grown so much as a reactor, keep it up man
Aww, that's great! It's pretty rewarding to discover something special.
PLEASE READI was in prison with em disappeared from music was in as massive stoop I actually heard his voice on my TV 8t was not afraid n I lifted my chin up got through it n never been back that was 10 years ago this is the power ems words have n I owe him everything for making me the man I am today
That is so very incredible. Think about it! Music saving us. Simply amazing.
Thanks for the reply made my day my names matt love your content would you consider reacting to eminem kings never die I think you would really relate to that song thanks again for the reply means a hell of alot
@larryshair you can describe Eminem as a "Wordsmith"
Very intense reaction man, i was feeling the last verse with you
This Man says things that we as older people hide every day
Thanks for all the comments, Dallas!
Great reaction.. Em is a poet.. 💐 💐 To the Greatest 👑 🐐. 🤘🏻
A lot of people really hated recovery I think it's was one of his best albums great reaction Chris
The feature is "X Ambassadors"
The other comment already corrected what I wanted to. But you're right: "Walk on water" is amazing! One of my favs from Em. 😊
@@mrhotbox9023 yes thank you, what was i thinking 🤣 dont know why i slipped bad guy on there.
Absolutely! Break your own rules if you want to grow. Get uncomfortable.
Yes, more Revival this 1 from Em, is GREAT!!!
Will have to listen later though !
Love watching your reactions to these amazing songs! One artist I'd recommend is Mac Miller, specifically the song Good News. One of my favorites!
great great touching song
This song is so good and the x Ambassadors fit in so well has the ft artists
Thaaaaank you
Awesome reaction!!! 🙂
Thanks so much!
Listen to “Crazy In Love” and the bonus track “Love You More.. it’s on Em’s Encore Album..
And had this put to bed
But I'd be lyin’ still if I said I wasn't sittin' here askin' myself, just a great bar with a great message.
Artist: Lil Dicky
Song: Molly
You'll love it 😊👊🏻
The chorus is sung by X Ambassadors, but I do not know the female vocalist.
Glad you enjoyed this piece.
need me is from the same album. great andtouching songs with pink
Amazing trilogy reaction.... You should make this a playlist
Please check out ‘Til I collapse’, one of the greatest eminem songs imo. Love your videos!
Thats a great motivational song!!!
Loving all your em reactions should look at some of his collabs like D12 albums Obie Trice we all die one day ft 50cent lyod banks eminem or Lady ft eminem don't believe there is any official videos
Love all your reactions
Thanks so much!
I am so happy to see you have reacted to this! It’s one of my favourite Eminem songs…there is just something beautiful about it.
Definitely in my top 3 reaction channels, keep it up💕
Thanks so much Jess!
I think “He’s the biggest nugget of all” is my favorite quote describing Em if you remove all the context lol
Your love for him and his work as an artist reminds me of my own. I get excited every time I catch something new when listening to any of his songs, and I could probably talk way too long about why he’s my favorite artist from any genre whatsoever
Omg !!! No one told you to do : puke!
It’s one of Eminem best diss on Kim…
But it’s ok I’ll remind you on every Eminem video you do from now on 😂😂
Keep up the great work!
That is X Ambassadors singing. Amazing group
Another download to add to my list.
Love the video as always!
Thanks so much!
This album is underrated.. I recommend you to listen to "Believe" its an amazing song from this album. By the way Castle and Arose are from Revival album too.
This is awesome
