    I love that this build featured more "budget" components, many UA-camrs build in these cases with high end systems with $200 AIOs so it is a nice guide for people like me :)

      Hello! Apologies for the late reply mate. I, unfortunately, didn't get to test this build out for any crazy long gaming sessions, but for the time I did test it out, the noise levels were fine and didn't appear to be noticeably louder than other PCs I have games on. However, the build featured in this video only had a Ryzen 5 5600X and a Radeon RX 6600, which I would consider being more toward the mid-tier components for gaming compared to some parts currently available on the market. If you did beef up your build with some more powerful components which are compatible, then the noise levels of the fans might be a bit louder as they attempt to cool the more power-hungry components.
      If you do end up building something in this case, then let me know how it goes! 😊

    Nice video. Love this case in all black. Probably could have used less time on how to snap parts into the motherboard and more on the cable routing. Also did you cut any of the cables to custom lengths?

    • @MwaveAU
      @MwaveAU  Рік тому +2

      Hey Louis, sorry for the late reply and thanks for the feedback about spending more time on cable management. There were definitely a few tips provided, but rewatching the video just now, we could have zoomed in on the case a bit more to show you guys what I was talking about. I will consider this for future system-building videos which include cable management 😊
      As for your second question, no, none of the cables was cut to a custom length. None of the parts was chosen because they specifically had shorter cables for a Mini-ITX system. I just had to make it work. From memory, I tried organising a lot of the bigger cables under neat the PSU, to create a designated "cables" section in the case.

    Hi, I have a question. I bought the Water version and had some quality issues (sold it then). The top grill was scratching the white case(I think they forgot to calculate in the thickness of the paint). Did you get one from the Producer (sponsored), or did you buy it on your own? I am a little sad about the built quality since it is a very expensive case. But I love the design.(Apple like) :(

    @battlepowered Рік тому +1

    I got notified this was back in stock, and have since, got a much beefier case (tower 100).. I'd love to downsize into a smaller build but I have 2 questions.
    1. I see you used a little rgb with the fans. In a dark setting, can you see the rgb at all, or does the case just keep it all hidden? (this can help me by buying cheaper, non rgb parts and selling mine for a profit)
    2. What's the max gpu length you can fit in this case? I currently have a reference 6800xt.

    • @MwaveAU
      @MwaveAU  Рік тому

      Hey mate! Is it the Thermaltake Tower 100 Mini-ITX Case that you currently have? If so, it is definitely a bit beefier than the IQUNIX ZX-1 Air Cooling Mini-ITX Case 😮
      Yeah, you can see the RGB on the 2x exhaust fans at the top. It is a bit hard to see in this video as the studio lights definitely overpowered them, but you can slightly see them at 8:41 . IMO they look pretty nice as they shine and reflect on the side of the grates on the top panel. However, you can definitely get none RGB fans if you would like to save a little bit of money. Just keep in mind the performance you will miss out on by not having RGB in your system 😂 jokes!
      The maximum GPU size supported in the IQUNIX ZX-1 Air Cooling Mini-ITX Case is a dual-slot card measuring 305x45x140mm. The water-cooling model of this case can support a dual-slot card measuring 305x60x140mm
      What is the exact model 6800 XT GPU you currently have?

      Unfortunately, that card is slightly too big for the Air-Cooling version of the IQUNIX ZX-1 Case... But your GPU does fit in the Water-Cooling version as it can support up to 60mm in GPU width. However, this version does have less CPU Cooler clearance so this might be an issue if you are using an air-cooler.

There is also a water-cooled version of this case which is about 33mm taller and will allow you to mount a 240mm AIO cooler 😊

    Hi, I also have RX 6600 and looking for ITX build. Currently I only have the GPU & Samsung SSD 980 Pro and both are PCIe 4.0, motherboard also will have PCIe 4.0 slot.
    My only concern is the GPU riser that still on PCIe 3.0 and if one of the components (the RX 6600 with PCIe 3.0 GPU riser) are not in running on PCIe 4.0 so all the components (PCIe 4.0 SSD) will running to PCIe 3.0 too?. And also is there any performance drop too from 4.0 to 3.0?

