I used to play rummy with my grandma growing up and she used to shuffle like this. I didn't get a chance to ask her to teach me how to do it. Just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful done tutorial. 💗

The joint on my pointer finger really hurts when I do the step at 3:37. Is there a way to position it so it doesn’t hurt?

If you're like me and know how to riffle shuffle but just can't get the bridge to work, 7:30 . It's just about holding the deck together with your thumbs, apparently (I haven't tried this yet because I don't have cards on me).

I've always appreciated your channel and its good to see you back. But I can't help but notice many of your new videos are reshoots of moves you already covered a good amount of years ago. I'm guessing this is maybe to get the channel moving again with you UA-cam algorithm which I can understand.

@Hobbyist Magician Asad said that he realizes that he's speaking to a new wave of students now, too, and wants to make sure to recover some of the basics so that the beginners that are here now know where to start. Hope that's helpful!

Hey, could you do a card control tutorial about the Riffle Shuffle Control, Daryl style ? That's the one Daryl uses at the very beginning of his Ambitious Card routine (the one where he wears a red shirt), he does two Riffle Shuffles but somehow manages to keep the card in the third position from the top. I've been trying to do it for months now, that'd be an awesome video !

Riffle shuffle card controls are easy, all you do is place selected card on top of one of the packets, normally by placing it in the Center of the deck with a pinky break, then ruffle the packs together making sure that your selected card finishes on top

@@alexbevan2183 Yes I know but look in this video, at about 1:10 ! ua-cam.com/video/w4iu5FMaR2o/v-deo.html He picks up the card and makes it look like he puts it in the middle of the deck but in fact he controls it and manages to have it on third position from the top after two shuffles. I understand what he is doing but an in depth tutorial would be nice to really see how to execute the move correctly !

Wait this is the shuffle? I learned this from my grandpa when I was 5. I thought it was just how you shuffled cards. Thanks for letting me know I was doing something not common.
Not trying to brag or flex. I just thought I was doing something normal. Something that everyone could do. Glad to see my grandpa could teach me something that is unique after a pulp mill took a full finger and the tip of two others from his right hand. Maybe he knew more tricks but he died by the time I was 10 and we only visited once a year for Christmas.
