Feels over finds
Mmmmm…vibes. I think “Feels over finds” might be the new channel slogan
His friend says, "I got an art degree." Then it gets quiet. I have an art degree as well. I feel that silence in my soul. All my best to my fellow art degree holder.

Such a calming video. Love seeing the genuineness of people just hanging out and having fun!
Thanks my friend! Best to you and yours :)
So cool seeing Callis on the show!
Also, another plug for Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. You gotta play it, Mort!
It’s on the list, it’s on the list!
Imagine giving Jim Carrey ART lessons 🤯 that was a fun watch.
Riiiight!?
Great video with great editing man! The transition at 1:52 was great dude! The desert haha to begin with but some great pick ups. Seems like the masks are easy as heck to use eh? Your friend seems really cool and comfortable on camera. Awesome art he does and lucky as hell to get to teach literally one of the funniest guys alive.
Talking about nostalgia, I can remember a time where my sister and I rewatched the asylum pink tutu scene from ace ventura like 30 times in a row on VHS when it came out. Now I have a VHS copy of the movie in a blockbuster rental case for my collection.
If I ever get cancer and become a child again my make a wish would be to have a dinner with Jim Carrey. lol
The way that AI is making editing even easier than it was before is frankly mind blowing. It is very exciting to see what can be done, especially if this is how easy it is this early on. I wonder how things will progress as episodes continue on? I always see my game hunting episodes as the best places to experiment with new ideas which is why I enjoy making them so much.
Hey Mort,I just began to watch this episode, looks entertaining as always. A snow day here,a day off from work. May you and your family have a great day. Happy holidays. 👍🤘🙏🌲
Glad you’re watching - stay safe out there Wayne!
Thanks,Mort! I really appreciate your kind words. We Vermonters are a tough bunch, but glad I had a day off. Doesn't help the paycheck but stayed safe and home. Bless you, your friends, family, the entire squad and their families. Needing positive thoughts sent east ASAP. Without channels like yours, life would be more depressing. Bless you.🤘🕹🎮🤓
What a fun video, I love how chill this one felt. Looked like a really nice hang out at the swap. Great work!
Thanks man! Excited to have you on when you visit!
The question "do you ever buy anything just so you get that rush" was really interesting. I feel like not buying something is the more important part of collecting.
But like you said, it's your money, do what you want with it.
Man - totally agree with this!! Restraint is so huge…I also recognize I’m saying this in front of a wall of games, but still haha
@@MortsGarage but not a wall of Sneak Kings
You have a point
Dropping in to say great video again pal. Nostalgia is the best, the feeling I get when watching your vids and others, seeing things that give me a memory download of something I had when I was a kid. Priceless! And finding something out in the wild. Just gotta love it. 🤜🔥🤛
Indeed Steve! Cheers to you 🤘👊
Mort, I've been away from my usual videos on YT and just now getting to this one... very refreshing for me. Thank you, sir.
Glad you’re able to see it!
Your buddy’s art look amazing and the cool fact that he got to work/ teach Jim Carey . The hunt at the swap was still great to see. Every trip isn’t Goldmine game days. Have an amazing week Mort 🤟🏼
You too amigo - appreciate the comment as ever!
To borrow from the incomparable Christopher Nolan “nostalgia is a term used to dismiss someone’s passion” so to your point about buying that memory or feeling is spot on.
I’ve been slowly buying up stuff from my childhood and adolescence to regain that sense of passion. These were clearly things that hold a special place in my soul and that really hasn’t faded as I’m pushing closer to 40. Love what you love, enjoy it how you want to, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Christopher Nolan quoting is ALWAYS permitted here on the channel. Cheers ✌️
I liked the vibe of this video. The vibes always good but combined with cj it's even better 🎉
CJ is always there in spirit
Mort, always fun to go with you on your journeys through the swap meets with these videos. Seemed like a really fun day even if there weren’t any epic finds.
Twas indeed :) Thanks for checking it out!
Mort delivers even if the hunt doesn't! Thanks for the content, the edits are great and thanks for letting us in the garage!
Also, Hail Lord Sluggo!
We salute thee now and forever, Lord Sluggo
This was a really great video! I'm still friends with a lot of my college roommates as well. Something about that period in your life is really good for building lasting relationships.
It must be all of the stress 😂
Haha - possibly! Though I think finding and keeping friends gets more challenging as time progresses.
Wow that silver PS2 was a great find. It’s hard to find stuff like that. Keep up the great content, MattsGarage
Thank you!
Always a good time watching your video's Mort even if you didn't find much. Fellow believer here. Fun time learning about you and Ryan.
Cheers man!
I think it's awesome to have biblical studies in your sleeve. Man Jim Carrey was my favorite comedic actor
Thanks man!
“Pile of Limbs” shall be the name of my new grindcore band
Having time with a really good friend from years back or few and far in between. Thanks for the share!
