The thing I love about your videos is that you truly know your stuff, and you demystify the supplies and the processes which makes me feel less intimidated to try anything! I've been an artist and taught specific mediums on and off for twenty five years and it isn't often you find an artist who isn't so full of themselves that they scare off their audience. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Lindsey, for showing how to use the different brushes. I am a beginner and can now see why some of my projects don't turn out as well as I would like. Using the right brush certainly does make a difference . this has helped me so much. Thank you for sharing your art talents.
You've done it again--answered so many of my questions about brushes. Not only do I learn from your videos, I also learn from your answers to different comments. Thank you for a very thorough and informative video.
Boy did I need this video! I'm just getting into painting and this demistified brushes. I'm sure to watch this over and over. Thank you, Lindsay for doing these videos. I always learn a lot
I agree, what I like best is that there is no way to damage the bristles on a brush if you put them in the elastic loops. They can't slip and get bent by bumping against the case. Also they don't vave the caps that can splay the bristels like other travel sets have. And you get 12 brushes in one small case and the easy of a full size brush to paint with. It has been hard not to show you these before, so glad I can now!
This video was in the recommended list while I was watching your previous video. This is another great tutorial!l I watched your video about burning out with card marking. I totally agree, but I would love to see you do these kinds of videos for all different topics. While I really enjoy seeing the creativity of your cards, I think advice on different techniques would fill a niche here on UA-cam. Again thank you for your generous sharing and Happy Holidays!!♡
I ordered this set of brushes, can't wait to get it. I lots and lots of brushes because I have a ceramic shop but these brushes will be only used by ME. Hands off everyone, these are mine.
I really appreciate this tutorial! I am very new to painting, and have been stuck a bit and not sure why. I've learned about loading the brushes a lot in this video and using the correct brush for the subject I'm painting. You also have peaked my interest in watercolors-I had never been interested in them before but honestly, it was because I didn't know how to paint with them. Thank you for your tutorials! :)
Positively fabulous video, Lindsay! Don't have much time today to play with paints, but tomorrow I will gather up my brushes and follow along...so much good information here. I count you as a blessing and a Joy!
I just found this tutorial today! You explained the various brushes and their uses so well! I enjoyed learning new ways to use my brushes! Thank you for another wonderful video.
Thank you, thank you so much. I am really glad to learn what the different brushes are for. I am learning watercolor and had only the round brush and was trying to do everything with one brush. So I will save this video to learn and practice on.
I want to thank you so much for doing this video. I am so much more knowledgeable about the different brushes now. I have been inspired to experiment with my brushes and practice my watercoloring techniques.
It's interesting to me how I need periodic reminders of just the basics. (sad too but not gonna dwell on that.) Was motivated to watch this because lately I've been curious about the purpose of the flat angled brush. Re-learned some other things in process, THANKS Lindsay!! 💖💖💖
Another excellent video. I learn so much from you I just received the phoenix 48 watercolor paints and a watercolor journal. Now I need more brushes so this video was extremely helpful. Can’t thank you enough for recommending the book all you need to know about watercolor I was lucky enough to find a used copy on Amazon for $8.00. I look forward to all your videos you brighten my day.
Thanks so much Lindsey. Ordered these brushes before the video was finished. Love anything "travel size". I have interchangeable knitting needles by fabart and love them . The are great for travel too.
Hi Lindsay, thanks for your tutorial on brushes it is so useful. I love the travel case, it's so compact and easy to transport. I paint in my lunch break at work and sometime struggle with transportation ! this would solve that issue. Thanks again Lou xx
Lindsay, once again you nailed it! I've always wanted to know about the different brushes and what they should/can be used for. Thank you for another great video.
I really like this set. I know as far as the little tool on my tunisian crochet hooks they are interchangeable and if you don't use that little tool to tighten real well it will come loose. I can't see how it would with a paint brush but maybe the more you use them they will. If you have had them for a year then I guess not. Thank you for your explanation on all the brushes. I have never used a cat tongue but still trying to get my feet wet with watercolors. TFS! You are such a great teacher.
TRy a cat's tongue if you get a chance, it is such a useful brush in watercolor, you can easily do a while painting with it yet not lack for versatility. I have several in different sizes.
Love this brush set. i understand why it sold out so quick. I will be watching Amazon for it to be restocked- and crossing my fingers and toes for your giveaway!
