I remember the goosebumps I got when I heard "Wieża radości, wieża samotności" for the first time. The lyrics are so methaphorical but still say so much...and this real footage from the protests in the video...
10:56 "Who is that supposed to be?" - that's Antoni Macierewicz, a politician who was the head of the National Defense Ministry and messed up some things for the army. The lyrics of that song in that fragment are "Antoni is calling to arms".

It's too short to hear how good this music is. I think the best years are the '80s and '90s. What you lose are words that you do not understand. Polish rock music from the '80s and '90s is pure poetry.
Hey. Instead of these 3-5s. songs You should choose 3-5 full songs. Its too short to really hear it. This compilation is more "reminder" for people who already know these songs. because I couldn't add a comment under another video. I would like to point out that the list of the most popular in Poland should be chosen by the number of views and not likes. After all, not everyone always likes songs. and the number of views is more significant. but of course you had no influence on this, only the authors. ponieważ nie mogłam dodać komentarza pod innym filmem. chciałabym zaznaczyć że do listy najbardziej popularnych w Polsce powibno się wybierać wg liczby wyświetleń a nie like . przecież nje wszyscy zawsze like piosenki. a liczba wyświetleń jest bardziej znacząca. ale oczywiście Pan nie miał na to wpływu tylko autorzy.

You're writing nonsense. Punk music was very popular in Poland in the second half of the 70s (especially Maanam, Republika) and then in the 80s (a lot of bands) - as a result of the rebellion of the entire society against the decaying communist system and the fact that people were fed up with the Soviet idiocies forced in Poland, and the very strong reaction of young people to the introduction of martial law in 1981 and then the absurd, rotting, decadent communism. But in the 90s punk stopped being popular, with the years of this decade it became niche. On the other hand heavy metal gained a lot, and just, simply, rock. However, at the end of the 90s rock became less popular, and the most popular became various editions of Polish rap and various Polish indie music etc., plus pop.
Unikaj polskiego rapu i hip hopu. To po za kilkoma utworami słaba muzyka. Piosenki o bijatykach na osiedlach i każdy autor takiego utworu wygrał wielki bój a wręcz wojnę. hahaah Unikaj disco polo bo to tandeta i kicz. Jaki nadawca taki odbiorca. To muzyka dla raczej słabego w doznaniach artystycznych odbiorcy. Polski pop też jest fajny. Poszukaj starych wokalistek i wokalistów. Tam znajdziesz to czego szukasz w polskiej muzyce. ps. czekam na Twój film z mojego Krakowa.
Sorry, but Kombi isn't rock... It's pop. And Kult isn't rock from years... It's alternative... Like Chylińska .. She was a rock star who become in plastic-doll like another one - f.e. Doda... (Kazik f.e become into the most known polish alternative musican...) After "boom" in 2000 (time of nu-metal and nu-rock from USA) there isn't radio in Poland what want play a true polish rock (because polish rock become too hard for radiostations) , this music isn't in mainstream... I know lots of groups but but every of this is a "garage play". Why... Because a producents don't want to risk... They will pay to musicans and after this radios won't promote this music... For example... Łzy started just like rock group, but they become a pop stars to be in radio... Sometimes in radio we have punk rock, but never hard rock...
Dokladnie, tak samo nie wiem co tu robi Zakopower, a Rotary ktoś pomylił z Myslovitz bo na miniaturce filmiku z ich piosenką jest zdjęcie Myslovitz już od lat xD
The gap is too big. There were many Polish rock bands between 1963 and 1978. Someone didn't try hard enough :P In addition, the fragments of these songs are too short to evaluate them. This entire material is pointless. Better look for this in the full versions.
I hate this lists. Some of the song are such bangers i would love to see your reaction to but these fragments are so so short they are misrepresenting songs.

Polish rock beginns in the late 50s, probably. Berfore (and to some extent after) that, the main branch of "progresssive" Polish music was jazz.

@@agatsonzon Piosenki bez sensu? Chyba nie za wiele od nich słyszałeś ^^

It's not Rock
Polski rock jest dobry.
Unikaj polskiego rapu i hip hopu. To po za kilkoma utworami słaba muzyka. Piosenki o bijatykach na osiedlach i każdy autor takiego utworu wygrał wielki bój a wręcz wojnę. hahaah
Unikaj disco polo bo to tandeta i kicz. Jaki nadawca taki odbiorca. To muzyka dla raczej słabego w doznaniach artystycznych odbiorcy.
Polski pop też jest fajny.
Poszukaj starych wokalistek i wokalistów. Tam znajdziesz to czego szukasz w polskiej muzyce.
ps. czekam na Twój film z mojego Krakowa.
No elektryczne gitary :(

Strachy na Lachy
Dokladnie, tak samo nie wiem co tu robi Zakopower, a Rotary ktoś pomylił z Myslovitz bo na miniaturce filmiku z ich piosenką jest zdjęcie Myslovitz już od lat xD
plis some polish internets hits
Vader
im dalej- tym gorzej
crappy list
more KAT more Beheoth more Nocny Kochanek , amd more KULT
The gap is too big. There were many Polish rock bands between 1963 and 1978. Someone didn't try hard enough :P In addition, the fragments of these songs are too short to evaluate them. This entire material is pointless. Better look for this in the full versions.
80's are the best and not polish music...
