Boardgame recommendations: Carcassonne, Codenames, Dixit, Cabo (but it's a numbers game, so maybe when the kids are older) and we also love to play poker, of course with fake money from a different game.
Dixit is so great! It can also be a fun art project to draw/paint new cards for the game once you’ve played with the same ones for a while 🥰
One of our favorites is Catan (a bit expensive but it goes on sale frequently!) is sooo fun! Our entire (minus my 1 year old brother) family ages 4-19 & my parents plays it and loves it!
Ok i just saw that she has it!😂 so good though!
We would play poker with colored goldfish and each color was a different “chip” amount and when my brother was little we would laugh at him because he would keep “eating” his money😂

Love your videos! Just an FYI with the Tripp trapp high chair, you can slide the footrest up so William’s feet can rest. It helps with core control for solid foods. 😊

Don’t break the ice and Elefun are both great!!! Simple, easy, entertaining, not crazy competitive, it requires setup but even younger kids can accomplish that easily themselves.

This is exactly the motivation i needed. It's my 2nd year in my house, and my goodness does the stuff pile up quickly! I've been feeling long overdue for a good decluttering session

We found the board game Carcassonne in my in-laws garage and have loved playing it! Even just my husband and I playing it together is super fun and very replayable!
We love the kids game “Cootie”, a bug-building game, at our house! It’s great for kids because it’s picture based-you don’t have to know how to read to enjoy it! My son is the same age as Theo, and he loves it.
I can't wait for you to keep going on the house renovation. If you're still following what you said you wanted, your house will have more storage and will me more bright and minimal. I can't wait ❤️
Idk what yall did different with the editing and music with this video but it was a gooder. I was laughing or grooving the whole time. Oh ALSO my husband and I love carcassone, not really for kiddos but its a 30/45 minute game for the two of us. Also monopoly deal is a good one thats quick as well:)

Board game recommendations: spirit island & terra mystica (these are complex, kinda like catan, but very fun) Azul, Hanabi, Sushi Go, & Quacks of Quedlinberg are our favorites to play with friends.

A simple one that my 4yr old and 3yr old love to play (my 2yr old is always on my team) is Don't Wake Daddy. It teaches them colors, to count and number recognition. And we all love it!
Also for a more adult game, Pandemic is awesome! It's cooperation based but really really fun

Since you own the "Settlers of Catan" games you could look for other German board games as well. There are loads of and Settlers of Catan is quite typical for them!

We love board games too! The expansions to Catan are fun (we have "Cities and Knights" and "Seafarers"). Bohnanza is a fun and quick one (you plant and sell different kinds of beans). You have some games I have not heard of and have already put them on a wish list of games to buy! Love your videos. Thanks for sharing the decluttering.

I love monopoly deal, rummikub, dominos, canasta, what do you meme, exploding kittens, and scrabble.
My friends own a board game store here in the PNW! Highly highly recommend Cascadia, Cat Lady and Parks. I'd say Cascadia is my favorite..My husband and I LOVE playing board games.
Favorite board games:
1. Ticket to Ride and Ticket to Ride Jr. Recommend the large format version or getting an expansion, the original game has tiny cards and it's weird, the expansions and large format version have standard size cards.
2. Happy Pigs
3. Carcassonne
Catan is BY FAAAR my favourite board game. Sorry I couldn't give you a suggestion for another one! But it's just my favourite. Once a month my husband and I get together with friends and have a catan night. I've never won, but I love it!

It’s hard to find now, but I LOVE Othello! It’s a strategy game, kind of a cross between chess and checkers. My Mom and I played it all the time when I was little, super fun!
Our favourite game (pre-Covid) was pandemic. Super super fun! Maybe a little to real now 😂 but I highly recommend.
Organizing corner cabinets are the WORST. I literally just stopped using mine in my apartment because it just made it hard for us to see anything. I'm glad to say where we are moving doesn't have one

My favourite board game is Dixit, it's a lovely game, very easy to play but requires creativity, good understanding between the participants, it's all around great fun but not at all difficult, even for kids. And I love the artistic value as well. I hope you try it!

I love outfoxed, and sleeping queens. They are great kids games for when I babysit. Outfoxed is more of a younger kids game and is easier to understand, while sleeping queens is still easy to figure out but is more for ages 8+ (from my personal experience) also I love your videos!!

My family’s fave board game is Masterpiece! All about trying to outbid other players at an art auction to get the most expensive collection… without going broke or buying a forgery! Great game!

If you’re a board gamer, Everdell is for you. It’s such a great two player game (or more) and not like monopoly or other non strategic games. So much fun!
If you want new games I would look into Reiner Kniazia's games. My personal favourite to play with family is Zero. Also Dixit is a good staple and has a lot of expansions and is fun for adults and kids

There's a game called orchard that we live. My son loves being the raven-you have to get the fruit before he does. It's a tiny set up, very fast. So simple. I found it recently but it's my fave.
