That, and acknowledging transsexualism is a medical condition, and that it’s not transphobic if you don’t want to date them at all, just that you be respectful towards them when turning them down. They fully understand if folk won’t want to date them, they understand sexuality is innate and dating is exclusionary by design and you can reject someone for literally any reason, because you don’t owe anyone your time, attention or body.

No, it’s not transphobic to not want to date a trans person, dating is exclusionary by design and folk exclude others for all sorts of reasons. So no, it’s not transphobic, but all trans folk ask is that you remain respectful when turning them down if they ask you out, as there’s no need to be rude.
Also as a general note, can we not call it “genital preference”, preference implies it’s a choice, when really it’s folks sexuality. Sexuality is innate and not something you can change.
Talking from experience, the more people watch exotic videos online, the more they're willing to "experiment" with the same sex. I noticed this and stopped watching those videos and those feelings went away. I don't care whether someone is gay or not, but things can influence it like abuse or Society.

It’s not transphobic if you don’t want to date a fully transitioned transsexual, if anything they actually fully understand because they’re not entitled to your time, attention or body.
It’s not phobic if someone doesn’t want to date you, they don’t even have to give you a reason for saying “no”, they don’t owe you anything here, and let’s face it, it wouldn’t be a healthy relationship either if they felt pressured into saying yes out of fear of being wrongly labelled a transphobe.
It doesn’t matter what your gender identity is, because sexuality is sex based attraction, doesn’t matter if you’ve had full surgeries like facial feminisation, adans apple shaving, breast augmentation and sex reassignment surgery, for 99% of the population they’re attraction is based on your birth sex, and we shouldn’t call sexuality “transphobic”. Folk need to understand that you can’t just simply alter your sexuality for one person you might not ever date, and folk need to accept when someone says “no” then it doesn’t mean you call them a transphobe (unless they’re actually giving you transphobic abuse), it just means you need to be a mature adult and accept that “no”.

It's the same thing as not being attracted to the same gender if you're straight. The lack of attraction is deeper than physical appearance. At its core you aren't attracted to them because you know that they are the same sex regardless of what's on the outside. That's not something that can be overlooked just like that.

I'm open minded. I wouldn't mind it. However, in the long run I want my own kids. Not adopted, but my own. That's not something you can have with a Trans unless you have a surrogate which is another issue for me personally. All in all I'm down to have fun but nothing serious with a Trans person. I recomend you stop getting into those arguments for two reasons, You can't change a brainwashed person's mind because they have grown up thinking that certain things are offensive. Secondly, people will ostrasize you for having an opinion that differs from theirs and is considered hate speech, these people can even cause physical harm to you and others will view it as good people ganging up on one bad person and think they're doing something good by stopping you from being able to speak about what you think.

I think if I was talking to someone and found out they were trans I wouldn’t talk to them. It’s not that I’m transphobic, it’s just that I’m not attracted towards trans people. I think it’s weird as a fully straight male to talk/date someone who used to be a male (wether they went through a genital swap or not). It’s not that I have a problem with trans people.

In my opinion I'd say that never wanting to date a trans person is different than hating transgender people, not only for the sake of which genitals are involved, but also just because at the end of the day there is a difference between someone who was born into a biological sex, and someone who had gender-affirming surgery.
"This isn't to insult or deride anyone or their personal choices, but for people who are simply just only attracted to the opposite biological sex, than the knowledge that a potential partner was born with the same biological sex, but was reshaped to be the other one still registers for many straight people as being different, especially if you wanted to have children.
Preferences like these don't change because you want them to. If they "Change" it's really because you didn't quite have the preferences you thought you did in the first place.

No, it’s not transphobic. It’s not transphobic if you don’t want to ever date trans people, they just request that you remain respectful towards them when turning them down as there’s no need to be rude.
Sexuality is defined as sex based attraction which doesn’t count gender identity, and for 99% of the population they’re attracted to sex, hence homosexual, bisexual and heterosexual. Sexuality is innate and not something people can change, and trans people acknowledge this.

It’s not transphobic if you don’t want to date a fully transitioned transsexual, if anything they actually fully understand because they’re not entitled to your time, attention or body.
It’s not phobic if someone doesn’t want to date you, they don’t even have to give you a reason for saying “no”, they don’t owe you anything here, and let’s face it, it wouldn’t be a healthy relationship either if they felt pressured into saying yes out of fear of being wrongly labelled a transphobe.
It doesn’t matter what your gender identity is, because sexuality is sex based attraction, doesn’t matter if you’ve had full surgeries like facial feminisation, adans apple shaving, breast augmentation and sex reassignment surgery, for 99% of the population they’re attraction is based on your birth sex, and we shouldn’t call sexuality “transphobic”. Folk need to understand that you can’t just simply alter your sexuality for one person you might not ever date, and folk need to accept when someone says “no” then it doesn’t mean you call them a transphobe (unless they’re actually giving you transphobic abuse), it just means you need to be a mature adult and accept that “no”.

Me, a trans person. It depends what biology someone has.
Here's a great example of my friend. They say they're willing to date me specifically because I'm trans and am going to, one day, be a complete girl in every single way, mostly. But right now, I still have male biology. They're straight. They're willing to date me because they know I'll eventually be a girl.
That's what a man would probably do. Date a trans person if they're fully transitioned.
But, a hole's a hole, you can't argue that.
Technically you will always have male biology because your sex is male, you didnt form female reproductive organs and thankfully cant have periods, your gender is female however and you are a girl in that respect, surgery or not. However its also perfectly ok for someone to only want cis women. That's how I see it anyway, and I wish you luck not only with your full transition but with your new relationship.

What if you date a trans person and you love them a lot but then after like a month they tell you there trans. Would you break up because of that? I do really wonder how people stand on this cause i do think people like each other on a deeper level then just that person having a dick or pussy.
@@dashofawesome64 This is a good question, and I definitely do agree that there is more to a relationship than just bodily parts. And to be honest, I'm not really sure. This is a very niche scenario, and I have nothing against trasgender or lgbtq+ people. But, my preference is to be with people of my opposite gender (females). So, I think that I might still love them, but more in a friendly kind of way, and not a sexual one. This is a good question, though, and I would like to see how others respond.

I would not mistreat them but would end it . I noticed that transgender try to play off that if they have the surgery they are basically the same thing as cis . They are not . I went to the doctor office the other day and on the paperwork you fill out when you check in I noticed the form asked if you are male? Female? Or transgender. Obviously the medical field see a difference too .

Phobia means an irrational fear of something, but if you simply prefer something over another, and this case a transgender and willing to not date them, it’s a phobic? It's a preference, whether it's because they're trans or because they don't have the genitals you want, it becomes very toxic when you tell someone they're transphobic because they don't want to date a trans person

As in, it makes sense that for long term relationships you would have a preference for cis women so you can procreate.
But to go from that to saying that you would never date or have sex with someone trans in a short term relationship there's a bit of a stretch.