I am glad you are showing that travel brush set! I've been looking for a good set to take with me, and I do like to have a variety of types! I just put my order in and can't wait to try them! Thanks, Lindsay!!
re Cat's Tongue /Pointed Filbert brush - although not normally great for acrylics as you mentioned Lindsay, I thought acrylic painters might find it useful to know that since this video was made, there is a new Cat's Tongue brush on the market, with stronger bristles for acrylic paints. It's designed by The Art Sherpa Cinnamon Cooney & made by Silver Brush Co. Hope that helps somebody :)
Thank you. You answered all my brush questions, some I didn't even know I had. It looks like a great set too. The case would protect the brushes so it's a safe investment.
Sorry Lindsay this brush set is no longer available. Out of stock at all outlets and have no idea when they will be back in stock. I was looking forward in adding them in my travel case.
For almost all of my paintings I use just a round brush (10) and an angled brush (1/4) and oh my lord they're amazing, I can do just about anything with them! 10/10 recommend those two if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a bunch of different brushes but you still want the versatility of a bunch of different brushes (also it's so much easier to only have two brushes to clean) :D
Wonderful video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge... maybe you could do a whole series of "demystifying". Papers, other tools, paint additives, etc.
Wow...that was so informative. I never really understood the "bright" for brushes...you cleared that up beautifully...thanks for sharing....such a fan of your channel.
This was immensely helpful! I especially appreciated learning the alternate names. I was confused by brushes that looked similar but had different names and wonder how they differed.
thanks Cynthia! And now that you can see what these shapes are used fore you can probably guess what other brushes do and save time and money in picking the right ones:)
If you paint only woth watercolorpencils then acrylic brishes are easier to wet all pigment layed down with the pencil. But carefull as those brushes tend to be more stiff and with rough use the paper can get damaged
You've been turning me on to bigger rounds lately. I've been using the value set of Mimik from Jerry's! Loving the bigger rounds in the set. Have a nice monday, Lindsay.
I only recently learned a Filbert which is about 2x longer is called an Egbert which I thought was a cute pun but turns out it means "bright sword" in Old German whereas Filbert is older (but not Old) English for "hazelnut" and have no linguistic relation in terms of being brush names really. I would see an Oval Wash as distinct from a Filbert - usually not as sharp an edge and more like a broad edge around the curve.
That's right, I have never used them, I think it would make for a really soft unruly brush esp since the filbert shape is good for thicker paints. I guess maybe for a really soft touch when blending oil portraits it would be useful in larger areas.
thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich That sounds more like an Oval Wash - a Filbert has a very sharp edge and is great for following fine lines and getting into sharp corners as well as filling large areas. I use them often, alongside Rounds, as my main brushes.
+The Spin Doctor that's true, in watercolor the oval tipped brushes tend to be puffier and thirsty but sometimes will come to a point more like a round or quill but for oil and acrylics the oval tipped brushes are referred to as filbert and while the edge can come to a sharp edge the rounded tip makes it ideal for blending portraits or filling in rounded objects like flower petals easily with fewer brush strokes. I probably should have made more of a distinction:) thanks for mentioning it;)
+The Spin Doctor and then there are mops which are like extra fluffy oval washes but I don't like them because they seem to shed. They remind me if a makeup brush. I feel like I need a Venn diagram because some similar shaped brushes have different uses. I have a Maxine's mop which is the best scrubber for lifting watercolor (not how I'd use a mop brush but note like a household mop lol)
thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich I have about 4 mops - and never use them. Well, I use squirrel mops but they're just a glorified Round. The mops I don't use tend to be goat hair which sheds if washed in warm water so if you wash them in v cold water they should behave better...but I don't use them because I can't work out what they're for that I can't achieve with another brush. They are handy for ink-blending methods though!
Thank you Lindsay! This was interesting and those brushes look very nice! What a nice set to have for travel! Looks like nice variety and nice quality! TFS!
Hi Teresa. I finally made it. I have been bizzy as a bee. Hope you are doing well. I have finished my cards and little journals and am now starting to decorate the house. I am late this year. Usually the day after Halloween the tree goes up. LOL!
