The title undersells the interview. It covers a lot of ground - "identifying as an artist" vs "working as an artist", learning and creative process and how the surface of drawing pin-ups and guns and cars connects to fundamentals.
Im still watching the vid (30 mins in) yup kinda agree with this one. Maybe Kristian will update it
Agreed. This interview really opens the mind in taking an unconventional approach as a self taught artist and routes to find lucrative commercial work.
But it was the reason you clicked the video... lol. Seems like a great title and doing what it's supposed to
@@abxgajebrvst I was going to skip it until this comment popped up while scrolling and I was interested. For me the title was yes, end of story.
@@abxgajebrvsttbh, titles on youtube are just for interest function. I'm already expecting the title to not be whats in the video entirely. Blame the algorithm not the player tbh
WOW Thank you so Much Kristian, I had a blast doing this interview! I thought I was talking a bunch of gibberish but you editing is magic XD. I hope this content help upcoming or already professional artist succeed! Thanks so much!!!! ⭐
Thanks again dude!
Glad to see this interview, Reiq! To use the cliche line, I've been a fan of your work for a number of years now.
Having obscene cash to move different countries is the only reason you succeded. There are outstanding artists that don't get any recognition purely because of where they live. Yours and everyone else's success came from connections and opportunities other people gave you. It has nothing to do with skill it's pure luck
@@jubbamerickson3993 Well it is both, I moved out of Venezuela with not much money and I had to struggle for years to get the ball rolling, but I wont deny that connections plays a big role, however you can reach a lot of people online with the right strategy. not only posting randomly and waiting for someone to discover you.
A lot of NSFW artists are masters of anatomy; spending all day drawing lewds.. This helps them build upon their basics and understandings of the human form, more than your average artist that didn't need to speed thousands of hours on the intricacies needed for complicated anatomy.
I'm not saying NSFW art is less but to say that NSFW artists are "masters of anatomy" is such bs. I'm a concept artist and animator and I'm friends with several NSFW artists. I've tried to have anatomical discussions with them on several occasions but Non of them know any anatomical names nor many muscles / bones / landmarks. They just draw by feeling it out without knowing what muscles are underneath...
@@someuser4166 I too am completely unknowledgeable on the actual theory behind anatomy, just that anatomy exists and is a thing that I have to be good at
I like how the people who will say that NSFW art isn't art are exactly the type that've never created anything with their two hands in their entire lives. And the "serious" artists that scoff at the notion of it being art-art are the ivory-tower types that enjoy looking down upon the common rabble.. The former can't understand the simple, mechanical enjoyment of creating a drawing/painting, bringing an idea into the physical world and the sheer delight in learning/developing techniques with which to do this (food for your brain), while the latter believe to be better than their peers, desperately trying to satisfy their own ego.
This is basically like having the argument with people weather or not fiction is real literature and if you're wasting your time reading it or not (especially fiction that's not based in the real world/uses real world events as the setting, etc). Any rational person will understand that it is in fact literature and its value is in no way, less than "serious" literature.
Nice to hear Reiq's thoughts.
Perfectly said man. This exactly.
That's entirely opinion. It's not fact at all.
if anyone studied art for any lenght of time, the old masters, often have their own era's NSFW :-D
Exactly!
Art has always been very broad. Very, very broad. The eurocentric big-wig types are so rigid.
But in fact a lot of classical and well studied art have depicted some of the worst of humanity, objectified it, shown brutality, etc.
Art is everything we create.
nsfw is corrupting. i think one should always seek not for superficial pleasures but for the ones deep in your heart, explore yourself and express it. it's very easy to slip on the nsfw road, because it's very pleasing and addictive and everyone loves it. there's a big difference between nsfw and nudity, and arguments you're providing are not justifying first, only second. i think artist always learns and always should strive for improvement, i'm not only talking about technique wise, but emotionally and meaningfully.
Yes. Nsfw art is real art.
Bad art is real art, disgusting art is real art, disturbing art is real art, art we don't understand is real art, etc. Art is art, we can't put arbitrary distinctions on it just because some people don't like it or don't understand it.
Are people literally questioning this?
This sort of reminds me to the constant question "Are video-games art?" A question which I cannot really understand why its even a thing as if it wasn't because of artists none of the video-games we know and care about would even be a thing. Art and coding, hand to hand, bring us a variety of interactive art worlds.
it's a common thought process since most people, even dedicated artists, can be under the impression art has to have the prerequisite of being good and tasteful which they often do not see in pornographic illustrations.
