Why? Mere circle friends me toh kisi ke sath koi issue nahi hua aajtak, mostly app me aise issue hotay hai roj ticket raised hoti hai by costomers, but recent incident got fire because it got viral via LinkedIn. And since grow is very popular that's why it got eyed by media and influencer etc.

Sweetheart, I do not agree with the portfolio overlap point, as funds from different AMC in a case have slight similar portfolio, please note the treatment/managing done by the fund manager would be very different.
It is save to invest Mutual fund through Grown
As you said, equity funds are good for short term return. In long term, the volatility and risk will kill you.

I didn't understand why midcap and small cap allocation is small in our portfolio. What If we are holding it for 20 years ?
Lots of small cap company end up filing bankruptcy in 10 years time
It depends on person to person. Smallcap have high volatility. U can't get out small cap in bear market. So if you are sure you will not need that money and u have set aside money all possible expenditure that may come unexpectedly.
Then u can go for small and midcap all in.
I'm investing for retirement so I invest mostly in Midcap and Smallcap you can do the same but only if you don't panic when your portfolio goes down around 50% in case of stock market crash.

Have one dedicated large cap (Nippon India Large Cap is good) and one Flexi Cap (Quant Flexi Cap is recommended, considering other funds in your portfolio).
Instead of 3 small cap and no midcap . U can have 2 smallcap 1 midcap and 1 flexi cap
Midcap index have given better returns than smallcap in last 20 years

Historically nifty always filled gaps. The huge debt burden will allow some correction in us market creating cascading effect here.