Hi Dia!!! : ) So happy to hear from you! I figured you were busy!! Even told myself not to give it a thought because you were busy with things related to holidays but I am so pleased you took time to post! Hope you've been able to watch Lindsay's videos still! You know they're always a joy to watch! I told her the phrase you wrote me about see you next time-same frugal time-same frugal channel! Said it a couple times (listing your credit, of course!). I'm hoping the people who read her posts start using it! It's such a cute and clever saying I hope they read it and where it came from and chime in! I just think you have such a quick mind and I love the funny lines you come up with! I probably should've asked you before I put it on a post-huh? I'm sorry-I hope you are as excited as I am about it! Ok-enough about that. Sounds like you've done a great job at getting ready for Chrisfmas! Congratulations!! I always say I'm going to do early and then playing catch up. :( Probably won't be posting as much this coming week but I'll still watch Lindsay and watch for you. I don't know if you celebrate thanksgiving but if you do or not I hope you will have a great rest of the week and weekend! Later my friend! Same Frugal Time, Same Frugal Channel!! :)
This is such a useful video! I actually bought a cats tongue Princeton Neptune brush some time ago, it's my first cats tongue brush and I thought it would have a point but when it gets wet it turns into a filbert which is still great but disappointing and until I saw this video I thought maybe all cats tongue were like that! Next time I think I'll buy one in a shop where I can try it first, that looks like a super great brush to have!
Thank you so much I'm a newbie and I've learned sooooo much that will help me a lot just starting out I was finding it difficult to pick the right brush for what I was trying to do....and it makes it frustrating but NOW I feel so informed can't wait to start my next pic!!!🙂thx so much awesome video I watch you all the time and have tried one of your pic...your my teacher lol lol
Love the video tips! This looks like a really nice brush set! I don't paint with oils.. Did a little when I was younger but my favorite is acrylics! I am getting a bit more into the watercolors now! I use to hate them but like them now! Did you say that you can use the same brushes for the acrylics & watercolors? I thought I had to keep separate brushes for them! If I can use the same brushes that makes it so much easier for buying brushes now!
It won't hurt your acrylic brushes to use them for watercolors but acrylic brushes eventually need to be replaced unless you are extremely good about caring for them while watercolor brushes kept for watercolor can last a lifetime
I am good about cleaning them and I don't leave them in water except when I am using them! I take very good care of all of my art supplies and clean everything as soon as I have finished using it! I can't afford to replace items so I have to be picky about cleaning my things! Thank you for letting me know :)
I'd love to see a written list of brushes you'd recommend for people in the UK. Subtitles don't always work and for ages I thought you were saying Engram instead of M Graham! By the way this is NOT a complaint it's why they say we are two nations separated by a single language! I'm also very hard of hearing which doesn't help. Thanks for explaining these. I love the look of a cat's tongue brush.
Hey Lindsay! Can you recommend the size of flat and angled brushes for 32k watercolor painting. I am consider buying flat and angled brushes, but I can't decide which size I should buy. Only for small paintings. Thank you for your help! LOVE YOU!!
Wow thats a brillaint set of brushes, I had never seen a set like that before, where you can change the heads, thank you once again for a great learning tutorial.
What a good video Lindsay. The art store can be a very confusing place for the new painter. Pssst, the dagger is also a wonderful brush for ribbons. :>)
Great video Lindsay! 😆 Damn it Lindsay, you are my enabler...lmbo! 😂 I bought 2 of these sets before the video was 5 minutes in. 1 for me and the 2nd one for hubby's xmas stocking stuffer. Since I will be using these for watercolors, I will trade hubby his cat tongue for my bright. He will probably be using these for acrylics though he may try them with oil glazes, who knows. 😉 These will be easy for him to carry to painting class. Now I have to be good and not give them to him early...lol. 😆 I uploaded my gourd video, but realized I saved it wrong, so I deleted that video and I am re-saving it correctly. I hope to have it up in an hour. 😤 It only took me 5 days to edit it with 16 of the 35 video files being used...ugh!
Marsha Cook If you click on the link in the description it takes you to an amazon page. For me, these brushes were 3rd down on the list. It should say something like "fabart interchangeable 15 piece brush set". This is for the USA amazon...if you are out of country you will have to search the name. I hope this helps. 😆
Marsha Cook They do have a regular set that aren't interchangeable, but are the same brushes as the travel set for the same price. Those are the 1st ones on the list from Lindsay's link. (Fabart 12 Piece Artist Paint Brush Set - Round, Flat, Comb, Dagger, Deerfoot, Angular, Filbert, Rake)
Hi I just wanted you to know that I didn't mean to enter to win these brushes twice. My husband and I both tried to leave a comment saying which ones I wanted if I win, but we didn't see either of them post. I didn't want you to think I was stacking the deck in my favor. Thank you, I learn so much from you!!!!!