Well here’s how I would describe peoples mindset:
Art is GOOD. If it’s something BAD,it’s not art to them.
All kinds of art exists, whether it be political, sexual, badass, edgy or wholesome, people don’t have to like anyways.
Facts you might as well as say marvel or any super hero movie isn't art if you know you know
@@Jerry_quesoso Video games art question is less "can they be aesthetically beautiful like traditional art" and more about approach to video games as a medium. Too many in pursuit of creating "artful" game neglect everything what makes video game medium good in favor of just visuals or sounds or narrative.
Of course it's art. It takes skills, creativity and years of drawing to achieve a look, a style that makes your art recognize by so many. Also having met Reiq, he's a real cool guy both as an artist and as a human being, very humble and awesome to talk too.
Reiq is one of the first artists i followed online I myself draw suggestive art but usually on accident, but hes a great person too
show your art.
define accident
@@mosshivenetwork117 Influenced by my uncle and didn't really notice how it looked until someone i knew pointed it out
Reiq at this point has been around for so long. Dude got me interested in pin up art almost like 10 something years back. Gotta love this guy for his work 😀
Man´s a legend. Literally discovered him on Locomotion TV channel here in South America. Then to that precious forum era internet. Older hood fellas already knew him. Amazing career and mostly hard to achieve unique style. Basado el Reynaldo.
in response to your question in the title: yes it's real art, the only people who disagree are those who've never had a meaningful physical connection with someone. I draw both sfw and nsfw and nsfw is way harder because you must be much more mindful of anatomy and intimate expression without it feeling trashy
Not only that but these are the same ppl who ironically never seen real men or women.
love Reiq's work, he has been my inspiration for art for the past 4 years
Really looking forward to watching this! Not gonna lie, I often feel that I'm not a real artist because it's NSFW material, so getting the input from one of the greats in Reiq should be interesting
This is a really welldone interview, and I love how candid reiq was. As somewhat of an intermediate artist with a modest commission income, almost everything he's said rings true to some extent, and provided really good insight. I hope you both thrive in your fields!
Reiq's tutorials tought me how to draw when i was in a slump and were eager to improve back in highschool. Good feature.
I remember this dude from DA decades ago when he was stating out. I love that he has finally "made it". LEGEND.
What I have learned is that art and creativity flourish when you have nothing to loose when making it.
I have noticed this with a specific youtube who makes animations, all of the original videos where funny, and awesome, for a while they kept getting higher quality with the growth of his channel. however, he is quite successful, and I can see it in his new animations, he is scared of loosing some numbers.
I've known of Reiq's work for over 11 years. What he's saying here is true wisdom!
This dude is pretty based. I like that he's not romantic about art, it's not about feeding a fantasy of what an artist is. At the same time there's real love for it there.
It's interesting to listen to Reiq. I feel so identified with how he has learned to express himself. I am also Latino and relate to many of his reasons. Seeing that he succeeded and forged his own path gives me an extra push to keep going.
I have really liked the way Reiq has evolved as an Artist. Also I really like his Sketch book videos.
aw HELL YEAH. love reiq, his art tip videos have helped me a TON.
and i love his art!
I love your art is surreal how good you are. Hearing your story makes me realize why. Keep up the good stuff with your OC´s
Dude! I've know REIQ's work far a long time and he's amazing. I think he's great and hope he continues to do so for a long time, Thank you for this highlight of a great artist.
the title shouldn't even be a question xD.
NSFW art has been a thing for more than 2000 years in every society ever
Any one who can create such beautiful art with only one hand is a master already.
Finally, a proper “Reiq” interview
a lot of the things said hit close to home.
especially the part about going back to old pieces, still liking them but knowing/seeing the issues now cause you grew as an artist and can see things more clearly now.
coming back to an old piece and retouching/redrawing it feels amazing every time it happens.
btw..the title made me click on it but that would also have happened it it just said that you are talking with Reiq.
It undersells the quality of this interview a bit.
as a self taught artist, sometimes dipping into the professional world there are many points that Reiq talks about that resonate/mirror my own experiences.
so relatable.
To answer the question: yes it is art. Obviously it is art.
Then AI art is also obviously an art.
@@popkb This is so out of nowhere that it's hilarious. Was there an argument you were having with someone else? LMAO
@@popkb Yes AI is art, although it doesn't bring the same value a piece made by a human would have
@@megamillion5852 it's not out of nowhere. Nsfw "artists" do the same exact thing ai does, but somehow ai is to blame more just bcs it's not human. Bruh.
