Great video. The Aerogarden 45W grow lights are perfect for the one large grow tray. If you watch for sales I bought 4 this past spring for. 45.00 each. That 1/2 was they cost full price. Great lights, on a stand or can be hung if needed. Easy to store. They are compact, yet cover a full seed tray.
Thank you for making your videos. I am learning so much from you and see the mistakes I am making. Correcting the mistakes as a newbie so much to learn.
I enjoy watching your content, I struggle with nutrient deficiency with my plants and I kept trying different things and I just can’t figure it out. Could you make a video on what nutrients to use and how to mix them and if you have nutrient deficiency and how to check for it. Thanks keep up the great work.
Hi! I recently got a Home Tower Garden, and I learn so much from you! Thank you! It would be awesome if you would specify all the time which ones can be grown inside vs outside and if, for example, peas need to be hand-pollinated indoors. You provide so much more actually usable content than I can find elsewhere, and I appreciate it!!!!
I’m ramping up my content starting next week and will have shorter videos covering all the things. Peas don’t need to be pollinated. Thanks for the ideas!! It helps me know what content to create. Thanks for watching!
I’m looking forward to your video on the dwarf tomatoes. Currently I have lettuce, kale and arugula with some herbs growing. I wish I had found your videos before I started…..but I think it will be ok for my first harvest. Thanks!
The dwarf video is out! I'm finishing my ebook with over 50 plants to grow and very specific details about each one. I will also have a micro-dwarf tomato video come in a month or so. I grow micro dwarfs inside in the winter. They are so much easier and I found 9 varieties that are very tasty and prolific. Here is the dwarf tomato video. Happy gardening! ua-cam.com/video/-H6PGzRJVUA/v-deo.htmlsi=ag6ENVAr4a2wHzRQ
I bought a used Tower Garden 8 years ago and love it! I have only used it in an unheated sun room in spring , summer and fall in zone 5. It is amazing how the produce grows! Do you ever just start your seeds directly in the rock wool in the tower garden?
Arn't they the best!? I don't direct sow seeds. The reason is you can have other plants maturing in the tower for the 3 weeks seeds are getting started in a seed sprouting nursery giving you more food. I have also found that it is easier for seedlings to drown. It seems to work okay for people in hot climates who grow durable greens like swiss chard but I don't take the risk. I have some seed starting videos that explain this more.
@theaeroponictowerchannel Hi, loved your seed reveal for ideas of new things to try in my tower. I was extremely interested in finding the follow up on the dwarf tomato varieties that you selected for the towers and how they turned out. I can’t find this video for Dwarf Tomatoes in the Tower Garden. Did this follow up ever get created? If so, can you please send me the link for it? I am so excited to grow multiple varieties in my tower garden, want to know best to try. Love all of your videos, really hope a dwarf tomato project video has been created!
Hi! I'm actually filming that video tomorrow because they have grow and produced fruit and now I can share how it worked. Spoiler alert: it worked amazing!!! I do a lot of live videos on my facebook page that you may like. I share the real time happenings.
I am. new to the TG. Just started my first one 3 weeks ago. You have a link to a "Water Tester Meter" and plants with brown tips. Do you have a video that goes into more detail?
I’m a new subscriber and love your content! I’m just worried about the overall launch cost for the whole thing. Could you please tell me how much you spent to get the whole thing up and going from start to finish? Most people don’t realize that it’s not just the upfront cost of the expensive tower and that there’s a lot more hidden costs to get started. Thank you!!
Sure! So a single tower with lights is $85 a month for 12 months, no interest. If you don't need lights and plan to grow outside it's $56 a month for 12 months. If you want to pay for it outright it's $1,020 with lights and $725 without. The kit comes with everything needed to grow for about 6 months except you will need more rock wool after your initial set up so about $80 a year and you will eventually need to buy more nutrients which is also approximately $80 a year. I highly recommend a simple seed starting kit. There is a link in my YT videos and it's $45. So total initial cost is approximately $1,130 for the grow kit with lights, extra rockwool, seeds and a seed starting kit. After that the yearly cost is about $200 for rockwool, seeds and nutrients. The cost of power monthly with lights is $16 a month, depending where you live, and $8 a month without lights. It costs me .40-.60 cents to grow a head of lettuce on a tower so they for sure pay for themselves many times over......If you grow what you like and eat what you grow.
@@atomizer2665 Yep. They have paid for themselves now after a year. I'm not at a place in my life to make my own. They also have been tested to have zero nanoparticle breakdown after 10 years in the sun so I know I will have them forever and don't have to worry about chemicals leaching into the water.
Thank you! Your videos have been so helpful for this newbie Tower Gardener!!
I'm so glad they are helping!

Did you ever do the seed reveal for what type of tomato varieties that you bought, I cannot seem to find it.
Can we get the regular tomato seeds

Hi! I don’t. I actually need to remove that. I have sense changed my mind on that being needed. It’s more for standard hydroponics.
dwarf velour is sold out oh well maybe next time

Wow, i cant believe it costs $725 /£600 for a basic unit. My towers were £60 each :)

That’s actually was a great deal for TG with this design. It’s even more now as well as others systems. Thanks inflation