Thanks Lynsay, I can now give names and purpose to around half the unused brushes that reside in my brush box.. Most have lived there since being removed from sets I've purchased or been given. I've experimented with some, to see if I can gleam a use for that particular, peculiar, purchase! Lol So Thanks Lynsay, for solving one of the artistic conundrums in my life. =^.,.^= xx Now, if you could do one on all the bottles of stuff you get in paint kits and boxes, I've one that came in a posh box of Acrylic paints, that says you must use outside, and to avoid breathing in the fumes!! That's a glazing agent. Why oh why do they put these bottles of hazardous chemicals in these sets??? And, more importantly, are they actually needed??
fun fact: i wonder if the name of the "bright" brush comes from the german language, where it's pronounced the same and written "breit" and that means broad or wide:)
Two thumbs up Lindsay! Incredibly interesting and informative ... another chapter in "The Lindsay Encyclopedia" LOL! Thanks so much for sharing Lindsay!!!
I think they sold out! I am trying to get hold of the owner of Fabart to see if they have more they can list. The other set of 12 with the 2 toned bristles are wonderful too, I will be showcasing them soon, they alse come in a beautiful case and have the standard short handles.
There are many good brands, for a beginner I recommend the LUKAS studio 12 pan sketcher set (from jerry's artarama) or the Cotman 12 pan sketcher set ($12 on amazon today) , I have seen these both for about $12 so it is a nice way to get started to see if you like it before spending too much money but the paints are also good quality and lightfast meaning they will not fade easily. If you had a bigger budget and you are sure you want to incest is a pricier set I suggest the Mission gold 36 set on amazon ($57) or turner set of 18 at jerry's artarama ($39) but you will also need to buy a palette. The $12 sets come in a palette so you do not need to buy one. Hope it helps
Thank you, it does, btw, the first time I found you on UA-cam was your tutorial of the tulips, I loved it. Here is mine. _lh3.googleusercontent.com/e9cbJaqFJj6Fc789CMLZZDK5EIG1-E0vY8CAtB9wtpMZOYeHap02BJOWkh1mzkKuAYc7ROg1aw_
QUESTION: I just bought the Rare Earth Watercolour Set of 5 Multi Media Brushes from create and craft. Do I have to do anything to them before using them? There are some care instructions on the packet but what is the best way to clean them in your opinion? Thanks, Janet.
I don't know, I've never used that brand. you probably just need to wash out and sizing in the brush and then use them as normal. For watercolor I just rinse them in water unless I feel like they are not clean then wash them with a mild soap like dish soap
I've learned SO much from this video. What really blew my mind was that I now know why my brushes sometimes poof out and don't keep their shape.. even tho I clean them religiously. If I can actually keep my paint from getting up into the ferrule, they may last longer 😂😂 I wanted to ask a quick question... if anyone can answer? She mentioned on one brush with water color that it's ok to let the paint go onto the ferrule because it will wash out.. does this apply to all brushes with water color paint? Thank you so much Lindsay!! 😄
with watercolor you should be fine, any paint getting up there is (or should be) watery, just rinse it well and wipe it and let it dry as usual. If your watercolor brush gets misshapen simply wash it in cool water and baby shampoo, wipe it dry and add more soap to the brush and pull it into shape with your fingers and let dry fully. The next time you use it rinse out the soap and it should be back to normal. If you have acrylic dried in a brush you can soak in it alcohol, then wash with soap and water. If that doesn't do the trick and if the brush is synthetic you can boil water, remove from heat and dip the brush tip in and carefully sculpt into shape. This is a last resort, it is better to take care of brushes in the first place but it happens to the best of us:)
Hi Lindsay I got so excited watching this tutorial/review but I can't find any for sale in the uk. I often find this happens when you inspire me to try different products and I get disappointed :( Thanks though for all you do x

In acrylics you can use the fan for everything including pine trees, waterfalls, grasses. I hardly ever use mine for blending.
The way Fabart has designed these travel brushes is simply genius.
I agree, what I like best is that there is no way to damage the bristles on a brush if you put them in the elastic loops. They can't slip and get bent by bumping against the case. I use the filbert for face painting also. It's awesome for laying down a base.

