Attila, I started watching your videos a year ago since I started listening to PanterA and dedicating myself to Dimebag's playing. Every lick I couldn't find a tab for or I wasn't sure how Dimebag was playing It I looked at from you, I learned every song of theirs from you and I've progressed a lot just because of you. I actually just watched the whole interview a couple of days ago and literally paused the video when Zack mentioned you and Ola so I could look you up. I had heard of Ola, but never you to be honest. Once I found you, I was blown away at how well you play Pantera riffs and solos. I bet Dimebag would be impressed if he was still with us. You’ve got a new fan from Poland!

Yeah bro- He DEF watched the vid you did on A NEW LEVEL- BC ZaKK plays the verse with those upstrokes that are like unorthodox and so genius-and im thinking to myself like**oh, he knows to play those with upstrokes, too maybe he's the one that showed Attila how to Dime plays it" but low and behold he learned it from you!! What a truly humbling experience to have acknowledgement from one of the finest. 🤘🏻

thats awesome man! I watched the interview when it came out and knew Zakk was talking about you. So cool you got to open for them too.
Well good on Zakk, he has the ears to hear where to learn it from…you have filled Dime’s shoes as good or better than anyone on the planet, it’s scary how close it sounds to the original. And your live tone from that sick show you guys did is just perfection. Chefs kiss my man.
I got to play an outdoor show back in 2003 or so, and we did a 5 or 6 song Pantera medley to honor Darrell. I borrowed a USA Washburn Dimeslime that said Trendkill on the upper back point. That was so much fun, we got a sick pit going, about 500 people there, a hundred of em were going bananas. The energy was unreal. I practiced for 3 or 4 hours a day with the drummer for a few weeks straight to get super tight and fluid. It was totally worth it. I also got to play in stereo, which was a blast as well…good times and lots of gain. Lol

If Dime were alive and needed to check how he played something, he would go to Attila for the proper technique to give the right feel--something that Zakk does not always possess.

but ZAKK WYLDE's results in playing dimebag solos were VERY DISASTROUS
I imagined that he would completely overturn everything with his very chaotically aggressive and crudely imprecise style
we need to face reality
I was 333 percent disappointed
I respect that he and dimebag were friends but I didn't like it and I didn't feel like spending money on a ticket and trip to go see a half band revived or rather devalued with two members who musically speaking have nothing to do see with dimebag and vinnie paul

No one plays like Dime all the tab books are wrong. I didn’t realize how wrong till a read Dimes guitar world articles. You have a serious talent to be able to decipher the subtleties of Dimes technique.

I remember stumbling across Vulgar Display of Cover some years ago. Immediately thought you were the best I've heard when it came to emulating Dime's playing and sound. Still holds true imo. Shoutout to Apey, too. He had some nice vocals on stuff like Suicide Note Pt. 2.
