To me, it is the manliest of all Invictus' interpretations. Its darker,dense and bold

thank you so much for this review. i just bought this today when i walked into Macys...first thing the lady had me try. Mind you, I've never owned the original because it just feels like it's been over done. Your comment about it being so similar to the original is noteworthy. Perhaps it felt different to my nose just because of the intensity. It lives up to the name and longevity is killer. The one squirt I received on the back of my hand is still there some 6 hours later. I haven't opened the package, so I'm thinking i may just have to return it. I'm also wondering how well it might do if i just try splitting off samples and going on ebay. So thank you mucho Mr. Red! Feliz navidad...prospero anyo y felicdad..

I love the intense version, i also like over aqua and original ,but this is more sophisticated i think.
Excellent review, thank you so much. My favorite out of all the Invictus offshoots is the intense version without a doubt. However, I've been searching deeply for a clone and now I realize that I'm able to purchase an original Invictus clone and still end up with something similar to the intense. Imma go w Hayaati Blk Bottle. Thanks man. The INTENSE is Solid and a crowd pleaser, but I'll settle for a cheap performing Clone 😆

QUALITY review man, i sold my 5oz invictus, just never reached for it, plus i'm 35 now haha. I may try this if i see it anywhere just to compare. Agree with code and 1 million profumo, nicer versions for sure, 2016 great year for flanker frags.

I could never understood why people say Invictus smells just like intense to my nose it smell nothing like and I would beat money on knowing the difference.... invictus is more dark and fruit smell to me it remind me of a lighter Oumo scent. But I like it and I had all the Invictus and to me they smell nothing alike a lil bit of the invictus DNA but not the same

I went crazy the first time I smelled invictus on a friend it smelled so good I own two original invictus and one invictus aqua I just ordered the intense from Macy's ... my love for invictus😍

How much longer can Paco Rabanne continue the Invictus variations? Are that doing that well with the aqua? Every fragrance has an Intense version these days. How about just making the normal version as much of a powerhouse that the fragrances of the 1980's were, or like the original Paco Rabanne. When I splashed that on back in the day, the entire train car in the morning knew it! It was like I had a KC & The Sunshine Band dance mix announcing my presence on the train and in the office each day!
The official site doesn't even have Invictus Intense listed as of this writing. Just to clarify, are you saying that the total longevity of the scent is 7 hours? When did it turn to a skin scent - after 2 hours? It would help if you put projection and longevity graphics on screen or in the "show more" area as these are the 2 most important categories after smell and price.
Another would be when the top notes turned to middle notes. Did the bayleaf scent in the middle note come after an hour or was it in the top note. There are quite a few scents where I can barely smell the difference until the final few hours of dry down.

I would recommend something like Creed's Millesime Imperial or Acqua Decima by Ea d'Italie. Bergamote 22 by Le Labos is excellent as well!
Isaac Andrés López Vera I recommend Aqua di gio by armani, Dior savage, Channel home sport, AMen ultra Zest.
Versace fraiche or versace home are good too specially if u are on budget. Or Nautica Voyage but old formulation

La compre y huele exactamente igual al original. Tuve el original y lo cierto es que el intense huele lo mismo. Quizá debas tener cuidado porque es un poco más concentrado. Pero si volviese a elegir, elijo el original por esa nostalgia de haber tenido un perfume dentro del primer año de su lanzamiento.

Yeah I just sampled it!! They smell very close to each other. It’s interesting because the only thing I noticed was the strength and it lasted longer. I’m getting a bottle Friday because I ran out of the original. Probably coping this and issey miyake. Speaking of issey, have you smelled their newest one?

I am really intrigued with aqua, which i will blind buy. I wore this briefly and i found it richer than the original, almost powdery from what i remember, with less aquatic, airy notes. Am i right that this is only available at macys? I will wind up getting both i think. The bottles of aqua and intense are appealing as well.
I wore this in full today and purchased. I would imagine to the vast majority of people in passing by this and the original would smell identical. To me intense is very different. I pick up those whiskey notes, and i find the airy, breezy notes of the original toned down if not muted. This is denser, sweet but not explosive and grounded by the whiskey note, and i get the the salty amber as well. I really like both, this more so than the original, and i will blind buy aqua for sure. Surprised you did not smell the whiskey notes here, it is what drew me to driving an hour to macys to wear and purchase. I do agree though that a non collector could do with one or the other.
How Many sprays is good To go To interview or work?
Since this is the Intense version, I would spray lightly. Perhaps 3 or 4 sprays with one of them being on clothing.

Matt Erwin i had the original it really sucks ! The longevity is poor and as well for projection ! It only lasts for 5hours or less then it dissapear completely and If you over spray you’ll feel dizzy ! Intense is really better

I have seen some adds for a fragrance from Fulton and Roark I might have misspelled that but the fragrance is applied as more of a wax than a spray. They have 3 scents. Has you or anyone got their nose on these scents? If so are they worth while?

I own the original and basically went through the whole bottle and am contemplation getting another. On another note, I just blind bought Prada L'Homme, Valentino Uomo Intense, and TF Noir Extreme, did I made a dumb choice? I know these are all amazing scents but I've only barely smelt noir extreme once

Eric Jonkman no way bro...you made some freat choices for purchase. lobe that Prada Lhomme, and am IN love with Valentino Uomo Intense. i k ow that its very very similar to Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense...but Valentino is a more crowd pleasing version. i personaly like it better. The Iris in the begining is beautiful..and dries down to a really nice slightly powdery vanilla/leather/cocoa scent.

I don't like aqua because it's the same smell just added that aquatic note, and less sweet. But it's less lasting too so I went with the original. Even if I prefer ADG Profumo and Sauvage and VPH for the summer time. So this one is not different enough to justify having it and the original. Basically, that is what you're saying.
