Ratchet and Clank find themselves at odds with their archnemesis, Dr. Nefarious. Only this time, he’s equipped with the dangerous Dimensionator, a device with the power to travel to other dimensions. @jimmy hopkins I love both Uncharted and Jak and Dax series. I heard that ND was working on a "few" projects, really hope that at least one of those series is on the list as it's considered still on the table. Hopefully if the Uncharted movie does well it would warrant another game. It seems the voice actors are all down. Hoping J&D follows.
I hope this ratchet and clank game is longer. I want to enjoy this and not beat it in a day.

It was more fun on the multiplayer games . Their exclusives are better for me . Halo gears forza. Battletoads sunset overdrive fable and the rest are just fun

I have a few concerns:
1. Kinda hoping that Nefarious isn’t the main villain again. I believe that he was great in Up Your Arsenal and A Crack in Time, but after those games, I feel like he was just overused. I’d rather see a new villain. I’m also not opposed to them bringing back an old villain for this game whatsoever, I’d just rather it not be nefarious again.
2. I hope that the game has more comedy. The original trilogy was packed with jokes. Every conversation, video transmission, or commercial had a few funny parts thrown into it. The future trilogy was a bit more serious, but kept the comedy. There was just less of it, but it was still there. But I feel like Into the Nexus kinda stripped away the comedy almost entirely. I feel like the remake on PS4 lost a lot of personality because of that. The emphasis was shifted to big cinematic experiences, rather than charming dialogue and goofy scenarios.
Here’s the thing: I ADORE how the more recent games are like playable Pixar films. I love how they’re more cinematic now and action packed. But god, I miss the personality of the older titles.
The way I see it, why not have both? I hope this game brings back the funny spirit of the originals, while also keeping the more exciting and “serious” elements of the new ones. But...I’m not getting that from this footage. I have a feeling that this one will be totally similar to the remake on PS4. It’s too early to tell of course, but...I have my doubts.
Look, I’m a Ratchet megafan, and I am totally buying this day one. I know for a fact that ill absolutely love it. I’m just pointing out some things that have me worried.
I will probably get this game even though I probably won't be able to get a PS5.

Yeah the new games have really weak humour. Like the originals had so many great jokes in every cutscene interaction. In these newer games it's just exposition and bland conversations

I also would like the game to be longer, the last one I played, I finished it in a day, but don't get me wrong, the "replayability" of Ratchet and Clank games, are off the charts.
I also agree with the villain, but, since this game will be in and out through different time periods, maybe there will be multiple..?
Who knows, I'lll still love it either way, the gun progression, levelling up mechanics etc. make it just awesome.
I just seriously hope they'll make a Sunset Overdrive 2 after.

You can’t tell what’s a good game if you say 2016 was a “good game” graphics wise yes. Story wise? No. They ruined drek dark personality and I am not sure why insomniac felt the need to throw in nefarious and the “galactic rangers” if they never took place until up your arsenal. So shut the fuck up cause your stupid ass probably is gonna say “ but the game was good to “some people”” yeah only childish people. Only true fans knows the true ratchet.

The humor was childish and the reboot does not have the same energy of humor was the very first 3 games. Also the voice acting was horrible. Ratchet and clank barely had any cutscene interaction like the first game. You also see how they destroyed dreks reputation as a cocky businessman rather than a dark, corrupt and evil businessman that actually feels like a villain. Also this rift apart isn’t good in voice acting if anything nefarious does not even sound exited or evenly to begin with. He sounds like he was forced to speak a simple sentence.
I think dr. Nefarious and dr doofenshmirtz would be best friends

'Up your arsenal' was so good for me as a kid because you could grind for weapon upgrades and compete in arena fights for rewards.
I love it when they just throw you into the action. Little dialogue or explanation. Just pure action.

How to make Ratchet & Clank great again:
- bring back the old music instead of these cinematic scores
- take the story less seriously, have more jokes and funny characters and those infobot videos
- branching paths on a level with a question mark in the end
-bigger focus on platforming elements and gadgets
So overall just go back to the original style which was abandoned in 2007 with Tools of Destruction.

I played ratchet 1 2 and 3 and i liked them but in 2020 i think it should get some sort of ragdoll physics.
Insomniac made spiderman and it had ragdoll physics why not implement in ratchet and clank

I hope they come up with something new with the new lombax character. I don’t want the creators to make her similar to Ratchet, I want her to have a totally different personality and story and goal which she must have because she’s missing a arm.

Imagine that the dimensionator is actually the ryno in this game it would be awesome, that you have to repair it, in think it is very unlike to happen but id love, it would be like an excuse to do a different function superweapon and it would not be like a “black sheep” or something like that cause there are alredy a few that are not rynos

Not to sound negative because I am really excited for this game but I hope you don't always get constantly the same rifts as you can see from the first and second clips going through the rifts it seems like the same kind of sequences and levels which seems a bit repetitive and not very imaginative

The reason this game looks so great. Isn’t because of the high tech graphics. It’s because Insomniac haven’t lost their passion for Ratchet and Clank. We got MW2020 this year. Looked just as incredible as this. But had no passion in the maps or fun. All tech no heart.

honestly even just the original style of replayablility. more weapon levels. golden guns. ratchet 3 had great replayablility. but this game should be way longer. i hope it doesnt rush through it all. if we only fully level a few guns before we beat the game it would feel aweful

I was really hoping to see a little gameplay of the female Lombax but i figured it was too good to be true.

where the hell you saw raytracing? He didn't even reflect. (i mean like in mirror and shadow dose not count) If it had rt, at 3:56 you would be seen how ratchet reflects on floor like in mirror (colors) but you see only shadow...
amd's rt are same weak as nvidia's 2018 gpu (and that doesn't mean that amd sucks just they released rt technology lately)
@@TarunTechEnvironmentCC well if you had played "call of duty black ops 3" (released 2015 none rt were around back then) then you could had seen these entity reflect. It is awesome when games support new graphic and im glad that rac will be on top of that but this is not rt. (but yeah it could be rt alternative after all)
The thing rt could do is itself player reflection which cyberpunk misses.(that's bad but hope they will add this)
Entity reflect was already a thing unfortunately player reflection is quite hard and ate too much resources but rt could do and help but after all amd rt's are weak (well at least they develope rt which is very important)

Bring back the smart adult script and wish the weapons upgraded like in Going commando where they got their own screen and the weapon design changed drastically, the lancer and shotgun for example

I heard from a leaker that Into the nexus is a Ps+ game in June.
So that would make sense that Rift Apart is a sequel to Into the Nexus.
My dream would be If Capcom could make an Megaman X with This kind of Gameplay, with Lots of "Weapons" From Bosses and What not