What a neat idea, very helpful for us beginners! Thank you once again, Lindsay! You're videos are always wonderful! :)

I think you will really like them, I hope you used the 20% off coupon:)
thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich I did use the coupon! Worked like a charm!! :) Thank you for posting it!!
THAT'S the best demo I've ever seen of a controlled wash. Thank you!!
thanks you:)
Love these tutorials! Some very very clever ideas. She thinks out of the box I love this- Great travel ideas too🥰
I would love an update on this set! Maybe some material for a sat chat in the future?

Just practised some controlled washes - great results! Thank you for being so generous in sharing your knowledge.
awesome!
Those small brush heads are a great idea and would be perfect for this beginner! Learn so much from you! Love from a fellow New Englander!
Wonderful video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge... maybe you could do a whole series of "demystifying". Papers, other tools, paint additives, etc.
good idea!
So informative. Thank you for this great video! I love the way you used the flat angle in the tree. Gorgeous!

you have great hair. love it here . thanks for explaining all of these to us!!!!
Just got mine but haven't used it yet. Am excited though since seeing your review.
I think this was very informational. Great job explaining all the uses. Thank once again for sharing .
This was so informative, Lindsay. I learned a lot about brushes *and* technique. Thank you very much!
Great tutorial! I've been out of art school for too long and this was a great refresher!
thanks!
Thank you Lindsay! This was interesting and those brushes look very nice! What a nice set to have for travel! Looks like nice variety and nice quality! TFS!

Yes we are always learning! Sometimes we don't even realize it until after we've learned a lesson! Funny how we are!
Thank you Lindsay. Very informative for us beginners!
Next time I think I'll buy one in a shop where I can try it first, that looks like a super great brush to have!
thank you for such a comprehensive explanation for various brushes.
Oh my stars! This tutorial helped me so much! Thanks Lindsay!
Thanks a lot for this technique video! It just shows how important knowledge about how to use your supplies is!
Two bad we can't still get this set it looks like a pretty cool one😀
Art Sherpa fans will tell you that the cat's tongue is excellent in acrylics especially in a firm synthetic filament
I am honored to be your teacher:)
thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich awe thx I watch and learn from each and everyone of your videos thx for sharing your talent 💐
I'm really a novice here...appreciate all the information ☺
Hey Lindsay! Can you recommend the size of flat and angled brushes for 32k watercolor painting. I am consider buying flat and angled brushes, but I can't decide which size I should buy. Only for small paintings. Thank you for your help! LOVE YOU!!
Wow thats a brillaint set of brushes, I had never seen a set like that before, where you can change the heads, thank you once again for a great learning tutorial.
You are very welcome:)
Jane Mulraney
What a good video Lindsay. The art store can be a very confusing place for the new painter. Pssst, the dagger is also a wonderful brush for ribbons. :>)
Would you use smaller brushes for a small painting, say 5 x 7" and larger brushes for a larger paper, or does it matter? These brushes are nice.
generally yes:)
I uploaded my gourd video, but realized I saved it wrong, so I deleted that video and I am re-saving it correctly. I hope to have it up in an hour. 😤 It only took me 5 days to edit it with 16 of the 35 video files being used...ugh!
Valarie Connell /DrawingWithFire Please tell me where you found the set Lindsay is talking about, thanks.
Marsha Cook If you click on the link in the description it takes you to an amazon page. For me, these brushes were 3rd down on the list. It should say something like "fabart interchangeable 15 piece brush set". This is for the USA amazon...if you are out of country you will have to search the name. I hope this helps. 😆
Marsha Cook Actually I just looked. They are no longer listed on the link page. They may be sold out...sorry. 😞
I have that set too and it is beautiful for watercolor and comes in a lovely case!
Oh, too bad Fabart doesn't seem to be in business anymore. Hope you still like and kept your set.
TFS! I had no idea what you could do with brushes!!!! ❤️
Hi I just wanted you to know that I didn't mean to enter to win these brushes twice. My husband and I both tried to leave a comment saying which ones I wanted if I win, but we didn't see either of them post. I didn't want you to think I was stacking the deck in my favor. Thank you, I learn so much from you!!!!!
no worries, I will toss out the extra one:) I have to manually approve fist time commenters but you will be counted:)
=^.,.^= xx
Now, if you could do one on all the bottles of stuff you get in paint kits and boxes, I've one that came in a posh box of Acrylic paints, that says you must use outside, and to avoid breathing in the fumes!! That's a glazing agent. Why oh why do they put these bottles of hazardous chemicals in these sets??? And, more importantly, are they actually needed??
needed? no, it just effects the paint t make certain techniques easier:)
I hope they will restock. I couldn't find this set anywhere. :'( I badly want one.
