For those who experience involuntary movements during meditation, don't be afraid. This is a good thing in which the the qui is trying to heal or fix your body or blockage. For example, if you feel pain in the back, then the qui will make you rock back and forth around your back. Try to meditate by standing, you will experience more involuntary movements. Let the movement do its healing until it stops, and you will feel very well. After that, you can mediate by sitting down. Also, always exercise before you mediate. You are blessed.
@@TheBourbonStreet Hi Sarah. Qui basically is energy. Everything in this universe is made up of qui or energy. However, the qui that I mentioned here is the healing energy within the human body. Have you ever used your hand to rub your wound to ease the pain? If so, you have used your qui to heal or ease the pain. Have you ever seen a mother rub or blow on her child’s wound to ease her child’s pain? If so, you have seen the mother using her qui to heal or ease the pain of her child. In order to use qui for healing purposes, a person must place her thought of compassion and love into the subject that she wants to heal. (By the way, compassion is the combination of empathy and intelligence-i.e., compassion = empathy + intelligence.) Meditation is a way to improve qui because during meditation, a person will absorb the energy from the universe. Why? During meditation, the body and mind are relaxed and use less energy. This is when the body begin to absorb energy from the universe. (Note that if your consciousness exists, you can feel the energy flow all over your body during meditation.) Physical exercise, especially yoga and tai-chi, also helps to improve qui. However, the qui gained from physical exercise is very limited when it is used to heal others. Why? During exercise, the body cannot absorb energy from the universe. During exercise, the body only releases energy. Thus, it needs food, water, oxygen, etc. to generate new energy. Oxygen is the purest among all, so people often think breathing technique and oxygen are related to qui. Of course, breathing technique and oxygen help to generate a great deal of good energy that benefits one’s own health, but such energy is very limited to heal others-compared with the energy gathered during meditation.
@@Aryan_IITD Hi Motive2Legend. I am not sure I understand your question. However, if your head moves around during meditation, it could be that the energy wants to fix your neck. If the energy pushes your head forward to touch the ground, it could be that your brain needs some blood to flow in. Let your energy flow where it wants to flow-i.e., let your body move if it wants to move. For example, if the energy pushes you to lie down, then lie down. Don’t force your body to sit in the lotus posture.
Hey man,i have similar case, but in my meditations only my hands and head are moving. I mean my hands doing some thing like making signs, and head is moving sometimes up,sometimes down. Is that good?

So I guess it was my conciousnes on the way to a Astral travel because I was kicked out and saw my body from behind! So it was an outter body experience but so uncontrollable that I had no fuckin' clue what is going on right now - months after this experience I realized what happened 🤯 I get a feeling of scramp while mediating in my lower chakras and my hands and they starting to cramp together so intense in a way which makes me panic..
I am tapping my chest, whole body, center of the forehead all the way back to top of the head and then back of the head since 4-5 day. I am literally beating my chest with both hands with open palm which makes loud sound, however no pain, I am also humming, and crying.. the whole process is a blissful and neutral process. I like to observe it. But any idea why I am doing that what process I am going through?
I experienced the swaying and rocking both during and after meditation, I was worried that it stayed after meditation, I was on little sleep that day. is that normal reaction?
Yes, no problem. the effects can last for some time after the meditation depending on how deep we went into the bhava state. it will always have a healing effect on our cells, brains, hearts, etc.... however you may feel a little sleepy or out of it for some time. take the time to integrate, breathe, journal. It's always good to have a smooth transition ritual coming out of meditation.

Is there any risk that the movements and head shakes can be so extreme that they become akin to trauma you'd pick up in a rugby or American football game?
Me too first time meditating yesterday and the morning was fine but at night time i was meditating and my hands started to move by themselves and started to do different types of signs and it would feel uncomfortable if my hands didnt do them
@@trapallusion8936 for me my whole body starts rocking and swaying. but i figured out it has to be the subconscious, because if i "tell it" to start going in a different direction it will do exactly what i say immediately, without me controlling it with my body at all. there were four different motions it had me doing, and i was able to have it cycle through all of them. then i told it to do a new motion, with no concept of what that motion would be, and it actually did a new one. i then figured out i could command it to do more useful things, like enter different states of mind or to help me feel different chakras being activated. it seems like it's actually very useful. maybe identify the different hand signs it has you doing, and practice commanding it to do each one. hope that helps. im a beginner too, and i see nothing on youtube saying any of the things i found out about it.
