I came from the 'old' scaffolding of the traditional protestant modern church teaching which I finally found abhorent, to the rethinking God with Tacos group, and I like it better, it's all about grace and love of God and Christ, but I'm finding that it could just be another scaffolding to hang onto, another series of propositions that I have to keep rehearsing. What do you think?
@ don’t you find it peculiar that the “relationship” with Christ comes about. He’s fkn dead. You can’t have a “relationship” with a dead person in the same way you can’t have a relationship with a robot or a scammer overseas lol
@ and don’t you also find it peculiar that the story of Noah’s Ark wasn’t actually from the Bible it was stolen (appropriated, which is where capitalism comes in) from the Mesopotamia era AND NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THAT APPROPRIATION. Look around you today… the western world was infiltrated that way. And nobody has a fkn clue. A self reliant man is a far richer life than Jesus would ever empower. It’s not a coincidence it’s the big picture everyone refuses to see. He wasn’t about freedom he was about enslavement. He just didn’t know it. He was naive. But the churches sure fkn did. @ it’s one thing to be interested in say entertainment (film) as I am. Some people call that a cult following but as I don’t follow people or films per say I pick something randomly and if it’s entertaining than great. But to follow an idea such as a supernatural being that’s entirely a cult a sick twisted manipulative mental cult as it tries to penetrate your psyche. Anyone willing to let anyone drill them has nothing to share with anyone other than more drilling. It’s ignorant. @ Jesus’ “sacrifice” was NOT a “sacrifice.” He did NOT “sacrifice” himself for all of humanity. What’s “more important or worthy” today, that’s the definition of “sacrifice.” So what is it today that’s more important, since sacrifices are made for the future. Who fkn decides that. See the problem. Who the fk was he to decide that for you. Or who the fk was Pilot to make him a scapegoat. Or who the fk was the people to decide that for the west etc So did Jesus solve anything, no.
