    Just to speak on the extremity of Carol’s actions:
    At this point I think Carol killing Karen and David is a direct result of her feeling guilt about not being more pro active to keep Sophia safe coupled with her promise to keep Mika and Lizzie safe I think she did her best with Sophia but she hardened after having so much hope only to have been wrong the entire time She watched other people (Daryl (Rick) being almost self-sacrificial for the group And she witnessed Shane do some unthinkable things to keep the group safe and especially to keep his family alive All those things plus Ed formed her into a weird if not misguided amalgamation of ultimate protector.

    At 4:46 Daryl was looking for a Jasper Stone for Mrs Richards, she is from Woodbury from season 3, she asked Daryl before she went in quarantine to look for Jasper Stone for her husband grave, her Husband Mr Richards was killed in season 4 episode 2, rip Ana at 20:09, poor Bob at 25:07, Rick was right at 25:29 Karen and David could have survived, rip Karen, David, Mr Richards and Ana, gone to soon

    This was a pretty good slow episode slow is important sometimes A lot happened because we got to know a little more about Bob and his addiction we got to see Daryl opening up more and accepting that Rick and Co are his family now and We got the chance to discuss The Carol and Rick dilemma as for this slow episode itself really enjoyed it I loved the character development and everything about it.

    As a former addict I can promise you that what Bob did is exactly what an addict would do. That’s how much it takes control of you, it’s crazy. To the point of threatening Daryl just for his drug of choice is not far fetched at all. The demons take control of you to a point that makes you do stupid things, I can see how ridiculous it would seem from a non-addict’s viewpoint. Him admitting to causing Zack’s death and still going for alcohol the next time he sees it isn’t surprising at all. It sucks

    Great episode The acting between Melissa McBride and Andrew Lincoln was just amazing If you can tell everything Rick is thinking based on his facial expressions then you know he’s an incredible actor I don’t think he’d planned on sending her off immediately but the trip was to gain insight on her motives so he could make the decision Unfortunately for her her coldness towards the couple he was trying to recruit and her showing how capable she was is what helped him make his decision I do not agree with him thinking she’d hurt Carl or lil ass kicker though when she did what she did to help protect them Sure she was wrong but I’m still team Carol on this Rick shouldn’t make this decision alone there’s a council for that.

    Rick and Carol’s trip contains some clues to future episodes! Watch carefully!

    I think it's absolutely absurd for Rick to not trust Carol around his children. I mean, come on...she would never harm any members of their group, especially children.

      I mean, I guess we never really saw what this community was like during the off-season. But, I assume people could make the argument that Karen and David were a real part of their group. And she did that to them.
      But if you're talking about the OGs -- yeah, I can see that a bit more. But as a parent, that little bit of doubt about her character might be enough for me, honestly. What if my kid gets sick (not bitten)? Is she gonna off them without telling me and try to cover it up?

    • @kimberlywilmoth9184
      @kimberlywilmoth9184 3 місяці тому +2

      @PhilipManzano Yeah, I'm a parent myself, so I definitely get that question. But, the answer is no, she wouldn't...and yeah, I was referring to the original members. If it was Maggie and Daryl or Glenn and Hershel, there's no question about it, she would've never done that.
      I mean, it was wrong, but I get her mindset. She thought they were gonna die miserably anyway and she was trying to stop it from spreading.
      Btw, hell of a job from Erika being able to call Carol on it so damn fast. Most of the fandom back in the day was shocked, and all the reactors I've watched too. So, wtg 👍😁

    I don’t blame Rick for sending Carol away. Regardless of the it ending up saving her or not. She made a selfish, emotionally-charged call which was not hers to make. Karen and David could have survived that. And anyone who already had contact with them would either get sick or wouldn’t. The damage was already done. I like Carol okay, I have sympathy for her. But too often she makes selfish calls based on her own unstable emotional state and I can’t stand that. Everyone is dealing with trauma and PTSD and grief. Not just her. Same goes for Bob.

    Her argument actually is terrible. One tried to kill him. The others were unconscious and asleep.

    I always hated Rick's decision for leaving Carol. When I look back on it, Rick was in the wrong too. He left a vacuum in leadership when he became a farmer and that's why Carol told him he can't just be a farmer, so she stepped up and took control. She was still wrong for doing it though and should have consulted with the others first.

    Bob consistently makes the wrong choices, this is why I previously compared him to Andrea. They are the same kind of annoying characters, even while being quite different personality-wise.
    They were going for a "young Hershel"-vibe with Bob, but it doesn't really work, because the dude just can't do anything right.
