Thanks for the the amzn link. It was impossible to find otherwise. Mine was a European 2006 Honda Accord, which is nearly the same car as the Acura TSX. It wasn't an exact fit for the ballast (I had to open the center hole more and create a new mounting point). But it worked, thanks!
Glad to help man! You know what's funny is they were a direct fit for the oem tsx headlights, but I reinstalled this kit on some euro r replicas and I had the same problems! I wonder of there's a slight difference between the headlight housings 🤔
Much appreciated my guy!! God bless you and the channel you got a sub🤟🔥 me and my pops were figuring these two parts would be the culprit! And shoot you made it work again, I gotta do this to mine asap!!!!
Great video. Working on my daughter’s friend’s 05. She had a problem with the headlights before and her mechanic fixed them somehow. I believe she got new bulbs too. The thing is, the clip for the igniter wasn’t on either of them? It was just hanging there. She’s bringing the car back tomorrow and, I will put those clips on and see what happens. However, if it doesn’t work, other than a fuse, what else should I be looking at other than the ballast and igniter? Is there anything else in the system that can cause both headlights to stop working simultaneously? Again, great video and thank you
Thanks so much for checking out the video! I haven't had both lights go out on me simultaneously in the past, but I did find this bit of info you might find helpful: If both headlights aren't working, it's unlikely that a bulb is at fault. The likely cause is a fuse, headlight relay, headlight switch, dimmer switch or a wiring fault. Let me know how it goes man, these HIDs can really be a pain at times 😭
Yes sir! Sometimes they don't turn on on the first turn tho, but if I turn the headlights off and back on they come on eventually 😂😂 Thanks for checking out the video & for the comment man!
@@ntns_media that sounds like what happened go mine, sometimes turned on sometimes didn't. Turned out to be just the igniter and after inspecting the old one, the contacts were dirty and the plastic was melted. Hope that helps.
@@ntns_media I bought a NEW ballast that didn't work and a igniter have used the old ballast and it only work for 3 weeks then it stopped working some kind of stumped thinking about just converting it to LEDs
@@ericslimp2726 damn dude, that really sucks. If I remember correctly, it's a pretty easy splice to get LEDS to work. Some aftermarket housings have the LED strip and require it anyways. I think I'm gonna go with the type r style black housings and keep running the stock lights in em, seeing as i've had a lot of luck with this kit. Best of luck!! 😁
this content deserves so much more recognition for the effort that goes into it
Thanks so much!! Some day 😁🔥