Don't be a jealous hypocrite, judge with objectivity.
@@popkb "AI Art" is a term that shouldn't exist, in art the most important thing is the intention, what are you saying with your art. Experienced artists pull this off with a variety of factors such as storytelling, body language, facial expressions, shapes, colors, composition and so on.
The machine alone fails at this and the result is just a generic, sometimes pretty image.
I’ve been a fan of his for years. Great interview.
Art is art no matter what its depicting
I've followed Reiq for years and years, kind of weird to see the person behind the art after so long. Very interesting interview.
Reiq has been a great inspiration for me to learn and improve art. Thanks for this great interview.
NSFW art cannot ever be considered art more than on it's implied medium. You like it because you have a physical stimuli to it, you cannot ever not like it unless it is unappealing to you.
You cannot ever be objective about it. It is the lowest of the lowest common denominators. It's shallow. It's on the same scale as liking food.
You like hot women? Everyone does. It is literally ingrained in our DNA.
You can put mammaries on a stickman and people will like it and give you money. Might as well just put square on a canvas and call it art.
43:39 this is so true, and I actually like learning new skills just to have them in my arsenal.
Edit: Reiq was holding a pen this entire time.
if you dont feel like watching because of the TITLE, dont worry they dont even asnwer the question, yes the title is shit but Reiq talks alot of good stuff in here.
Your goblin girl pfp is cute, do you have full image?
that Storm just made me chuckle with that thumb
One of my favorite artists
The hardest thing about being an artist for myself is making time to not do art. Art was my main income for 2 years but it was all I thought about. I stopped enjoying it even if it was things I loved creating. My social life was just clients wanting art. My time off from work was just watching and learning tutorials to get better at art, how to build a better business, building following.
Reiq is the greatest pin-up artist ever!
Oof, forget about Adam Hughes, Terry Dudson, David Nakayama, ArtGerm, Elias Chatzoudis... RockinJellyBeans (a favorite of Reiqs)
@ Naw, Reiq is the guy.
@@blackjam2683 Wait... Elias Chatzoudis...him too. Also the greatest!
Man 51:28 just shows you the facts in the right way. It puts you to think about your process
this is great, thanks kristian and reiq
I don't draw NSFW but I consume a lot of artists who do, when you abandon your prejudices and try to look beyond the obscene in the work, you can see all the complexity and technique that many artists put into illustrating bodies, but to be honest I still have a hard time seeing art in its full context, a simple illustration of a sex scene for example doesn't convey anything to me, so I see it more from a technical point of view.
Super nice interview! Thank you!
I haven't watched the full video yet, but I could definitely say for certain. Yes, it is because there are art depicting nudity and other sexual desires that most of us probably don't even know about that came from the past. It's just evolved from that and become more easily accessible.
NSFW art is truly art. Not kidding, I have learned a lot about anatomy just seeing it.
By definition art is supposed to convey an image taken from the artists mental perspective give ten different artists the same task but be vague and you will see the differences in thought, its deeply symbolic of the individual. as an example ^blue period^
With how many things are considered art, as the definition is so broad that even things made by a machine is considered art, it’s ridiculous that people are still having this discussion of whether or not “NSFW is real art”
i watched this whole episode without paying attention that this was Reiq lol. his chunli work is my fav.
something that many people don't understand is that we nsfw artist, don't just do it cause of the money, is just a plus, most of us do it cause its fun as hell, we are horny people and that is the true, and we can express our hornyness in a safe, fun and cool way, some people may judge us, but i think we are happier and more free than anyone that judge us
I think the main problem of this podcast is that you let your guest ramble, if you see that he's going off topic try to interject and steer him towards the right direction. There are multiple points in which the point that the guest was making is lost in the rambling and the value of his point is lost to the void.
The podcast and the guest would have value if it wasn't so misstructured. Plus you should plug not only yourself at the video beginning but the guest as well. One more thing, where are the intros? I know who Reiq is but what about people that don't who is he what is his background how did he get to a place that he is now. Outline the main talking points of what the listener should expect from this podcast and then start talking. Also why is your guest holding a pencil the whole talk ? Your camera is out of focus and your image is blurred. The back lighting makes your faces look dark, you need to close the blinds and mute the light from behind and light from the front or turn towards the windows so natural light is front facing. Also why do I have to google what your guest work looks like? Show his work on screen while giving him an introduction. Also try not to use so many filler words and let there be silence for a moment to collect your thoughts, "like" or "you know" fills air time but in an hour it becomes noticeable.
