[HD] 75 YEARS OF TROLLEYBUSES IN VANCOUVER - Brill T44/T48 Charters

Hello, and welcome back to the channel!
This the long-awaited video of the Brill Charters in downtown Vancouver that took place on August 16, 2023.
To celebrate 75 years of trolleybus service in Vancouver, the Transit Museum Society brought out two of their Brill trolleybuses to give free rides within the downtown core. The ride video is taken onboard T48A #2416, which was built in 1954. It was among the last buses off the production line at Canadian Car & Foundry's plant in Fort William, Ontario. This bus retired in 1984 as newer Flyer E800/E900 models started being introduced in time for EXPO 86.
The turnout at the event was exceptional. The celebration also included limited-edition Compass "Trolleybuses". A few thousand were up for sale that morning at the Compass Card Offices inside Waterfront Station. The temperature was supposed to reach 33 degrees celsius on the humidex but in reality it never reached higher than 28.
ROUTING: From Seymour at Cordova, we go from Cordova, Richards, Pender, Burrard, Davie, and Seymour back to Waterfront Station.
Since the system's inception on August 16, 1947, trolleybuses have been providing the city of Vancouver with a clean, carbon-free form of transportation powered by renewable hydroelectricity.

La CDMX tuvo de éstos trolebuses hace algunos ayeres y circulaban junto con los de la Marmon - Herrington, los de MASA, New Flyer y los de la Mitsubishi, de éstos circulaban por los ejes viales

I know this not related to the video but I just read of the buzzer that Translink was testing new Mark V’s skytrain cars in Kingston Ontario and I read that it will replace the Mark 1 trains by the end of 2027 this is for the Expo and millennium line extensions these trains are 5 cars long and keep in mind that the numbering goes from hundreds to thousand 6011 was the car number
