Final Fantasy Tactics Most Overpowered Early Ramza Build

  • In this video I go over how to make the strongest and most overpowered Ramza as early as possible. And by early I mean after the second battle in Chapter 1 after you rescue Argath.
    The only way you can get those equipment items in this video, is on the Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions Remaster PSP Version through Rendezvous and Multiplayer.
    The idea is to get Ramza to level up as a Mime for 98 levels for the best overall stats and for him to later become a Dark Knight. We have to get our generic characters to level 99 first and for them to give Ramza JP through JP spillover.
    Because we will be limited on equipment options. I highly recommend unlocking Samurai and learning Shirahadori fairly quickly. And then to raise your Bravery stat with the Orator's Praise ability. I spent over 120 hours on my save file to do all this! I don't recommend it at all! I hope you enjoy.
    Please leave a like, comment and subscribe if you had fun. It helps me out and goes a long way!

      It's funny, back in the ps1 days I'd grind up a full squad of monks with all the fixins. Double swore, blade grasp, move +3, full bravery, etc. And a black mage with concentrate.
      But then swap them out for the unique character.

    • @taemien9219
      @taemien9219 16 днів тому +1

      FFV is a bit simpler to get OP on its job system. There's a place you can kill statues (and there might even be a better farming area) for a ton of AP. There you can spend a few hours maximizing key jobs. FFV has this thing that Mime and Bare/No Job/Freelancer inherit the largest stat bonus from each job you master. Usually people tend to master Monk (+26 Strength and Vitality), Thief (+16 Agility), and Oracle (+36 Magic) on each class and then get all the abilities unlocked from the various classes they want. Then you have two routes. You can use the Freelancer with 2 abilities equipped or you can use Mime for 3 (Item is replaced). With those stat bonuses, your characters are quite strong at pretty much anything you want them to do.

  • @PRSer
    @PRSer 17 днів тому

    Monks with equip armor from the Knight Job are pretty OP from the get go to end game. Armor gives better defense and hp overall. A weakness of the monk job. Monks skills like Chakra, Revive and Purification make them great personal/support healers. Offensive skills like Aurablast, Shockwave and Cyclone are great for some range or AoE. You can literally just make everyone Monks with equip armor and breeze through the entire game. Pick n choose your counter abilities, movement and second skillset.
    Love this guide to become the most op Ramza. If anyone has the time and patience to grind through it. All kudos to you

    • @J7Jase
      @J7Jase  17 днів тому

      Yeah Monks are never a bad choice in most cases. Just gotta pray and hope for good Bravery RNG at the start so its much easier to transition into them.

    Is it possible to save time by just using 4 generics initially, so while they're powering up, you can have Ramza in the 5th slot getting spillover?
    Also, instead of relying solely on spillover for Ramza when unlocking Mime, can you have a Thief that's stealing exp from him while he just uses Focus to grind JP, so he stays level 1 but gets JP faster?
    Curious as to what your experience is with these - awesome video!

    • @J7Jase
      @J7Jase  9 днів тому +1

      Id honestly hold off on that just because getting high Bravery and Shirahadori should be the priority.
      Equipment options are extremely limited so you want something to completely nullify or block the attacks of the monsters.
      Then the strategy can work. But I still suggest having someone with Phoenix Down and waiting a bit.
      (The battle can have six enemies with quite a few Chocobos, which can be a pain early on.)
      And of course make sure Ramza only uses Focus or Tailwind on himself so it's just 10 exp gain.

    The first time I played this game as a kid I grinded in the magic city until I had a full party of characters with Dragoon's jump, ninja dual wield, and I think auto potion. I would get guts and rock throw on everyone and just use those over and over to get XP (after getting JP Boost #1 of course).
    I had no idea of optimal strategies, but that combo took me through the majority with ease. I recall the only map that gave me a hard time was that one with all the different color chocobos. I don't know what I did to manipulate the stats, but those choco meteors would destroy me. I had to try over and over to get through it

    if you want to auto-level with dance/sing and mimes, reduce *everyone's* speed down to one (including your own characters), then pick your dance/song
    since dancing and singing are tick dependent and not speed dependent, you'll get off 20-30 dances and songs before every turn, and you'll get to 99 in no time with almost no input and no risk of the AI doing something stupid, as long as someone is there in the level 90's who can give you all that juicy experience

    I'd say its dangerous to lvl your characters to 99 especially at the beginning without any kind of reaction ability to protect yourself as chocobos, panthers and goblin can wreck your knights or monk especially without good equipment at around lvl 20 this things can 1 shot you I'd advise you to train a arithmetician first using monks to carry you but don't over level around lvl. 15 or so use the punching your ally trick recruit a lvl. 1 squire and he will be your punching bag for your soon to be arithmetician then once you have a arithmetician you can from there

      its not dangerous at all to over level your characters to 99 though, you could literally get them all to have Manashield reaction + Manafont movement abilities, and get them to 97 Bravery, that coupled with Phoenix Down / Revive and you're essentially invincible, you could kill level 99 monsters with Throw Stone at that point if you wanted

      I just use Dragonheart for warrior jobs and Manafont+Mana Shield for spellcaster jobs to level them to 99.
      Dragonheart rendered all monsters surprise attacks moot and mages can heal them back in no time at all. Then the 97 bravery Shirahadori/Blade Grasp trick.

    First mistake I see - You should have had Ramza in all of those early fights now doing anything but getting Spill-Over JP. He will stay at Level 1, but you'll be unlocking Jobs and getting JP for those jobs just by being on the battle field. That's how I have my Level 1 Ramza with all the Jobs unlocked so I can start up any solo run I want - My save file says 12 hours, so it doesn't that that long, tbh

      First mistake I see. You aren't subscribed to the channel.
      It's much faster to get JP spillover from jobs and characters that are level 99 and have job level 8.
      And BTW this is for the strongest earliest possible Ramza why he has Chaos Blade.

      I've heard of people Mega-grinding in chapter 1. I'm in an FFT Group on FB, people do it. And IF you have 2 PSPs and 2 Copies of the game you can totally farm Multiplayer for items even in Chapter 1 as well.
      Everything shown in the video IS doable, just takes a lot of patience and grinding, but the game by nature requires those things. People just usually don't do a lot of grinding til Chapter 3 or 4 since the first two chapters of the game are rather easy for an experienced player.