There are soooo many things you can improve.
anything which is being done intentionally is art. It doesnt need to original, it doesnt need to be created all by yourself nor it needs to be hard.
By definition art is just an expression of human creativity, the NSFW label is just that, a label, made by people who feel uncomfortable with certain aspects of aesthetics, human anatomy or eroticism. My answer is yes, it can be art, but it does not imply whether it is good or bad art, that depends on the talent of the artist and/or the subjective view of the consumer.
I dont seen the video, but I remember sometime I read: "Erotism is art; pornography is trash".
And do not want to excuse yourself with philosophical questions like "what is eroticism for you?", "for someone it may be, and for another it may not be." Those are just excuses. You know when a work really has quality.
this is a lie, pornography can also be art, but most of it is cheap content, i have read porn fancomics and hentai doujins that are FAR superior to their original source, recontextualize the characters and the themes of the original show or media, i have felt complete sorrow of some adult stories, as well as overwhelming happiness when the characters overcome certain problems that get in between the story.
Sex is also a way to represent the profound level of passion between to characters, more than just a simple kiss and a fade to black, i want to see their love expressed and their bodies fuse in the fire they feel inside of them, and for the post sex scene give me that scene where they hold hands and feel so happy together, and to see it happen gives me so much happiness.
If that isn't art, i have no idea what it is.
NSFW IS art because it is the appreciation of form. Artists who practice NSFW are masters of understanding and creation of form. Any pleasure derived is only accompanying.
As an… admittedly slow and mid-low quality artist myself… Mostly NSFW, but I want to get my character’s story out, not for money, but for completion. I havent started. I work full time, and NSFW helps supplement my income, not enough to survive by itself. but I’d probably have been on the streets a long time ago and not have met many friends without it. Working for someone else pushes personal stuff to the sides at time, but sometimes it helps you to eat tomorrow or to even grow as an artist. NSFW Art is Art. AI art is not art.
I have never considered NSFW as art, in the same way as soft-porn, but I have great respect for the artists who make it. Art is a difficult discipline, and there is no school, in my opinion, to say what is good art and bad art. Art is a personal question to which no consensus can give an objective opinion of what art can truly be.
I have been immersed in art for a very long time, learning about everything and especially trying to understand artistic movements, etc. I also draw but I do not publish my works because I do not feel the use of it at the moment. From my point of view, art should lead us to evolve, to grow, to make us understand something that would have escaped us in our life. The artist/author should make us aware of the world around us, to change our minds on certain subjects to learn more about a theme, to questions, etc. Fiction is what allows, through an interposed character, to understand a person's situation without even being in real life, as long as the author makes a real effort to depict a particular life situation of a character.
Similarly for artists (painters, digital...) who must make us transmit strong emotions, interesting thoughts on subjects that may be taboo, or known but with a different perspective. And this, through any artistic style: whether realistic or stylized. Realism is not the pinnacle that every artist should reach, unless it is really their goal. Making something beautiful is a noble goal, but I think that beauty must still be brought with an idea in mind to transmit to the spectators.
So, when I come across NSFW images, I simply tell myself that it's pretty, it's pleasing to the eye, and unfortunately that's all I have to say because there's really nothing to say other than that. The thing is, you know directly the intentions of the author in this kind of image and it's certainly not to make you think, but to appeal to your lowest instincts. There's nothing to be gained from this kind of image except to feast your eyes. And I mean even if it's a taboo subject, it doesn't really try to liberate the subject, it even does the complete opposite: it devalues it way too much because the artists who do this, don't try to make it acceptable to everyone. It's not for nothing, moreover, that AI is full of images of this kind, with the soft-porn that swarms social networks, because the only goal of NSFW is to sell. It's about making easy money because you exploit sex, and sex and soft-porn sell.
So I can't consider NSFW as art as I see and hear it. I even find that it devalues artists by considering them as big perverts, who only make art to express their dirtiest and most disgusting fantasies that they have in mind. When you see that some people really work their ass off to try to bring something to this world through painting and drawing, that maybe this person doesn't live from his passion that he respects because he wouldn't want to do NSFW but to live without the regrets of having done that one day, but that on the other side, the guy who does NSFW earns more than he can imagine, it's still hard to take (I want to clarify that I'm not part of this case because, personally, I don't care). That's why I consider it easy money, because the artist doesn't have to think concretely about moving the world with his audacity, his singularity. The artist will simply take any character (usually characters well known to the collective imagination), put him in a suggestive or explicit position, exaggerate the human body to accentuate the pin-up side, or even go to the extreme for some, and that's it... What can we get from that? What is there to see? To understand? To try to decipher? Nothing.