Our pleasure :)
this intro always brings a little joy to my heart when you use it.
😊❤️
Great video mort!
Thank you so much!!
Bizarre Creations! I got it finally 😅
You’re always a step ahead on the puns my man
If Pile of Limbs is NOT a heavy metal band name I don't want to be here anymore
THANK YOU🤘
Depending on the price, I would have bought that pile of limbs. But then again I like horror and Halloween........annnnnnd I'm a weird dude.
You’re definitely in the right place and welcome here ❤️✌️
Ended up doing a pick up the other day, small towns usually are my favorite places to hunt. 😊
Rad! What’s you get?
I feel like most collectors go through the buy buy buy phase then after time learns to collect what you can actually use or play. At least my was my own experience.
TOTALLY agree
Mort the theme song always puts a smile on my face.
😊
Let’s get weird let’s get weird let’s get weird
💂🏼♂️
LB hat!! This guy has good taste.. Mort on the other hand...
How dare you.
Also, this assessment is accurate
It would be awesome to get Jim Carey in the garage!
🤷♂️
Morty Mort!! 🤓🤙🏻
LOPEZZZZZ!!
Nice pickups!
Cheers Edwin!
08:34 For me, it's like buying the memory. I use emulators, and still have the same good feels I had as a kid... Buying these games NOW as an adult? I'm unlocking old memories by seeing them, and buying them to keep and remember forever once purchased.
I'm stoned as fuck, so this might not make sense lmao
It makes sense :) Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
@@MortsGarage Of course!
Great grab on the PS2! Another great video Mort
Thanks Johnny :)
Mort just to let you know.. even if you don't find anything, I still enjoy the videos.
Thank you for saying so!
I've had my PS3 phat since release, and it has always worked perfectly 🤩 I feel blessed
Sorcery!!
Good times + Good finds !
Feels over finds baybeeeee
Hey Mort i have the Harlem Globe Trotters world tour cib and cib sealed for the GBA and i played it, well you will see, ok ok for me i did not like it (i did see the Globe Trotters back in '68 out here (NY), anyway if you want me to send you a pic of the cib globe trotter game (gba) let me know, and also have a calm yet awesome day.
That’s awesome! I’m not really looking too hard for the box and manual for the DS version, but I appreciate you reaching out. Have an awesome day as well!
EVERYONE, especially you Mort. Do find and play lufia on the DS if you have not already.
🤔🫡
My ps3 slim blue ray went out yrs ago still haven’t got it fixed tho 😅
Get another slim!
I was done with Retro swap meet game collecting videos about 5yrs ago. Prices were starting to get ridiculous and there was an oversaturation of channels that all expoused the same values - "oh wow, insert random jrpg here, that's a great game, oh wow, insert late cycle action platformer here".
When for myself, I like the games I like - they might be sports games, trashy shooters or anything else. I see "top ten games" lists and they're practically all the same - which is obvious bxllxcks! There's just no way that all those people liked and had the same experiences (to the letter), with all those games - especially as the reason those games became expensive "must haves", is because hardly anyone played them in the first place.
All that is to say that I'm enjoying your vids and it doesn't seem that you ascribe to those "norms".
Cheers mate 🎉
This comment made my day - it means so much that you’d go out of your way to say it. Cheers to you as well!
Loved this one. Great job
Thanks for watching!
Ryan should just come clean and admit that he is Elvis Costello.
Crap...my secret hath been discovered!!
Interesting I alwasys face issues with the lasers of PS3 slims so that they can not read any Blu Rays :/
Interesting indeed - slims work for me 9/10 times
Giggidy
😂😊
I came for the unfortunate mediocre hunt, friendship, cool art and Ryan's amazing filming skills but what keeps me coming back is a pile of limbs!
LIMBS YOU SAY?! lemme get a leg…..then another leg…maybe a hand? 👀
Am I allowed to giggle at this joke, or does that make me a bad person?
@@MortsGarage giggle away my dude.
Why don't you always play the intro song. It is my only reason to live 😋
Why have you never mentioned that you were Andy Dick's roommate?!?!
Hahaha
YOOO Same, I have the Biblical Studies degree too!
😊✌️👊
I need another ps3 both my slims stopped working after a couple years still got a box of games for ps3. Someday ill find another one at a decent price
Best of luck - it's a fantastic console.
maybe he was being artistic by putting his finger in front of the camera? you know, the good ol’ swap meet art film. nah, move your finger bro.
You’re onto something
Somehow I knew you had a Bible degree.
Hahaha
Yes, it's dead...mostly because of "Scumbag" Game Store such as mine ;)
Well, then I blame you for this crisis
@@MortsGarage Blame accepted :) Great video Mort, as always. Cheers
Haha - CHEERS!
Bro.
