Dang, I watched 15 of your videos yesterday. Was stuck under a load at a truck stop and apparently binged hard-core. Well, time to continue the tradition (🍺 📹 👀)
An idea for a meal: one cup instant rice in a baggie. One can stew or whathaveyou in another baggie. Dump all together in pot and add one cup or so of water. This cooks fast and makes a hearty meal.
You guys are awesome. looks like you were friends for life, I Laughed my ass off at 12:09. An edit from 10:24 to 12:09 would have been a riot. Synthetics for hiking, cotton for camp. For me, it wouldn't be camping without rain, it rains on us every time.
Hahaha that would have been a great edit! I've always been a person to stay away from cotton in the winter, but David impressed on me how important that was for summer as well. Especially for backpacking.
Told ya I was bingin. So far seen a few. As of this postin... I'm impressed. Always nice to see somebody doing what I do and do it with class and style. Off to watch more of yer vids :D
I enjoy enjoyment. You two looked like you had a fun time. You guys could almost be brothers, from a short distance even twins. I had to double take a couple of times.
Haha we do look a lot alike. I think David has moved away from YT for the time being. He builds custom made camper vans and I think he wanted to focus on that. Nice guy. I did another buddy trip but with Kevin from Small Plots. If you keep going you’ll get that one.
Hell yeah man, an awesome part 2! Always cool finding abandoned stuff just sitting around in the woods, it's amazing how much history can be in little random places. Tuna Creations for the win!
Oh My Goodness Sam. I'm dying laughing. What a goofball. I love mac and cheese with regular tuna. Not flavored tunas. Well done David and Sam. So fun. Did you tell him about his price tag? Brahhhh too funny.
This was a great wrap up to a semi-faulty start. I'm glad you two were still able to get some camping in after your "nautical disaster". Can't wait to see what you've got coming up next.
@@CampingwithSamBananas story of my life... Really though, I loved it. Like that @$$hole at outlaw camp said, "if all you got is what you got then that's all you got." Or something like that.
Man that was awesome to hear how you and Dave met. I'm glad that you two was able to still make the trip turned out good even though the kayaks was a failure. The trail looks awesome too. The trail look like something that I can hike down in my flip-flops which would be awesome. I like the campsite that was pretty awesome spot to set up camp. I like your flip flops man & how you use them for kayaking and Camp shoes. Especially for Camp shoes because your feet me to drop out from being in those socks & hiking boots so you don't get hot spots and blisters on your feet. I know that is very important when it comes to hiking. Good video buddy am enjoying your Channel.
Thanks Mack! You're totally right about foot care during hikes. David gave me some good tips on avoiding blisters as well. Thank you so much for watching, man. I really appreciate it. More adventures to come soon.
This is great camping trip for overnight. Exponent editing skills. Thanks for sharing the amazing overnight camping. I’ll sub and come back more often 😍👍🏼
@@CampingwithSamBananas I’ve done archers fork before. In the fall time when it wasn’t so hot but best believe a trip is in my plans. Thanks for the video cheers
If you're ever in Kentucky. Holler. I'd love to camp and play guitar and show you some killer spots. RockHouse Bottom is a super cool spot near me, and I can play some good campfire music.
Hey bud! For the most part I camp alone because I like to focus on what I'm doing (making a video). But I wanted to tell you I checked your channel and you play some beautiful music my friend.
another good video ,really enjoyed it . you may be interested in looking at a water collector bags by a company named CNOC. they're a whole lot easier to use and the Sawyer works with it .
Dude I’ve seen them, a few companies make them. They do look super useful. I got one from a company called Membrane Solutions. Used it on a trip in May it was dope! Haven’t posted that trip yet but will probably post it early July.
i hv that same tent, in green, loads of room in it for yourself and tons of gear all the other 1 person tents, in similar price range, were too small for my liking
I love the tent, but I think getting myself and the pack in there is a challenge. They just sent me the two person version. I haven't had the chance to try it yet.
Okay then, i have officially watched all your videos. I am a FAN! One warning though, don't you EVER forget the banana flask......as, i am a whiskey man! I will call you out on it.....trust me! The banana flask seems to be your trademark......and, you don't forsake that......EVER!!! I would love to have one of those, for, as you can see, Papa Smuurf is holding a bunch of bananas.....and, i love whiskey! =P
I've never forgotten the banana flask on a trip, but I also use it outside of camping. I once lost it for about 7 days. I was completely devastated, as it was given to me by my good friend Connor FINNNN. Luckily it showed back and now I guard it with my life.

This was a beautiful trail. It appears well used. So I agree it must be a favorite.
I need to go back here sometime. It’s thought to be one of the best backpacking trails in Ohio.
Thanks for introducing us to David, I like him & Kevin from Small plots, just cool camping !
He's very cool. He doesn't really do YT much anymore, as he started a CamperVan building g company. It's pretty cool!
I like the the music! "Leaning...leaning..." found myself singing.
I really liked it too haha!

I've been eyeballing something just like that.
I remember this video Sam. Good thing. You guys had a great time. Usually you take a swig off the banana 🍌 flask as soon as you get to your campsite.
Haha yes I do! A little tip of the hat to Steve Wallis’ Step Two. This was a fun one.
Such a good video! Y’all mesh well together!
