    I recently dipped my toe into chalk painting with just one colour. I now feel confident enough to give meshing a go thanks to you. As I live in the UK, it is difficult to source meshing tools. The meshing applicator can be found on amazon or maybe in your local hardware store?
      There are two kinds one ☝️ is the “ water wiz” and the other one ☝️ is called the “ Wooster pro wool” , let me know if you can find them , so far other in different countries have been able to purchase them on amazon. I know the shops in North America sell them but take a peek or give a call and ask if they carry the names of the applicators ? But you best bet will be amazon 😉💙🎨
      If you don’t find success with either let me know and I will help you find the exact same material and help to create something similar you can put together 🙌🙌 cheers xx

    Back to the wax questions; sorry about that! The reason I ask about the use of two coats of clear is the following: the 1st coat is completely absorbed by the paint/wood. I can see that it's down because the surface is darker. However, does that provide enough protection to the piece? My store always recommends two coats of wax. What is your opinion? Thanks again! Susan

    • @TheReclaimedHeirloom
      @TheReclaimedHeirloom  3 роки тому

    One other question: do you put on two coats of clear wax before putting on dark wax, particularly if you are using the dark for depth in only some areas?

      Hi Susan you can put two coats clear wax or more that’s ok. The main thing is just having the a clear wax down first before applying the dark so you can work with it. I hope this helps! 🙏🎨❤️
