we got a small church in the middle of very conservative mennonite area and we get visitors that love the way we do community but leave cause they are offended by the message of goodness and called us heretics. so when you talked about "planting trees that future generations will enjoy the shade" it was encouraging... same things you guys are saying I've been encountering in contemplation..."if I can help one person see goodness of Father I've already changed the world" thank you guys!
Super glad to see this!!!
Please never stop doing these podcasts…i don’t have another that’s even close! And as you’re letting Jesus use this podcast boat, I know wisdom, connections, and just straight up laughable, tangible money and resources are hunting you down and overtaking you every day of your lives! He will show you where the catch is
Fantastic. 1st time listening. I've listened to Liz Wright and others teaching on our Union with Christ Jesus . So refreshing and full of life. Thank you for paving The Way.
Definitely would be awesome to see John crowder speaking at Damon’s church and get Damon to send John over to his spiritual son’s church here in va.
From Robert Farrar Capon, Smiling on this conversation from the Cloud Of Witnesses.. "The Reformation was a time when men went blind, staggering drunk because they had discovered, in the dusty basement of late medievalism, a whole cellar full of fifteen-hundred-year-old, two-hundred proof Grace-bottle after bottle of pure distilate of Scripture, one sip of which would convince anyone that God saves us single-handedly. The word of the Gospel-after all those centuries of trying to lift yourself into heaven by worrying about the perfection of your bootstraps-suddenly turned out to be a flat announcement that the saved were home before they started. Grace has to be drunk straight: no water, no ice, and certainly no ginger ale; neither goodness, nor badness, nor the flowers that bloom in the spring of super spirituality could be allowed to enter into the case."
I'm always asking about who I find preaching full free gospel that is freely free and truth sets free. It is For freedom we have been set free. And his plan from before the ages bow revealed to His Sons n Daughters on earth. Meek inherited..His joy to give us now. 🙌 because it's been ours from beginning. Heard Damon preach it earlier about full revelation of enoch..He loves to be better than Bob Ross making joyful all the supposed mistakes..all lots castvin our laps are of His calling. Not Devils. He came to destroy. And states "now is" the power of darkness cast out." We keep allowing satan to be prince of air. When from the beginning the Genesis in me continually a purity of Holy design. We are called to be in dominion over all the above below ect. And is nature evil? Cursed? No!!! All called to ark. Celestial beings in The Heavenly Man. Good book/story that one . I met him in Portland Oregon.
How about Heidi Baker or Dan Mohler locally. John G Lake . His Ministries now. Todd white and identity in Jesus. Let's all connect. Let's not be an island.
Another FANTASTIC conversation. Thank you both. Bless you. ❤️ Stacy
Pastors instruct and evangelists preach. Judgemental, critical hearts are not allowed in the kingdom. The donation based system of ministry allows for the cream to rise to the top. Gov assistance and preaching to the choir pushes people away.
jalapeño slaw on top of blackened red-fish with a side of dove breasts stuffed with jalapeño's and bacon! You guys talked about some super good stuff, but that is today's takeaway for me.
Hahaha
Each of us individually are God's favorite😊 We witness this in the incarnation of Jesus, in His baptism "This is my beloved (favorite Son) in whom I'm well pleased.

Amazing how he still uses imposters to get his message out
Explain...
@andrewfuller7942 things and people are not ways who they "present" themselves to be. Knowing who people are once they are off the stage, especially imposters is the worst feeling and the most frustrating thing to watch. Even worse, the people who get sucked into there teaching

