- It's small, compact, and simple, the Easythreed X1 - In this video, I do a review on the EasyThreed X1 a compact 3D printer that fits great on your desktop and easy to handle, or does it? I used this 3D Printer for a few weeks now and I have to say, this printer has some room for upgrades. This 3D printer from Easythreed is tiny and has a building volume of 100 x 100 x 100 mm and has no heatbed, after printing, you can easily remove the prints because of the magnetic print surface. This printer is nice to have next to your computer or other places where you want to 3D print or start with 3D Printing because this 3D printer is easy in use.

@@Zachary3DPrints I can't find in the description, so I posted here, this configs works well! thanx!
And your comment is pinned, thanks buddy
Man thats crazy I can't believe someone printed my design . I printed mine on a resin 3d printer so im glad to see how it comes out on a filament printer. Keep up the good work
Oh really, thank you sir! You deserves credits! Next time I’ll print this, I’ll specially give it to you! This is the kind of benchy I’m using more, because this one is awesome
@@Zachary3DPrints oh its all good. Im just glad somebody appreciates the shrine. Are you plankng on printing it on a bigger scale?
@@milo10216 Maybe I will, as soon as my CTC Prusa i3 MK2 conversion is ready...
So find print you want on thingyverse and save to card supplied ? Then add card to printer and print ? Thank you
First you search and look for something on Thingiverse, than you download it, after that unzip the file(usually they are zipped), than slice the model in Cura or other Slicer program save it on the SD card or Micro SD card and than put that card into your 3D Printer. The Easythreed X1 use only 1 sliced model
I have the same printer please share your best profile settings so i can import it TIA
I have the slicer settings in the other video about the Easythreed X1 printer
Can I use this 3d printer to do furnitures al scale for me university career?
You can use this printer to do that, this printer has a building volume of 100*100*100mm and needs some little upgrades. If you really need something printed for your university, check for a bit higher priced 3D printers, like Prusa Mini, Ender 3 Pro, Anet ET4
what software r u using to print it
I used Cura 4.5 with a new printer profile printer printing volume of 100x100x100mm and no heat bed.
I gotta buy this
me too i think
Printer has potential...
Have you checked the X4?
Nope not yet, did you? If so, what do you think of it? For my X1 I have some upgrades in mind.
Zachary 3D Prints
X4 is my future choice
I dont see anything else that can top the price
For filament
What brand do you recommend?
What is your thoughts on the filament that comes with the X1?
For the X4 i checked the description at Easythreed's official store on Aliexpress
No sign of Cooling fan for the X4,i guess i need to buy it separately
So here's what the cart looks like
Im not buying right now
Im still earning
Easythreed X4 : $159
Cooling fan : $5.50
Filament(1 kg) : $16.99
Filament Holder : $12
All items found in the easythreed store at aliexpress
What do you think?
Am i getting a good deal?
At first look/glimpse I thought this was another color X1 and with only the micro screen added in the control box.
But it has more, it has a screen in the control box, but also a heatbed, and it has a bigger printing volume 150*150*150mm, It looks that this printer looks not bigger, buy hey 150*150*150 that's great!
I think that is a great deal if you want to buy this kind of 3D Printer.
Zachary 3D Prints
What about the filament?what do you think of it?
As in the one to use for this printer? I always use FilRight filaments, but I they don't ship it that far. maybe you can check for some great premium filaments, like Prusament, matterhackers, ESun etc. say like, quality for your money.
Try 30mm speed and it can handle 0.1mm layer height, you'll get much better results.
Also, add the part cooling fan
Hmm, nice idea, I will add this to the profile. Thank you sir
That is one of the upgrades I'm going to do....
Let me know how it goes!
"The printer has some potential" sounds like "it's totally crap, but I was paid for saying something good about it".
Nope, I wasn't paid for... Printer was paid with my own money
@@Zachary3DPrints, thanks for the answer. I didn't say "you were paid for". I said, "it sounds like". Commercial products are either good or bad. "Has potential" means it can be good if you will do it good, but for now it's bad. And the funny thing, we can so apply the words "has potential" to any bad product.
So, please, be honest. If a newbie product unusable for a newbie, it's a crap.
Okay I understand what you mean. I’m trying to give my honest opinion about this printer, and indeed there are some little things like a fan duct that can improve the print quality a lot. I’m still using it with only the fan duct and is printing fine
@@Zachary3DPrints a new version came out that fix most of the bugs of this version
@@lonelyblackhole727 mine came with built in fan for cooling the extrusion, came with tensioned belts, just config bed and print
Are you dutch
Yes I am, you too?
@@Zachary3DPrints yep
it prints like a potato
Really, was that good or bad?