    • @MwaveAU
      @MwaveAU  Рік тому +1

      Hey Coppp.
      Firstly, running the GPU through a PCIe 3.0 riser cable with not affect the other components in your build. As long as your motherboard has a Gen 4 NVMe M.2 slot for your M.2 device, it will run at the Gen 4 speeds.
      Secondly, a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for a GPU has almost enough bandwidth to fully support PCIe 4.0 devices. When you start to look at the more high-end components like an RTX 3090, then you start to see a little bit of a difference (even then it is a small amount). For an RX 6600, the difference will be minimal or none existent.
      Hope this helps mate! 😊

      Hey mate. Glad you liked the video! Oh, what a score, I actually have the exact same Graphics Card in my work PC and it's definitely a great mid-range gaming card.
      That GPU is actually not that big, and it would fit in a lot of cases so I won't be able to recommend every single case that could support it. But I will recommend you one case (the case I am using for my PC at work with the same GPU that you have) and it's the Cooler Master NR200 Mini-ITX Case. There is also the RN200P which has a glass side panel if you prefer being able to see into your system.

      Hey Kharley. Yes, this is a solid gaming PC aimed more for the medium to high ranged gaming. Easy to run games like 'Valorant' or 'League of Legends' will not be a problem and it can still handle more demanding games like 'CoD: Modern Warfare' and 'Battlefield V' at 1080p with high settings. It can still handle most mid-ranged games at 1440p, however, it will struggle running some of the high end Triple A titles at 4K resolution.

The IQUNIX ZX-1 (air-cooled) mini-ITX case can support a GPU of up to 305x45x140mm in size (the water-cooled version can support a GPU up to 305x60x140mm). I just had a little look at the dimensions of a few RX 6600 currently available and most of them can fit, but there were 1 or 2 that unfortunately were too big.
      If you let me know which RX 6600 you are interested in, I can double-check to see if it fits for you😊

      @@MwaveAU please! Thank you! I'm building my own PC, but I like your video, I like the components, the only games I use are shooters, and for work, but I don't know if the model you gave can be useful! 🥲

      Glad you enjoyed the video mate 😊 The GPU used in this video is the 'Sapphire Radeon RX 6600 PULSE 8GB Video Card' and of course, as you can see in this video, it does fit in this case. All the components used in this build are linked in the video description.
      If you are gaming at 1080p and mainly only play shooters which tend to not be very demanding, I have no problem recommending an RX 6600 for your build. At the time of this comment, an RX 6600 a very solid mid-tier graphics card at a very affordable price point. But let me just check first; do you game at 1080p? And also, what games specifically do you play?
      FYI: I just re-read your original comment and there is no RTX 6600 graphics card. RTX implies that the GPU has Ray Tracing and is an NVIDIA term. The 6600 is an AMD GPU and is referred to as an RX 6600.

      @@MwaveAU the truth so far I only play warzone, counter and valorant, but I'm seeing components thank you very much! I don't know if you recommend that cabinet because it costs 200 for the size I don't know if it's worth it...

      Warzone is the most demanding game to run out of the 3 games you mentioned. But at 1080p resolution, you should be able to get 100+ fps if you are running a similar spec'ed build as the one in this video. Counter-Strike and Valorant should not be a problem at all to run 😊
      The IQUNIX ZX-1 case is definitely a premium PC case compared to other similar-sized cases but keep in mind that even though it is a smaller case, the price doesn't reflect the size of PC components and generally speaking, smaller components are more expensive as they are a smaller factor and take up less room to store. I personally really like this case but if you are more on a budget, then you can definitely find much cheaper PC cases.
      Another mini-ITX case that I have no problem recommending is the Cooler Master MasterBox NR200/NR200P Mini-ITX Case. It's a little bit bigger but still a pretty small case 😊