Yeah it was weird for me because my hands were randomely actually forming the signs and it would stay like that for like a minute then it would change into another sign, could have been a pass life thing were i knew what i was doing or it could have been something else..
@@trapallusion8936 ok, so when it has you do one sign, command it to do another one that you remember. don't do anything to assist it, and don't do anything to stop it - just command it and see if it listens. im 99.99% sure it's just the subconscious, and if we can command that, we pretty much have unlimited control over our minds.
I have a question, maybe someone can explain what I experienced in mediation today… I did a two hour mediation this morning and it was extremely blissful, I experienced many things but one thing happened that I’m not familiar with… At about an hour and a half into mediation, I brought my attention to the abdomen area and when I did, my stomach involuntary sucked itself in but that’s not all… As it sucked itself in, I could feel the energy that was in my stomach rise up, (kind of like hot air would) into my chest and even into my shoulders and upper arms. I meditate all the time and I have experienced a variety of diverse things but what I’m describing here is a first for me. Can anyone tell me what this might have been? Thanks!
Sounds like you have some blockages but the more you.mediate it should go away. I have been having the same issues, I concentrate on my heart and then it goes away.
yes very good! sounds like some spontaneous healing - uddiyana kriya - one of the three major bandhas (or energetic pumps/locks). sometimes it gets triggered automatically and will propel the prana up through your spine (shushumna) and start to release blockages. it is a good sign, nothing to worry and it will all play out in it's own time.

For thousands of years people have meditated, without any of these movements, maybe a swoon from breath suspension, which are just slight movements from the base of the spine, making the upper body do small circles inside, normally without body moving, or with very slight movement, And then in the sixties, seventies, a couple of Gurus came along and started touching there students, and were looking for a reaction, which the student obliged, and started all these crazy movements, which some got quite sexual, with most being in a Ashram and retaining there sexual energy, and unfortunately it has been continued, with proceeding Gurus,, and now we have a Fad, with everyone believing that these movements are part of a spiritual awakening,, or Kundalini awakening, when it couldn't be, further from the truth, this is not real, it was started by someone who thought they had the power to get that kind of reaction, because everyone was worshiping them, they were deluding themselves, and so were there followers, because these reactions never were, and still aren't anything to do with a Kundalini awakening. And my advice is I wound T encourage them, aim to a totally rock still body posture. Even the Swoons described at the begginings only happen in the begginings, when your breaking your breath in,. Obviously if your encouraging yourself to move because you believe this is what happens when Kundalini arouses, then in all probability you will get movement, but in all probability it won't be kundalini, because that needs total stillness to arouse. And total concentration, and whilst you are moving around, your not in a very good position to meditate with concentration. All in all these movements are not real, brought about from sex starved Gurus, who were looking for some form of sex, without being able to have the real thing.
How to train you nervous system to handle it though?I heard it can be dangerous for nervous system that its struggling to hold that strong energy 🤷🏻♀️ I get it all the time

Don’t force your body to sit in the lotus posture.
thank you for the explanation
Thank you
Hey man,i have similar case, but in my meditations only my hands and head are moving. I mean my hands doing some thing like making signs, and head is moving sometimes up,sometimes down. Is that good?
I have that too, my hands and now my right leg do this. During meditation I often see many symbols and geometric shapes and I feel like this is my body channeling information perhaps
It's good symbol, serch for yogic mudras

If anyone reads this, I would greatly appreciate your help.
I have been surrendering into deeper states during longer meditation. I have experienced a short seizure-like state where my body goes rigid and my breath stops. This holds for a short period of time and then releases. I feel very light and well after and continue with my meditation practice. Sometimes I can have multiple episodes in one hour long meditation (usually at the end of the hour).
Do you have any knowledge of this? Thank
I see the movements too as indicative of being on the right path😁
Thank you for the explanation 🥰
It even do it when I’m not meditating I can just be sitting there in silence and my head will start doing it
I feel my head is dissolving pulling upwards during meditation sometimes I experience it during other times also and its so relaxing .I explain it like the molecules evaporating .kindly explain whats this experience .
I move like a pendulum? Is it normal? It happens without I want, just praying and so. Thank you.
Thank you! I thought something was wrong with me!
