  • Pushing the pedal to the floor?? Squishy brakes that don't want to stop? Brake fluid change! I'll show how to do it two ways: working solo (with help from a bleeder kit) or working with help from a friend.

This was good info, a maintenance item often overlooked. Do you still have your K-5 Blazer? Cheers!

Thanks! Nope I dont have the Jimmy anymore. We moved and I left it behind. Working toward a 70's bronco purchase though for the channel.

@@MechanicLife That was a sweet truck. Square bodies are in high demand, especially unmolested ones. Hope you got a good price. Check out BaT auction, mint low mileage examples have nearly hit six figures. Cheers!

    Subaru dealerships are ripping people.
I own 2016 Subaru forester 49000 miles my dealer told me to get the brake pads changed and quoted $525 for both front and rear.
I bought the top brake pads from Auto zone for $140 and outside mechanic charged $100 all work done for $240.
Dealer asks for brake fluid change for $145..outside all done for $60.

Nice work finding it cheaper. All in to change the fluid in this video with new valves is $18.
