I just watched that Manny guy, loaded absolutely stunning Car collection but treats them like art more an investment and likes them just sitting on show by the looks of it and that’s his right but I tend to think what a waste to not experience them really. Mind I’ve had my Car eight years now from new and only 30k on it.
@@SWR112 Manny has so many cars (and probably only so and so little time) that it's actually quite difficult to add many miles on them all. preserving might be okay as well. I mean, they then in return might get driven in the future. the future won't deliver such cars anymore, so on one hand we're also kinda almost obligated to conserve the last of their kinds true petrol head cars (just imagine how our car nerdy kids gonna referred to as, "lithium heads" in the near future, lol.)
Very nice looking car. Nice sounding for a 6 cylinder. I like big wings on some cars but it's refreshing to see a clean looking supercar. I know a blacked out rear section of a car is a thing these days but imo some color to the bumper would look amazing. Possibly some matte carbon fiber ground effects as well. No doubt MSO could do that.
I love it when Shmee is here in LA! Ever plan a meet n greet? That sure would be great! This review happened at the worst time possible, during rush hour. As you know LA has the worst traffic in the developed world. But it was extremely gratifying and useful to see a McLaren review in LA traffic, because that’s the type of traffic I drive in everyday! Sounds like the Artura passed with flying colors.
Good for him using it proper, wish him many happy miles it. When a Car collector says “ I’ve had that a year, beautiful isn’t it only 64 miles on it” I cringe a bit. He should get a award considering McLaren have a reputation. I like this Electric- ICE combo if it gets better MPG, power and comfort. Ferrari are absolutely nailing it.
You should host a car meet up while you are here in Los Angeles. I’m sure many of your fans would show up, & would want to checkout the right hand drive GT Black Series😬
Friend of mine was invited out to a test event with these (he`s a McLaren owner) and I went with him. Its not a bad car but the 6 cylinder is a downgrade compared to the V8 models. The noises the V8 models produce with turbo are just better. It will interesting to see how well this car sells.
Mclaren DNA is there but sleek enough as a non LT model. This new age hybrid recipe better come with some encouragement from their goals for a reliability revolution .

AutoTopNL recently reviewed a 812 superfast, not sure how old is the car but it has around 166k km (103k+ miles). Thats a lot of mileage for a ferrari 812 superfast
Love the car, but hate to tell you it’s wrong lol I’ve had my Arthur’s for a month now and it’s creeping on 8600 miles. I live in Texas and do frequent drives through all major cities averaging 3-5 hours on road a day. Still great vid tho
Hey Shmee. I’m just curious. You’ve driven a lot of your friends’ cars and I wanted to know is there some sort of temporary insurance agreement with your or their insurer, or is it just based on a being super careful thing.
If any car… at any price point can’t do 2000 miles, no matter the time it takes… well that leaves much to be desired and says quite a bit of the engineering and company that made it…. ((This title for video isn’t such the feat Shmee supposes it suggests))…😊
look at his plates. that's a little inconvenient to "quickly go home" before heading down from BC. (you quickly know where this dude's from by checking out the car's front. Alberta is the only province that doesn't require front license plates [at least to my knowledge, lol.])
yes, the closer to the equator you're, the quicker it gets dark after sunset 🤓 (something some people tend to be surprised by when experiencing it in real.)

I'm a big fan of the Mclaren GT. That's the car I would buy. I don't need a car with 1000 horsepower.

Running 10s and trapping at like 139mph, it's a massive downgrade compared to the 765LT and even the 720S.

It's not about it being a 'feat', it's about respect to the owner for actually doing it. That's very rare with a car of this value.