I meditated with crystals the energy is so strong even tho I don't apply any strength to my arms, hands, fingers it pinch the crystals it's like sucking my fingers into the crystals leaving a deep mark to my fingers.
my hands are aotumaticaly raised up and form a ball , hand movements , making circles like Dr strange . I havent understood it fully yet
I only can tell that I was experiencing the exact same thing when I smoked Salvia Divinorum! My body was going left and right and my hands started to move in circles.
After that I was going left and right with my whole body but my body didn't move this time my friend who was sitting next to me explained. So I guess it was my conciousnes on the way to a Astral travel because I was kicked out and saw my body from behind! So it was an outter body experience but so uncontrollable that I had no fuckin' clue what is going on right now - months after this experience I realized what happened 🤯
I get a feeling of scramp while mediating in my lower chakras and my hands and they starting to cramp together so intense in a way which makes me panic..
same 😂i’m so glad someone else experiences this
I am tapping my chest, whole body, center of the forehead all the way back to top of the head and then back of the head since 4-5 day.
Whenever it happens I feel great afterwards, however the next few days I'll feel super anxious
Any advice for this? Thankyou
My head always tilts to the left when I meditate deeply, slow but very strongly, it can get very uncomfortable, it started about 3 years ago, when I started to meditate. Someone said that it can maybe my crown chakra, that the chakras are actually not in a straight row, but that the crown chakra is actually a bit more to the left? Anyone knows?
Same thing happens to me all the time n I just make sure that my head is in front side n everytime I found my head during meditation slightly tilted towards left don't know why ......but it happens
I have heard that the energy could be flowing to a past injury you may have had, and the energy is working thru that area and blockage
My eyes also vibrating i cannot sleep what should i do??
Stretching your penis widthwise helps
I feel like my head is making circular and oscillating . Until I saw this video I literally thought my body is moving.
I always feel tickle in backbone why snd how to stop it
I been shaking every single time I close my eyes this happens I shake uncontrollably is this what kundalini awakening is? Because I don’t have to wait long for it to happen it’s pretty much instantly but it’s been going on for months.
Yes this is the initial process be gentle with it allow yourself don't resist anything let it happen ❤
Hi this has been happening to me for about 40 minutes to an hour both times. Can anyone help me understand what this means? one of my spiritual teachers told me its because my energy is scattered and that its just the energy playing with me, yet another said its my divine feminine coming through and to trust and let it process. I am confused any opinion is needed. Thank you
What is the end point ? Vigorous shaking is happening to me in the region below my navel since the last 2 months or so, daily. Not very happy about it.
Is like you are talking right exactly about Kundalini 😊
What does it mean if you see flashing lights in your eyes during meditation.
When I meditate once I begin to collect myself and feel my conscious self the energy comes, today I looked up to my third eye and felt a RUSH coming and then all of a sudden massive surges causing me to tense, I was scared a bit but let it happen and didn’t interfere
I lay sometimes to meditate. What about hands raising off bed and fingers moving up and down at same time?
I let go last night during meditation and all sudden it seemed like I couldn’t breathe like my face was getting tight and brain and I counted down form 30 and the second count down when I got to 19 that’s when my face and brain got tight I couldn’t breathe so I opened my eyes because I felt like I was about to pass out. Can u give me some advice.
I was doing deep inhale and exahle 40 breath per round each round followed by 2 minute inhale Retention, as soon as i complete my third round and retain breath after 15 or so seconds i felt voilent shaking in my body as guruji demonstrated then i fell to the side and went unconscious for few seconds when i felt conscious i found myself lying on side where i was seated and shaking violently
What does it mean? Please answers
Is there any risk that the movements and head shakes can be so extreme that they become akin to trauma you'd pick up in a rugby or American football game?
My eyes shake during meditation ..is it okay ?
this has been happening to me almost immediately after starting to meditate. i'm still not even good at meditating, so it's very confusing
I will try to command it but it really be doin its own thang🤣
Just repent of your sins and ask Jesus to take the demonic oppression away
Guys during meditation my body is moving is that good or bad I am a beginner please tell me
I have a question, maybe someone can explain what I experienced in mediation today…
I did a two hour mediation this morning and it was extremely blissful, I experienced many things but one thing happened that I’m not familiar with…
At about an hour and a half into mediation, I brought my attention to the abdomen area and when I did, my stomach involuntary sucked itself in but that’s not all… As it sucked itself in, I could feel the energy that was in my stomach rise up, (kind of like hot air would) into my chest and even into my shoulders and upper arms.
