The suit fabric is beutiful indeed - and the fit, too. I remember hearing (although haven't had any experience with Lanieri myself) that you can email them about trouser cuffs, lapels etc. and they can often accommodate those requests. Also an unlined jacket is possible, but they're in the 'blazer' category.
Great Video! All your content is very clean and great to watch. As for the Discount code for Lanieri, I can’t seem to find it. Is it still available? And if so what is it?
Thank you! Sadly, Lanieri stopped offering these kinds of discount codes to influencers and their audience. I will still work together with them in the future on new content, but I sadly don't have any discount codes anymore.
Spier & Mackay is a great place to buy clothing and accessories in the US - besides, I'm more into European brands because it just makes more sense for me personally being located in Europe. So, belts mostly don't have the same colour as the trousers and therefore they cut your silhouette apart visually. I personally don't like that look too much - high-waisted trousers with side adjusters elongate the legs and form a better looking body overall.
Suit looks absolutely great, much better than I thought, particularly being double breasted - I always see mediocre results in brands that are not at the top of the price bracket. Fabric selection on the site seems really limited though, I'm probably too late for a spring/summer jacket (although I would probably wear a spring/summer wool-linen-silk well into fall personally). I could even go get measured there since I'm in Rome. Will probably do so in a few months, as soon as I finally have any reason to buy an expensive jacket. I wonder, though, whether it's so perfect because they have already adjusted your measurements twice through shirting, and whether I should do the same. Though their shirts are actually suprisingly expensive, I can get fairly cheaper MTM elsewhere locally (I assume the difference must be at least in part that Lanieri uses famed italian mills while the few shirtmakers I've used don't, since they don't really say).
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the fit of the suit is that good because they already knew my body through the shirts I ordered. Maybe you could give this a try as well, even though I agree that their shirts are pretty expensive in comparison to other made to measure shirtmakers. Some of the fabrics are quite outstanding though, so it might be worth it!
How well has the linen shirt held it's shape over time? Would you still re-order it? There are so many options for classic white linen shorts in the 100-200 euro price range, I'm having a difficult time choosing. Ultimately, it's a simple shirt but how well the linen and the collars hold up is key, after nailing fit of course.
I still love the linen shirt and wear it frequently during the summer. The fabric still looks and feels great, even after a couple of washes. The collar holds up and it looks nearly as good as on the first day. :-)
@@SartorialStyles make sure to try and look for all the options, since they have many not just in terms of fabric but a lot in customization as well apparently , for example you can opt for different widths of stitching on the collar (they claim 1mm is more elegant but still), also you can make measurements of your favorite shirt (not just the body) to essentially clone it with them apparently. all I know is that I really want to try them out as it seems there's a whole lot of care put in so you get the shirt you want
@@Electron101 I am a regular customer at Apposta. I only buy from them. The quality is perfect in my opinion, i highly recommend trying them out. Fabrics, options etc... are all topnotch.

That could be, but it's weird they did not tell me about these options when I was in contact with them. I will ask them about it in a couple of days!
another great video, very in depth! keep it up
Thank you very much!

Do have suggestions for shopping in the USA? Also, please explain the benefits of side adjustable pants. Many thanks!

Super Content! Weiter so.

Is your Lanieri link still active? When I click on it to purchase, I don't see a discount.
It's not, but I have a new one for you: 10% off with 'BENJAMIN-10' :-)
great video ! is there a deadline for the discount code? thank you
Thank you! There is no deadline for the discount code - you can use it anytime you want. :)
theres an MTM brand called Apposta that has quite the offering of fabrics , but they only make shirts. still would appreciate a review of them :)
Thanks for letting me know! I might take a look at them later this year and post a video about my experience. :-)

Who were the two companies that you mentioned at 4:25. My closed caption couldn't make it out?
That would be Collaro ( ua-cam.com/video/tVDDQg9sFlM/v-deo.html ) and Yeossal (ua-cam.com/video/xnu0uwCLfts/v-deo.html ).
One complaint about Lanieri: their prices in USD are 20% higher than in EUR. (Even though taxes and customs are lower when shipped to the US!)
I wish some of these online MTM companies would offer options like hand made button holes.
Indeed, that's pretty rare to see!
This video is 🔥
Thank you!
With the open shirt would have been nice with large gold chain an medallion
way to expensive
