- In this video I'll be doing my best to clearly explain how to defeat the Ropalolyst boss in Warframe. Weather you're a solo player checking off nodes on your star chart or looking to farm Wisp Warframe parts, I hope that you find this video helpful! 🍻

The thing about Warframe is if you go in with a public team you might never learn anything. I have yet to even see some bosses because they're dead before I can even make it to the fight
Absolutely! This is a big reason why I prefer to play solo. I like to do my own thing and go at my own pace. I don't ever want to hinder the progress of a group, but at the same time, I don't like feeling like I'm missing out on an experience. 👍🍻
Agreed. I think the game works best as going in solo for progression, then switch over to multiplayer for farming.
For you first fight do it solo but when you are farming the boss for wisp a group makes it way quicker
I guess I should've watched this after all. There weren't spoilers, and I somehow found myself in this battle and had no clue WTF was happening. Ad often is the case with Warframe and me
I was a bit worried about the Second Dream and the reveal of the Operator. It happened like 6 years ago so I'm sure the cats out of the bag for most players...but I just didn't want to ruffle any feathers among the Warframe community.😂 I hope the video helps out when you're ready to give it another go. It's an odd fight, but it does get exponentially easier with a little repetition. 👍🍻
Considering you need to be advanced to a certain point in the quest chain to even access this fight, talking about the Operator isn't that bad, IMO. If someone willingly clicked the video, then they already know about Operators.
I was hoping that was the case! I've been away from the game for quite some time and didn't actually know when the node was added or what the prerequisites were for it to be unlocked. I appreciate the intel! 😁🍻
@@IronworkerGaming I'm a pretty recent Destiny refugee, so getting back into the game has helped me give perspective to players well into Steel Path on what the new player experience feels like. One of my friends was really surprised that I needed to make my own to progress Prelude to War.
Pretty good and simple guide. I know at one of the points I took a break from the game and came back, I struggled pretty hard on this fight solo, and even sometimes in matchmaking with teams full of other players who didn't know what to do. It didn't take too long to figure it out, but I can definitely see other people needing some guidance since it's not super clear what to do unless you pay attention to the dialog. Which when you're in that progression/farming mindset, rather than doing a story mission, it's sometimes easy to just kind of zone out on listening to dialog.
I do hope that any newer players that find the video can put it to good use! This fight was definitely a "wtf" moment for me on my first attempt. It does get a lot easier once you get into the flow of what needs to happen, but I would assume most peoples first go at it didn't pan out too well. 😂🍻
@@IronworkerGaming Yea, lol. Particularly since while most fights in Warframe do have mechanics of some sort, they're still relatively light on them and it's ultimately usually just a matter of dealing damage and not getting hit. This is one of the few bosses where if you don't do the mechanics, you can't do anything to it.
I believe they've also gone back and adjusted a few of the older bosses to have more mechanics as well, though not to this extent. So if there's any you fought when you played before, but haven't killed since coming back, you may want to go and check them to see. Off the top of my head, I believe the Jackal boss on Venus got some changes at one point several years ago.
Thanks to you I actually understood how this Fight works, but I have to say that Ammo in that mission is really a problem because I ran out of it pretty fast and no new enemies drop to replunish it.
Glad to hear that I explained things clearly! If ammo is an issue, and you do have access to it, the Nataruk is a great option since it's ammo is infinite. 👍👍
I first found this channel when I took a 2 year break from Warframe and went to play D2. At the time the weapon break down videos really helped to shape me into the guardian I am today, after 4.3k hours. To anyone reading this, do consider Giving Warframe a go, it is a different experience compared to D2 but that is not necessary bad. At the moment I have over 8k hours recorded on steam, with my hour in game(this records the time you spend in missions only) at over 5k and I still have content to chew through.
