It seems like the only limitation to that bar is the power of the machine it's attached to. Enjoyed the video and the music.
It's tough for sure. A heavier tractor would certainly do it justice. Mine is a 45HP model with loaded rears. Unloaded tires brings the spec weight to right around 4,000 lbs. The loader runs about 780 lbs. The brush cutter on the back adds an additional 760 lbs.
I already have a Wicked 55. Is the tooth bar worth getting too?
It depends entirely on whether or not you actually want to dig and move buckets full of dirt. The root grapple is much better for taking out bushes and brush, hauling away trees and brush piles, etc etc. The tooth bar will do it but it will also leave a much bigger hole in the ground that you then have to backfill with dirt. If I could only have one it would be the root grapple. I need to dig and move dirt around occasionally so I also got the tooth bar. My tractor is currently down waiting on a new sensor. When it's back up and running I will do a video comparing and contrasting the two.
@@hiddenacresoutdoors thanks for the feedback! The grapple has been my best purchase for my tractor, by far!
It's definitely the most fun one to use.
Was a good video until you showed the part that we actually want to watch at warp speed. We want to see how the tooth bar works, how it affects the tractor and in real time and audio. Cut out some of the blather if you need to cut the time.
Sorry you didn't like the video. It works much better than a bucket for digging. It works as a poor man's substitute for grapple work. The effects on the tractor are exactly as one would expect. Better results would obviously be obtained from a heavier tractor as the video shows.
