If you would have walk a block over from 5th, you would have paid around 50 to 75 pesos for that cab. Two hundred pesos is insane since I know the area you went to. Never catch the cab on 5th, at Walmart, Mega, etc. If you go to Walmart, Mega, the mall, etc....always walk a block or so over from it. They charge the most at those places since they pay extra to pick up there. I have been in Playa for three months now and I leave this weekend. I have learned the ends and out. Shoot now I never pay over 60 pesos for a cab since I ask them the price before I get in. If the price is too high, I say “no” and shut the door. They got me the first few times I visit Playa but never again. I went from cruising on the Breakaway for 8 weeks straight and went straight to Playa...well Cancun airport first. Prices are starting to get ridiculous in Playa since it is becoming popular like Tulum. I'm going to find another spot in Mexico. #PlayaItWasFun✌️
J, it’s crazy how much happier and relaxed you look these days. If you scan through the thumbnail pics from before, during and after your work with Virgin, you can clearly see the difference in stress and joy in your face. This was a really fun video!
You can take a trolley from Downtown San Diego to the pedestrian bridge into Tijuana for $2.50 each way. There's also a Greyhound bus that will take into Tijuana's central Bus Station, price depends on the day of the week and the season. When I was in the Navy, stationed in SD, it was almost a rite of passage to go down for a night.
I think it's very inconsiderate when someone puts their carry-on bag in the overhead compartment at the beginning of the plane and their seat is at the end of the plane. Then when the person that shows up the sit in the first couple rows all the overhead bins are full and they have to put their stuff in the very back
As a frequent visitor to Playa I had to chuckle when you said plenty of taxis 24/7. Well that is true except for when it is raining, they all seem to disappear so be prepared for a long wet walk if you don't have an umbrella handy. Will be back in October, can't wait. Love your videos!

I want to go to Cozumel…stay for awhile maybe 5 days. I live in Tn. Could you suggest places to stay, not necessarily a resort but a room like you have. Not into parties just relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
