I've been doing this for about 3.5 years now, started right at the beginning of the pandemic. I have a lot of lessons learned snd subsequently amendments to my contract(s). The only thing i need is more equipment honestly, akways.
Proven, enjoy the channel and congrats on your growth! Would like to see more of the day in the life videos, tractor operations, on/off the trailers, heading to customer sites, etc.! Awesome stuff.
Looking to buy a few pieces of equipment to rent out in Utah and your channel is perfect timing. Had a few questions. * Do you think buying new or used is better? * Do you charge for fuel or is that included in the price? * Do you charge for delivery? * How much competition is in your area? * What size trailer(s) do you recommend? * Do you price below the big names? United, sunbelt, aherns, etc. * Whats your best or favorite form of advertising? * Do equipment dealers have any good insight on the rental industry (are they worth talking to about it) * Any future plans to have booking available on your website to help with automation, payment & contracts?
Lots of really great questions! We've definitely been thinking about ways to streamline things and making them more automated. Add us on our Patreon channel, let's chat more.
We want all types of content!!! And I will definitely be getting that Patreon when the time comes for me to get in this business. Love you guys vids keep going💪🏾
Great videos. Have always been interested renting out my equipment. I currently buy/sell tractors on the side (only about 1 a month) but it would be nice to rent stuff out as well. Keep up the good work
Curious how your F250 holds up w/ the trailer and skid steer. I've been contemplating this for a while If the F250 (or 2500 comparable trucks) do well enough or is it right on that edge where you really need the f350 ( or 3500 comparible truck) to haul. I guess an easier way to say this is do you wish you had F350 often or does the F250 get the job done and works for you. I just put my house up for sale in Clearwater and building up in Crystal River I feel there is a lot of opportunity up there for trailer/ equipment rentals with the growth going on in the rural areas now as well as where I'm building. Congrats on all your continued success and hope to see more videos of you and your team growing even more!!
The F250 does very well towing! Having a good trailer / breaks really helps as well. I love my Ford but recently towed some my stuff with a 23' 2500 Duramax and wow... I was super impressed
@@SkywayEquipment Thanks, great info to know! probably my biggest concern is diesel trucks and their whole def/dpf emissions garbage... Everything I've ever owned has been gas, never diesel and all that stuff sounds like an absolute nightmare to deal with. I'm all for deletes but I'm not all for the EPA fines or anything associated with that if something should happen.....
