This is the kinda topic I love, whenever you guys can pull from your library and just have a chill discussion about the history of parts with some personal anecdotes thrown in. Great stuff, and just want to say you've done an awesome job establishing the channel over time!
I’ve always seen people talk about how easily chrome chips off but I’ve never had that problem and I’ve got quite a bit of it. Even my Rock Raiders drills have got dents but no chipping
If I may suggest, when you show a piece from a set and then refer to that set, show a picture of the set (from Brinklink?), circle the part, and give the LEGO set number. (Hope that isn't too much post production)
That exo force wheel appeared in black in a Bionicle set iirc. Also the white axel is from Bionicle set Gahdok and Cahdok and was used through out that set.
Great vid. 👍I a Few munths late Waching it add .great part s .you s pick to talk about ..knowing Lego. Thay probly makeing part s. And. Public s. Not Sean them. Untill. Thay show us ....
And that was part of the concept back then: Lego tried to make the building process as fast as possible with reducing the part count at all cost. While these space ships at least had some other (small) pieces, some sets were almost only this stuff. Take that mast for example: While the one in tan actually comes from the Vikings Ship, the mold was in fact made for the Jack Stone pirate ship. And that thing is insane: 141 pieces, out of which every THIRD only comes in this set. And that beast is much bigger (22 studs wide!) than a traditional Lego pirates ship (16 wide).
I recognised the tan ships mast instantly, as I have the viking ship set that it came in (not Jack stone). Love your vids, but please fact check - does not take long to make sure you are not spreading misinformation!
however that piece was developed for Jack Stone a year earlier. And while Vikings used a lot of Bionicle parts (especially for the dragons), this is the only part I've seen "from the other end".

Thank you so much!
When you say "rare Lego pieces" you really mean it!!! Amazing pieces there, I loved the heart one.
Keep the good job guys. Chris, you are amazing!!!
Thank you!
The Smaug chrome display was 2017. I just found my picture of it.
I love adults admiring small and expensive pieces of plastic.
Great talk guys! Wish you luck :)
Cool video. Love seeing stuff like this!
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!

That does add to the post production time, but at the same time, I think people would really appreciate it. Thanks for the suggestion!
Old video, but great to see, the cypress tree came in a jousting set in 1978or9

Wait a sec, i have that tan barrel from that Indiana Jones set, i always thought it was fairly common.
No, it was only produce in a single set! That’s awesome that you have one!
Unique parts from the Designer series interest me at the moment, I'm guessing its variation colours of normal parts?
LOL I have the galidor arms and three legs that I got from bulk LEGO off Ebay. I only had 3 legs so I always assumed one leg was missing 😂
Loved the panda 🐼 talk lol
We were joking, of course. Who doesn't love pandas?
The tan mast came in the viking ship set
Around 1:00:00 , so that’s probably why there are so many of those alien light up things at brick fairs.
Probably...

What’s the name of that Bricklink store with the misprinted Minifigs in Washington?
We’ll check with Chris. It was a long time ago, so he may not remember.
@@atlbrickco thx for the quick reply
I think I got the heart piece from the Republic Frigate.
Ooohhhhh
@@atlbrickco It came with republic red 1x1 rounds and some had printing despite the manual showing no printing.
What about the turquoise pieces
Chrome is a plating technic, you will never find any solid chrome in the world, thats why the the bricks are having another color underneath
Mark's name tag look pretty great..... i wonder who made it?!?
Some cool guy...
The snail 🐌 part s I have one from a set it's duplo looking set 6161 +4 set ..
I'm glad those big parts are rare and not made anymore. 8 pieces for an alien space ship? That's a modular toy, not Lego.
Very true!
