Well she barely knew her. She just knows they went to school together but they weren’t friends due to Carly’s wish. Plus, it also breaks my heart that she said that no one ever visits her, not even her mom nor her twin sister Melanie. Carly in her life made Sam a better and caring person than her life without her.

This is a really heart wrenching scene but imagine how confused everyone was when she was yelling about this stuff that they knew nothing about. And how poor Nevel felt when his girlfriend said she wanted him to leave the country.
I actually wish we saw more about how Carly and Nevel got together in this world and explore their relationship abit more.

Miranda Cosgrove really nailed it in this scene. Probably her best acted one. You really feel for Carly.
I think what gets me the most is what she says about Freddie. "I want you to be my friend, and saying 5 4 3 2, but not the 1, which I never understood, but I liked it!" It shows that she does really care about Freddie, probably more then most people do, and really values their friendship. Not to mention how she hugs Freddie was different to how she hugged Sam. When everything was back to normal, she just kind of "rammed" him, and lingered for a bit.
I kind of want to know what happened between the two that lead Freddie to have a crush on her in the first place. Maybe something deeper there happened.
I think it’s probably because from what we’ve seen Carly seemed to be the nicest person that was ever a part of Freddie’s life

Is it weird that when I was 12 I watched it and didn’t feel anything but now that I’m 23 and I’ve been in the same position Carly was at one point i understood how much you want things to go back to the way they were after something bad happens. I actually cried when she hugged Freddie and Sam

this is one of those moments that really teaches us to be grateful for what we have and it really pains me at how carly just cried and was begging for what she really loved and that i am happy everything got back to normal which made me smile at how she got really thankful hugging Spencer and keeping the tree she loves
