Qualitative researchers look for involvement of their participants in data collection and seek to build rapport and credibility with the individuals in the study. Qualitative research is emergent rather than tightly prefigured.
Qualitative researchers uses complex reasoning that is multifaceted, iterative and simultaneous. Qualitative is largely inductive, but inductive and deductive reasoning are at work during the process. The methods of data collection, traditionally, open ended observations, interviews and documents. However, a variety of methods now includes sounds, emails, emails, scrapbook and so on. Qualitative research is done in a natural setting and it’s uses multiple methods that are humanistic and interactive.

Qualitative goes on inductive approach and quantitative goes on a deductive approach of analysis but Stories (Qualitative) with statistics(Quantitative) is mixed method but which approach do you prescribe inductive or deductive in general phenomena?
