Great video!!! Thank you!
Thank you for your comment, means everything to a new channel!
amazing!! thank you
I have ran into another problem with my camera...
The screen is black. I take a photo the flash goes of but the image is still a black screen. My camera is a Fujifilm Fine Pix (similar modal to yours)
Do you have an idea what may be causing this? Any advice is greatly appreciated :)
@@coastiescorner Check if the picture is still being stored on the card could be an issue where the picture is still being stored but not displayed (not helpful if you are wanting to see the picture before re-raking if needs be) Would do a full factory reset through setting to see if that clears things up.
I have a slightly different camera, but has the same set up as this one in the vid. Mine is a FinePix J38. I have a 64G card and I tried this method but it still has a card error. Could it be that it’s a SDXC UHS-I Card? I looked in the Manuel and thought I saw that fujifilm excepts SDXC
Hi just checked in the manual for your camera and it shows as only supporting SD & SDHC cards. later in the manual it refers to 32gb card but no mention of higher capacity card than that. It may work with a 64gb card but definitely would need to be just an SDHC card and not the SDXC card as the camera firmware will not read it, Hope that helps. Please say thanks just by being a subscriber to the channel...its free! :)
Hi there, I am having an issue with this particular camera that I dont know how to fix - the display screen is purple before I take a picture, and when I do take a photo and view it it comes up with little horizontal lines (flash or not). I'm unsure if I've accidentally damaged it? Is this fixable?
Is it just the screen or is it also on the actual photograph when you've viewed on a computer?
its unfixable if you see that Horizontal line On Photos it's probably a faulty sensor
i have this exact same camera, tried this and it still doesn’t work also formatted it on the computer and still says card error and the sd card is new so can not be corrupt. any advice?
I think i know the answer to this one already....What size card are you using. Im guessing if its a NEW one its high capacity?
Tried everything to get rid of it on xt20. Still can't get rid of it. Been told only way to send it to Fujifilm, but I bet it would cost more than I paid for it. Which is a shame cos they are amazing cameras. Dead easy to use. I loved it.
Have you tried replacing the card?
@@MrNot2Techy yeah tried various cards. Still nothing .
@@cyrilstheone sounds like some sort of bug in the cameras firmware somehow, it has happened to few people apparently I have checked online for you and there is a guy who replaced his set of SanDisk cards he had tried but this time with a Kingston card and it worked. I have pasted his comment below, maybe give this a try before having to send it away. Not sure if there is a way you can re-load the cameras firmware via usb like you can re-install windows on a pc....
After receiving no help from Fuji, I decided to buy a Kingston 64GB SDXC "Canvas React" to try, and IT WORKS! Performance seems identical to my Sandisk Extreme Pro which does not work.
Having the same exact problem with my xt30!! If you find a solution at some point, please let me know here as well. I will do the same
@@BenvindaMemories will do, that makes sense and thank you, that's really helpful ☺️
what type of card did you use? because mine still doesn’t work after formatting it and its a sandisk 64GB and i kept trying to format but it still doesnt work.
@@aaliyah1609 do you have the same a170 camera?
@@MrNot2Techy yes
@@aaliyah1609 the maximum according to Fuji is 32gb capacity. Just a standard SD or sdhc card. Nothing more superior to that as the camera was made at a time where the software (firmware) was written for that times card capacities and technologies.
@@MrNot2Techy okk thank you so much
@@aaliyah1609 if you haven't already please subscribe, helps me out a lot! Thank you!
If i format the sd card then do i lose everything in the card?
Hi you would yes but that may be the only way to correct any error in the FAT - Maybe copy the card contents to computer first if it allows access to its contents.
@@MrNot2Techy ok i got it, thanks
mine still doesn’t work
@@aaliyahmosavel2170 Potentially...may be a corrupt card. It does happen. Have you tried formatting the card via a pc in a card reader?
I have Fujifilm a220 i have 32 gb sd card and i put card adaptor then put in camera but its show card error. what i do?
Have you tried formatting the card in the camera. Take off any pictures you want though with your pc card reader as a format of the card will wipe it clean and reset it's toc
@@MrNot2Techy I try to format from camera but it's show protected card
@@freefiregamer485 Does the card have a little write protect slider on the card?
@@freefiregamer485 There is a small possibility that the card is faulty of course, has it been working recently?
@@MrNot2Techy yes it works on phone PC
It says card is protected
If you take the card out and pop it into a card reader to be read by a pc you'll be able to see if it's write protected. I know some card (SD) come with a little plastic tab you can slide up and down to un-write protect.
@@MrNot2Techy thanks tried all the possible ways of formatting and checking for troubleshooting but nothing worked thanks for the quick reply really appreciated