“What does it mean for humanity?” Nothing. It’s irrelevant. The church is no better it’s on its way out.
Could you explain why alternative orthodoxies like this are just as bad and why the church is on its way out?
@@MelodeeHansen because they’re extremely manipulative. EXTREMELY MANIPULATIVE.
@ it’s one thing to be interested in say entertainment (film) as I am. Some people call that a cult following but as I don’t follow people or films per say I pick something randomly and if it’s entertaining than great. But to follow an idea such as a supernatural being that’s entirely a cult a sick twisted manipulative mental cult as it tries to penetrate your psyche. Anyone willing to let anyone drill them has nothing to share with anyone other than more drilling. It’s ignorant. People go across seas for example to spread the ‘word of god’ and I think to myself who the fk do these people think they are infiltrating others childrens minds. It’s pathetic. It’s extremely egoic it’s extremely toxic. And oh I know they tell themselves they’re trying ‘to make the world a better place’ but who the fk are they to say what’s better for anyone. Leave people the fk alone let them figure out life themselves. Because there’s no fkn way higher ignorance has it right.
@ Jesus’ “sacrifice” was NOT a “sacrifice.” He did NOT “sacrifice” himself for all of humanity. What’s “more important or worthy” today, that’s the definition of “sacrifice.” So what is it today that’s more important, since sacrifices are made for the future. Who fkn decides that. See the problem. Who the fk was he to decide that for you. Or who the fk was Pilot to make him a scapegoat. Or who the fk was the people to decide that for the west etc So did Jesus solve anything, no. That is so extremely egoic of the time it’s common sense. “Human sacrifice” is ancient it has nothing to do with problem solving. Oh sure it serves a hierarchy, but it benefits no one. When a fireman goes into a fire to save a child-THAT’S a “sacrifice.” It has immediate result. When it’s politics, THAT’S NOT a result. Religion is nothing but a poliTICK.
@@MelodeeHansen do you know what I recognize about “belief” it is STUBBORN. I have literally watched the stubbornness of men support their “belief” while neglecting ALL OF LIFE. I have literally seen stubborn men DIE for their “belief” while their families are a complete and royal fkn mess. So yes, Jesus “HAD to die” FOR HIS FOLLOWERS because PRIDE REFUSES to acknowledge its errors. And guess what JESUS HELD ONTO HIS PRIDE. HE CHOSE THAT INSTEAD. FOR A FKN POLITICK. NOT family. There WAS NO WAY JESUS was going to admit that he was a fkn liar. Or NO WAY the church wasn’t going to take it and use it and push it as LITERAL (if that’s not what Jesus was saying at the time since words can be nothing but poetic nonsense). SO MANY MEN UNDERMINDED SINCE. My family history was a fkn cult that had extreme ideologies about that literal fkn nonsense and neglected their families because of it the children a total fkn psychological warfare MESS and their father? DIED WITH HIS PRIDE. Whooptefkndo he preferred to keep his shame NOT SAVE HIS FAMILY. FOOLED. MANIPULATED. Here’s a tidbit for you: DYK that a lot of men are jealous of men who have families, and that they’ll do whatever it takes to destroy that. That’s what CULTS do they indoctrinate them with a belief that kills everyone especially themselves first so that they take it to their death beds to destroy the family unit. How do you think it is that war comes up every so often? Are you naive enough to believe that shite just happens and people just decide that war is the way to solve it? NO. It’s TO INFILTRATE THE MIND. War fucks with the psychological and that fks with generations and in order to fk with the generations it has to ensure it fks with the psyche.
“Why?” He was up against an established narcissist whereas he was only a wandering one that’s why. He was made an example of the same old same old story in which power plays play out
I came from the 'old' scaffolding of the traditional protestant modern church teaching which I finally found abhorent, to the rethinking God with Tacos group, and I like it better, it's all about grace and love of God and Christ, but I'm finding that it could just be another scaffolding to hang onto, another series of propositions that I have to keep rehearsing. What do you think?
@ I think anything with god and tacos combined is just a bigger lie lol
@ don’t you find it peculiar that the “relationship” with Christ comes about. He’s fkn dead. You can’t have a “relationship” with a dead person in the same way you can’t have a relationship with a robot or a scammer overseas lol
@ and don’t you also find it peculiar that the story of Noah’s Ark wasn’t actually from the Bible it was stolen (appropriated, which is where capitalism comes in) from the Mesopotamia era AND NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THAT APPROPRIATION. It’s fkn disgusting what the church gets away with it’s fkn spoiled rotten
@@MelodeeHansen look at it this way the realistic way: Jesus was a carpenter who never built a home and had a family. Instead, he chose to be a salesman. Look around you today… the western world was infiltrated that way. And nobody has a fkn clue. A self reliant man is a far richer life than Jesus would ever empower. It’s not a coincidence it’s the big picture everyone refuses to see. He wasn’t about freedom he was about enslavement. He just didn’t know it. He was naive. But the churches sure fkn did. Any maybe he really did too it doesn’t matter he wasn’t a leader at all. He was a man from a time just as self-absorbed. Albert Einstein is quoted as saying imagination is the greatest thing of all. THAT MAN WAS A FOOL.
Amazing truth revealed that sets us free free from wrong theology and perception of an angry God. It’s truly liberating to know that we are not hidden in Christ because Christ is trying to keep us safe from an angry Father. I came to the realisation of this truth in 2018 when God restored me back into fellowship with Him. Great revelation, thank you for your wisdom.
This is so true: our behavior comes from our perceived identity. You both are such a blessing!
Great point! What shocks me about my life, relationship with Jesus or answered prayers reveals my faith levels!

When people fail to maintain a high view of Scripture, our "practice" devolves into new age falsehood. Very dangerous. "Unteaching" people who previously have had exposure to faith entails unteaching them the inerrancy of Scripture. I appreciate the struggle here - a professional psychologist who needs "tools" to treat his patients which are necessarily inclusive; but just like not every patient is going to respond to therapy, the fact of the matter is that not every person responds to the true biblical Gospel. Scripture reminds us throughout that a real antithesis exists; as painful as this antithesis is, it is a denial of reality to attempt to "get around" it. Any denial of the antithesis necessarily denies truth of Scripture.
