Ingredients
Dry
3 cups of cake flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon os salt, 1pack of vanilla instant pudding the 3 oz box, 2 tablespoons of strawberry jello
Wet ingredients
2 sticks of unsalted butter, 1/2 cup of Crisco stick, 1/2 cup of purée strawberries, 1 cup of butter milk, 5 eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, 3,cups of sugar
Glaze, 1and 1/2 cup of powder sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 2 tablespoons of milk
Bake on 325 for 90 minutes

I cannot thank you enough… I was really missing my sweet grandma that raised me. She always made the best poundcakes for our birthdays growing up. I decided to go out and buy a stand up mixer and roll with this recipe… I make this cake with you on UA-cam! When I tasted the cake with the sweet glaze, I really cried… I felt my grandmamas spirit in the kitchen with me. This is the first thing I have Ever baked. It came out wonderful and my neighbors requested cakes as well. Wow!! Thank you, I know this pound cake is going to bring my family closer again after the matriarch of our family has passed. bless you❤️ thank you 🙏🏽

Thank you for adding some wisdom regarding COVID/infectious diseases. Too many people don't understand the meaning of "airborne" and don't understand that our current vaccines only help reduce severe outcomes and do not prevent transmission. Masking and air cleaning technology are important. I have been modifying box mix pound cake and want to try a strawberry variant similar to yours. I have never made a puree before, so this will be new for me.

Hello Ms. Soulful T, Happy 2022 to you and your family! This strawberry 🍓 cake 🎂 🥮 look absolutely delicious! One of my beautiful Ministers in my church made me one of the biggest prettiest pound cakes for NEW YEAR, I Never got a chance to taste it ,I became very ill,and I was rushed to the hospital, I told my daughters to wrap up my cake very tight, so I can have, when I get home, so far I have been in the hospital for 5 days, hopefully I will be discharged soon! 🙏🏽🙏🏽😢

Try using strawberry extract with cream cheese icing. Looks delicious Yumm!!!
But guess what ms. soulful t, I'm hoping that one day you make a 2 layer pineapple 🍍 icing dripping 7-up cake, that's the way they made it back in the 1970's, now they make the 7-up cakes in a pound cake style. I never see the 2 layer or 3 layer 7-up cakes.

Omgosh! Your cake looks 🔥! I can tell that it's so moist and I'm sure delicious! I can't wait to try it but probably with cherries 😊. When you mentioned that you kept dropping things, it could be a result of your diabetes. My aunt suffered from diabetes and she would describe neuropathy pain. It's like a numb or tingling sensation on whatever body part that's affected. Neuropathy makes parts of your body feel as if they're asleep out of nowhere and as a result let's say your fingers, will loose its grip and cause them to sometimes malfunction sorta speak. I suffer from neuropathy pain because of a autoimmune disease I have so sometimes, my hands and other body parts tend to not function properly until the flare up is over. Hey SoulfulT, I'm not a 🍞 nor sweets chic, I'm a meat lova 😉😅but my daughter loves herself some 🍞 and sweets. 🍓 is her favorite cake flavor and I can't wait to show her this video. She only does box cakes so I'm not sure if she will try making 1 from scratch. I'm going to buy her a mixer, I was going to get her the type u have but she said she only wants the mixer bcuz she only bake cakes about 4xs a year. BTW: ur cake came out PERFECT😋🤤💛💫
