    The guy is sanding a door with a $8,000 Panerai watch. I definitely need to get into the decoration business too! :) Jokes aside Thanks for the video & sharing your techniques.

    Can I use the black and decker mouse to sand a door? Thank you

      Hi, as long as you use the correct grit of sandpaper, this shouldn't be a problem. Remember to work with the grain of the wood. I hope this helps! 😄

    Many thanks I just spent the last two days filling and sanding my dresser. Do I need a primer. I just want to use the sugar soap to clean the wood.

    Iv been doing up my room repainting and the door and skirting takes ages to sand down but if u r sanding down your wall to repaint it that gives so much dust u will need a mask

    It's all great, but please, remember to make sure, that the dust mask is tightly secured to your nose, by pushing and bending the metal string on the sides of your nose.

    Once all this prep is done, can you then gloss straight onto the sanded surface? Or have you gotta prime then gloss?

      I’m pretty sure the paint won’t last long before it starts to crack and peal of, and the finish will not look as smooth and glossy. So my answer would definitely be a no. Regards from the Danish painter 🇩🇰

      Should I pick a faint yellow or grey blue finish for this room? Answer: a light colour would be great so, no 😂

    He doesn't say what grades of sandpaper he's using, only 'medium' and 'finer'. 80? 120? 240??

    • @makemarker
      @makemarker 4 роки тому +5

      I use mainly 180 with good condition doors, otherwise with older (messed up ones) 80, 100, 120 untill it's enough to progress on the finer one.
