You did well considering the Banshee is so front heavy, and the suspension setup is a little antiquated. 35 horsepower vs 40 on the 450. I’m pretty sure the Banshee was a weight disadvantage. I’d say you did damn good.
Good shit man. That dude on that yfz got balls of steel lol. You were still sending it though 🤙🏾. I can’t wait till I get comfortable enough to hit the big stuff.
Banchee came apart last two days. Parts are on the way. Full blown XC Banchee build. Talked with powder coat Monday. Not going rootbeer. Although rootbeer is very cool
Definitely cool to see. Get some Fireball long travel a arms, pair them with fox or whatever you prefer. Get a -1 swingarm, lowered subframe, -1” down and -2” back pegs and it’ll correct some of the geometry issues if you want it to perform better at the track.
I originally set it up for the trail with lone star +2+1 arms and -1 wheel offsets for +2 overall up front on alba stage 3s and a +2 swingarm just to fit these massive 22" bear claws. But then i took it to the track and got hooked. Now i need to set it up for the track
I'm building mine now. Got fireball long travel on the way with elka 19.25. - 1 swingarm as well. And fireball +2 tall and one inch forward steering stem. What are you saying about pegs?? Do you mean footpegs? Move them back from stock?
And just yesterday I was arguing with a fool over his blaster beating 450's on a track! And I was like no you did not. But if you did it's because they are beginners that can't ride as good as you. Try taking a blaster out to a track like this and race a 450r! Terry Preston!
@@32to1 obviously personal preference, but doesn’t work on a quad as good as a bike....bikes require very little input as far as turning the bars, on a quad where you are constantly turning the bars to corner, adding the twisting motion of a twist throttle is more muscles working and fighting against each other leading to extreme fatigue and arm pump.....and whiskey throttle on a quad is twice as scary as on a bike😂😂
@@32to1 I’ve seen your videos before I figured that’s why you have a twist throttle. Once I get my banshee straightened out I need to come out and ride with you.
Still flying for 30 year old chassic design, awesome run dude.
This my 1st time seeing a banshee on the track nice riding

Looks like you're riding that Banshee pretty well to me. Can't expect to hang with a National Champion.
Hell yeah man thanks! I was pumped just to see them in action. Getting to rip the track with them was awesome
Idk man if it had a little bit of a wider stance and softer suspension I think the Banshee woulda done it
one of yamahas stupidest ideas was sxs and getting rid of the banshee why they do that? it cost them millions in sales they could still be getting...
I would buy a new banshee if they still had them😪. Wish they still made stuff like that. 250r’s blasters banshees etc.

So cool!!
Need +2+1 a arms and a lowering link for yhe back. and ported cylinders will get you a extra 20 horsepower
I agreeee

Lol I’m in a blaster group with that guy
@@nicholasgreenslade8854 yeah that's who I'm talking about!! The guy can be a real tool! Lmfao 😂😆😂

Haha hell yeah dude that's cool AF
tbh i feel like jumping a quad is way sketchy then a dirt bike, thats just my opinion
Agreed. Riding my yz450f is way less sketch on the track
👍
Twist throttle is trash
Maybe for a quad rider but im a dirt bike rider that found a $1500 banshee and built for trails. Works pretty good on the track tho too

@@32to1I got a 2006 banchee I bought brand new. First thing I did was get rid of the thumb throttle
