We make egg dish by dropping whole eggs like this, but into a curry of moong beans and potato. Now I see that we can combine eggs with the tomato gravy. Definitely this is on my menu for next week. Lovely recipe and great background music too. The only thing I would do different is add some salt on top of the eggs once they are cracked into the kadai. And I would cook the eggs for only 5 mins. 10 mins seems to have overcooked the eggs and made the yolks hard.

I am sure I am not the only one. I woke up to switch off the TV, noticed this and wondered sleepy-eyed why someone would cook a Labrador with an egg. Had to read again to do so correctly. For all we know, I could've also misread "Anda Lababdar" as "Andha (blind) Labrador"
This is not egg lababdar. This is a plain and simple egg curry. In egg lababdar, the egg is grated put in the gravy. Lababdar recipes have "chunks" in them. that's the whole idea. This is a perfect egg lababdar ua-cam.com/video/i57u_z4KRB8/v-deo.html

You can use almonds or roasted channa dal but just grind it seperately grind the tomatoes and roasted channa dal seperately