It makes me really happy hearing that my D2 weapon breakdowns had an impact! 😁 I do love the fact that Warframe has soooo much content! There's always more to do and more to learn! 👍🍻
Glad to see you even with other games as well my friend! ;)
I really appreciate it man! I have been having a ton of fun with Warframe as of late! 😁🍻
Didnt know you played Warframe...nice 🤘🏾 And yeah i dont do much with my operator...still using Drifter's amp😅 But i like to Wukong here.
Great to hear you dabble in the world of Warframe as well! I always had a soft spot for the game when I used to play on Playstation, but when cross platform progression was added this past January and I could bring everything over to PC, the game hooked me once again! 😁🍻
Great explanation! could have used a suggested mod config with an explainer as to why that, but the rest has helped me immensely.
I'm glad to hear that!! I was aiming to make the point that the fight was mostly about the mechanics and less about the build, but it probably wouldn't have hurt to go over my setup briefly. 👍🍻
I almost have wisp and i still dont know what the hell im doing, props to the team for actually doing something!
Just beat this boss today and by luck matching with a group of randos which knew what they were doing. something to note is if you have the drifter unlocked and finished the new war just use the drifter gun... so much better than the mote amp...
another thing to note is if you break the ropalolyst's shields on the main platform you can ride him to the coils.
i didn´t knew you play warframe, i remember the amount of times i did this boss whit the mota amp just for normal wisp like 3 years ago
I'm just getting back into it after a 4 or 5 year break. Soooo much has changed since I last played, but I've really been enjoying Warframe since returning to it! 😁🍻
Ropalolyst would be a breeze if he doesn't keep GRABBING ME OMFG, but great guide nonetheless!
Haha! It really is an infuriating mechanic at times! 😂🍻
My struggle right now is trying to do enough damage to the back shiny bits. Just can't seem to do enough damage. Especially when all it does is wiggle 😆
Haha. They certainly aren't the easiest things to hit! 😂👍
My most hated boss. I wont even do it if it's pone of the Steel Path alerts.
I can definitely understand players not enjoying this fight. 👍👍
I want to add that
1. It's a must to mod your weapons, or at least the primary one for radiation, unless you want to spend an hour there and potentially run out of ammo (if you dont have Nataruk which has infinite ammo)
2. if you have Nataruk, then you also have the Sirocco Amp, so use that instead of the Mote amp.
ps.
Forgot to add that the Madurai focus school can increase the damage of your amp, so if you don't have a good one then that will help, the same goes for the umbra fight and sentients in general.
3. for the third and final stage his whole body takes damage, it is possible to use melee attacks on its legs and run back to the console after 1-2 swings, if you can afford to die once or twice it might be worth the risk, but its best to bring a more tanky warframe to survive the grab, personally I was using Wisp prime modded for armor and health and I could melee the whole stage 3 by jumping around and hitting, but of course put radiation on your weapon to deal more damage.
4. If you think your setup doesn't go well, its best to abandon the mission, for example if you're running out of ammo or you barely deal damage, if you die early once or twice, this is a 3 stage fight and if you're using a mote amp and no radiation on your weapons it can take an hour, and there is a chance that the mission will give you a countdown and fail if you take an hour.
5. last but not least, its ok if you fall from the cables a thousand times, I tested it.
Haha! I've taken my fair share of dives off of the cables as well! 😂 I really appreciate you taking the time to share some of your tips and insights on the Ropalolist fight though! It's always nice seeing helpful and well though out comments! 😁🍻
Second dream speak is sacrilage
Whats your progress iron worker?
Im MR 13 nearly half way through getting all the frames.
I'm currently MR 15, and I have 22 Unique frames...so just about half as well. I'm working on Whisper in the Walls right now so I can get onto the Steel Path next! How have things been going for you in Destiny 2? Are you starting to focus more of your time in Warframe, or are you trying to find a balance between both games? 👍🍻
i keep running out of ammo i use the soma
i beat it with harrow
Nice!! I actually have Harrow cooking in the foundry right now! 👍🍻