I repeat once again! For those who have read it wrong: I respect the artists who do this! I respect the difficulty of drawing, but I don't consider it art. For me, art is not just a question of beauty, it's a whole. NSFW does not correspond to my tastes. If Reiq can make a living from what he does, I'm happy for him. He can make a living from his passion and that's good.
Define "art" first.
IMO if it brings an emotion to the person perceiving it and it was intentionally created with that purpose, then it doesn't matter how you call it, it counts.
So humor, terror, NSFW and ASMR totally count.
Museums are full of NSFW art
theres a difference between naked people and NSFW art. one is just the body in its natural form while the other is purposely sexualised
@mppi "La maja desnuda", "La Venus di Urbino" "Venus & Adonis" "Rokeby Venus" are explicitly sexualized depictions
alright, so when does "natural form" ends and "purposely sexualised" starts.
is "La maja desnuda" natural form or sexualized for being the first to include public hair?
What about various Leda and the Swan in different stages of getting it on? which one is "natural" and which one is "sexualized"?
what about L'Origine du monde that's just a painting of a coochie but is in the body's natural form?
@StevenZephyc la maja is sexualized because the paint was ordered as a sexual memento of the woman by her lover. It's literally a nsfw fanart (Goya was in love with her) of an influencer 🤣
@@mppiare you just gonna completely ignore that periods like the renaissance period of ancient Japan is filled with displays of porn with several people or even animals?? Erotica is a thing dude
If it invoke feelings it's art
If Art is subjective and I subject myself to the "finer" arts such as yours, then your art is in fact real art.
insane question, since when has being controversial stopped anything from being art
‘Saturn devouring his son’ is upsetting, but it’s still art. Art is defined by the artist, and interpretation is left up to the audience.
can someone hook me up with the sauce for the thumbnail
Human Anatomy - enough said. One of THE HARDEST skills to master and these people do it so consistently and so accurately that it actually arouses other human beings. We know it is not real but some of the skill is so good that our bodies and brains override that and suspend belief because it is so well done if even for a brief moment. Do not tell me it is not real art when it can bypass physiology and our own understanding of the human experience. You are right it is not art, it is a super-human ability to be that skilled.
Seen so many videos on NSFW art being a great foundation especially financially.
Oh shit the GOAT REIQ!!!
the only reason that I don't do nsfw is:
1) I don't want it to be confused with my normal art and get in some sort of drama
2) I don't want to be considered a creep
3) It is a reminder of my loneliness
4) I fear it would strip me of my dignity
Parts 1,2,4 are not your own thoughts, they come from outside source, society being toxic. These values originate from within our history, church had a massive control over humanity and it's sexuality, specially in America it is still very present. It is not "creepy" and it is not "disgusting" or "wrong", society deems this for some reason or another. It is a perversion of it's own how copulation which is very natural thing is deemed to be such "indecent", we have been brainwashed to think this way. But i understand, pressure from society affects even myself and it shouldn't but it does. We live in sick society, at least now homosexuality is deemed less bad than in the past. Fiction should be humanitys ultimatum, the only place where everyone is equal to do and create as they please, it should not care about your religion, skin tones or gender or any identity. But humans cannot let people be, they have a massive urge to have control over everything like little tyrant Hitlers of their own little world. Vast majority of these puritans do not even know their actions originate from life long brainwashing from our society itself.
i haven’t even seen this yet but ofc no one draws anatomy better
Great stuff!!
Not a _professional artist_ , though i was thinking about NSFW as a type of so called art, because technically, it takes some skill to draw a human body in perspective with correct proportions, not to mention that we technically can classified some crafts of renaissance as NSFW.
However, i've seen enough artist who were trying to draw pin ups or hentai images and usually i had to tell them what to correct or pay more attention in future(because, unfortunately i know the price of becoming *AN ACTUAL ARTIST* , and i simply didn't want them to do the same mistakes over and over again), not to mention the amount of positive feedback or money they were receiving, so it made me question if is it valid to call they artwork as art?
Especially in comparison to some artists who were making magnificent pictures with thousands of details and different techniques, and most of them stay are still stay unnoticed. Of course there are exceptions like Marc Brunt, Proko and others, who were making tutorials through out their whole carrier on UA-cam, but the thing is these people are uploading videos for decade as minimum and were working hard, whilst it's really easy for NSFW artist to find an audience.