@@hariharalayayogaandmeditation
I appreciate your insight! Thank You!
@@hariharalayayogaandmeditation I experience the same with Ayahuasca! I really need the treatment for my healing but since I'm experiencing this energy in my stomach while my hands are cramping together I just stopped my treatment because I was afraid of this energy and many people in the internet have so many different opinions.. can you help me? Should I go on with my treatment? Thank you ❤️
thx.
Why do things fall apart while meditating ? I m experiencing this
John 8:44
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
Isaiah55:6&7,"Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts.Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon."
Repent, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior today. This is God's invitation for redemption, Jesus loves you so much and he is the only WAY to eternity.God bless you
My neck twitches like crazy sometimes when I meditate. It literally won’t stop. It’s so annoying
Point of break off with all connected persons.
This happened with me today, I was with my bf smoking weed and suddenly I see my soul travelling into a canal and then I feel some higher power that’s when my bf said My whole body started shaking and I was very light in weight
For thousands of years people have meditated, without any of these movements, maybe a swoon from breath suspension, which are just slight movements from the base of the spine, making the upper body do small circles inside, normally without body moving, or with very slight movement,
And then in the sixties, seventies, a couple of Gurus came along and started touching there students, and were looking for a reaction, which the student obliged, and started all these crazy movements, which some got quite sexual, with most being in a Ashram and retaining there sexual energy, and unfortunately it has been continued, with proceeding Gurus,, and now we have a Fad, with everyone believing that these movements are part of a spiritual awakening,, or Kundalini awakening, when it couldn't be, further from the truth, this is not real, it was started by someone who thought they had the power to get that kind of reaction, because everyone was worshiping them, they were deluding themselves, and so were there followers, because these reactions never were, and still aren't anything to do with a Kundalini awakening.
All in all these movements are not real, brought about from sex starved Gurus, who were looking for some form of sex, without being able to have the real thing.
why do I fall backwards while meditating
We suggest you to get some supporting with pillows to sit on and find your center. Good luck and all the best with your practices.
It's energy ....stop doing that ....be capable to handle it first by sidhi
I got tend to fall back while dooing meditation and should i control it or let it be
How to train you nervous system to handle it though?I heard it can be dangerous for nervous system that its struggling to hold that strong energy 🤷🏻♀️ I get it all the time
Something crawling in middle of head while meditating. What does that mean?
It's probably a small lizard.
Please explain what you think about that Goenka vipassana meditation teacher says to stop body shaking in meditation. Here is video ua-cam.com/video/-gojc4A51lI/v-deo.html
well now i know it aint just me. i lay down in bed when I meditate/nap , an the involuntary movements are real, i think in part it is as people have explained I also think it is in part due to the heart beat getting slow and the body going, hey dont die! I usually get muscle spasms in my legs, i have at times had my arms flop up,, none of it has ever really bothered me, sometimes i find it funny other times annoying in that it woke me up
I was smiling deeply while feeling my desires and breathing and my lip started to shake 😂is that normal ?
No, that's probably a remnant of a vaccine injury you recently sustained.
I just bit a hole in my tongue involuntarily 😬.
Yep now I'm more scared about mediation as I was before 🤷😣
@@raphaeldinus2056 no need to be scared lol. You won’t move voluntarily until you get into really deep meditation. And I was meditating everyday to get to that point a while ago
Thank you for this I thought I was meditating wrong when this happened
Amma itself a biggest fraud...how can i trust this guy 😂😂
Bro are you faking an Indian accent? LOL!
Fake information in Buddhas name.
Those are demons fooling you.. god forbids this practice
Thats what im saying
I doubt it. I was a christian (a good one) for almost all my life, but it only brought me suffering and pain... thanks to meditation I broke tons of bad patterns and when these happens, usually, i fill a bliss that pale in comparison to the one that I felt during prayer, feeling more grounded, happier and vibrant afterwards.
I think you are too focused on what our religion gots to offer, but I might tell you that Christ travelled (most surelly, to India) before coming back to teach us in his thirties... and also, most of the message we got was manipulated by the romans.
Maybe it is the church who is in league with demons and such. Have you ever considered that possibility?
He is Reptilio...
During my first and only time trying to meditate, I began to hear knocking and banging noises all Around me in my room. I was alone physically, but what was happening??? Good or bad? I wasn’t sure, it freaked me out. Someone please advise if possible, thank you. I have been scared to meditate again