Thank you for your video, I learned a lot!
fun fact:
i wonder if the name of the "bright" brush comes from the german language, where it's pronounced the same and written "breit" and that means broad or wide:)
Probably!
i am in Germany, i dont know, what said Google ?
Two thumbs up Lindsay! Incredibly interesting and informative ... another chapter in "The Lindsay Encyclopedia" LOL! Thanks so much for sharing Lindsay!!!
aw, thanks:)
Wow, great information and very clear to understand, will definitely check out those brushes. Tfs xo
i really like those travel brushes very nice i couldnt find that set tho...
For some crazy reason they stopped selling it. :(
I love the palette, where did you obtain it, please
love learning about the different brushes. and what an awesome set!
+Tiffany B thanks for watching:)
+thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich
always! question, is there an expiration for the discount?
+Tiffany B the company did not give me one, I will ask;)
+thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich
I appreciate that!
Thanks for the video, Lindsay! I clicked on the links but couldn't find the travel set you have. Both links bring me to Amazon
oh no, they sold out. Hopefully they will have more up soon!
Lindsey I can't find this set of brushes anywhere. Did they go out of business? I love the interchangeable h heads.
I was just interested in a little information on a round...but this was too dang interesting so I had to watch it all. LOL
Great information! Especially on the explanation of the fan blender. Thank you!
awesome Video thank you! its gone straight into my reference section :) I wish they posted to Oz.
Love love love this! Ordered one set right away!
yaya, I am glad you got one, they sold out quickly!
Thanks so much Lindsay! I like the watercolor palette you're using in this video. What watercolors/palette is it?
Mission Gold perfect pans set of 24, it is nice and compact but has lots of paint:) Also a teeny bit of color goes a very long way;)
I don't think they are available anymore. I did multiple searches in addition to your links and I could not find the travel set.
I think they sold out! I am trying to get hold of the owner of Fabart to see if they have more they can list. The other set of 12 with the 2 toned bristles are wonderful too, I will be showcasing them soon, they alse come in a beautiful case and have the standard short handles.
I tried the link but could not find these travel brush sets. Help
Crazy that Amazon link of yours lists the brush set at $25 USD. Here in Canada it sells on Amazon for $102 CAD!!!
what is your favorite brand of water colors and which would you suggest a beginner to start with?

I can't get it to show it.:-(
QUESTION: I just bought the Rare Earth Watercolour Set of 5 Multi Media Brushes from create and craft.
Thanks Lindsay :-)
This interchangeable set is not coming up for me on Amazon, just the set that does not have interchangeable brushes. Maybe tomorrow it'll be up?
They sold out of the first listing but I am seeing if they have more sets to list. When they do it will be under the link in the discription:)
are both the flat and bright brushes the same as a one stroke brush?
A one stroke has longer bristles but the shape in the same as a flat:)
So "cat's tongue" is the sportscar of brushes? Lol! 😂👏🏼 This video was so informative! Thank you!!!👍🏼
Lindsay, where do i purchase this brush set from, I need it!! I want one and to gift one!!!
I went to purchase these brushes and they were not there, is there another place I can get these brushes?
I've learned SO much from this video. What really blew my mind was that I now know why my brushes sometimes poof out and don't keep their shape.. even tho I clean them religiously. If I can actually keep my paint from getting up into the ferrule, they may last longer 😂😂
I wanted to ask a quick question... if anyone can answer?
She mentioned on one brush with water color that it's ok to let the paint go onto the ferrule because it will wash out.. does this apply to all brushes with water color paint?
Thank you so much Lindsay!! 😄
I have the same problem try as hard as I might I'm terrible for getting paint up the farrel.
with watercolor you should be fine, any paint getting up there is (or should be) watery, just rinse it well and wipe it and let it dry as usual.
Thank you for an excellent lesson on brushes.
Hi Lindsay I got so excited watching this tutorial/review but I can't find any for sale in the uk. I often find this happens when you inspire me to try different products and I get disappointed :( Thanks though for all you do x
I am sorry, I have asked the manufacturer for UK and canadian links as well,we will see what they say:)
That's very kind of you, thank you.