Regarding me, i usually draw for myself, although i don't do this much recently due to tight schedule on my job and in my life, and when i have a moment, i'm usually drawing buildings, cars, streets, people, costumes and of course i draw nude figures for practice. And each time my friends are asking me, why with my skills i still haven't became an NSFW artist i'm usually answering, that i'm simply not interested, but also i understand the hidden aspect of such content.
I have a acquaintance, who was making artworks for money, he was drawing portraits at first and from time to time Pin - Ups. He was quit skillful and honestly gave me some really good advices about anatomy, but after a while he started to make an NSFW content. At first he wasn't posting much, but after a few months his whole group was filled with such content. As i've sked why, he gave me an obvious response - it's lucrative. I wasn't blaming him, but i was just worried if he will ever draw something for exception, but no, he's not even making speedpaint videos anymore due to certain restrictions on UA-cam. But i also have another person, who makes NSFW artworks because of how fun it can be some times, not to mention the quality of artworks itself.
Also, i remember how while i was stalking across my home town, while was working as a courier during Covid - 19 pandemic (Kojima was so genius back than). On my way to drop point, i've met an old man who was painting a church. After i've delivered the cargo, i've decided to make a lunch break and watch after man drawing. After a few seconds i've asked him some questions. It appeared that his was retired and decided to try to start drawing. I also asked him if he was an artist, though i knew the answer from just looking at the picture, but he friendly responded with this: "I'm not really an artist, however does it really meter if you are artist or not, if you actually enjoy the process", i had nothing to say and once i've finished my lunch, i've moved forward.
While i was writing this comment, i was thinking on what kind of conclusion i'd like to bring on and came to one. Art itself is a very controversial thing, which can be defined only by individual, according to personal preferences. But out of all kind of content NSFW because usually this kind of content exists only to induce someone's mind with dopamine, it's really rare for someone to get inspired by it, but most important this kind of art is poisonous to new artists who have lack of knowledge and experience and therefore most people aren't appreciating it as art.
if you've read till the end of this comment, i'd like to wish you all the best. also i'd like to wish you a happy new 2025.
Depends on the job someone has.
Some of the greatest artists used to draw nudes, no shame. I feel like pretty much any art can be classy and elegant, if done well. It's all a matter of what the artists wants to make it. And frankly, even the lower brow stuff still has a place in the world, even if its not for everyone's tastes. Great discussions, by the way. Thanks for the video!
You might as well agree Martian Scorcase that Marvel movies aren't art. Just because you dont like what art is being portrayed doesnt mean that it isnt art.
don't even need to watch. unless its AI then yes nsfw art is real art.
Honestly Reiqs passion and self guiding star is why I love his work so much!
a whole hour on this simple question, it was drawn by an artist so therefore its art, i saved you 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 54 seconds
No no no, NSFW is not JUST real art, this is THE ART. I do not appriciate many modern artists and definitly not any old age artists, but when character is naked, you cannot dress them in fancy clothes to sell a design, you dress them in shape language and it shows more of artists skill and preferences, than anything else
Anyone remember Jiggly Girls?
Isn't some of the most collectible stuff from the 1950's and 1960's like that? The paintings that would be used for pulp-fiction book covers or used for illustrations in Playboy fall into that risque and pin-up category. I'm pretty sure it's considered art by most.
Yes and one that's higher in demand...
Not safe for Wolverine?
Of course (NSFW = Not Safe For Work) art is artwork, some of the most famous artist such as Masamune Shirow, Satoshi Urushihara, Milo Manara the Italian artist had adult artwork, Toshiki Yui's artwork... I knew of ReiQ's artwork through Jiggly Girls!
Whoah REIQ!!!
I need to see that T-Shirt.
It is. You still need skill to do it. Of course, you can just attach two circles to a stickman and say it's NSFW, but this isn't that. You need to learn how to draw for real before trying to draw anything NSFW.
god damn storms a queen
Bro just draw what you love, people are too worried about what others will thinks and that makes art feel less organic.
short answer: FKNG YES
loved jigglygirls from back in the day
are people genuinely questioning that nsfw is real art?
as long as it isn't generated by a machine, i would say so
YES!
Yes it is, next question
I’m glad I don’t have a career in art. I sculpt and paint because I love doing it. It has allowed me artistic freedom with whatever I want to create. Plus if I sculpt all day at work how do I relax after work? I’d have to find a new hobby lol.
art is art
