Nothing like a rainy day walk 💕
Beautiful sounds of rain! Thank you.
Loved the deer...try to stay dry and don't get sick. nice hike...thank you
I love hiking in the rain! Just my raincoat, no umbrella. It would be hard to use my hiking poles and an umbrella. It smell so wonderful to walk in the woods on a rainy day.
Thanks for the hike Cliff, I can't remember when you had us out in the rain last. The deer were cool.
Great job
So cool fawns nursing, I love wildlife 😉💕
I never knew Chester County was so rural with horse farms and deer a plenty. I always think of Philly when someone mentions it. Your video really made my eyes pop open, lol
The rain sounded nice, and wow, great shot of the feeding fawns. Awesome video as always!
Very peaceful hike
Cliff , Chester Co has many horse farms , I can remember back in the 50s seeing Fox Hunters going across country. Some of the Olympic riders come from Chester Co, Sadly I see almost everyday on my bus route one deer that was hit and killed by a vehicle. A lot more deer are road killed than by hunters. The average deer lives @ 2 1/2 years
Fun fall walk and that Doe zeroed in on you right away.
Loving the horseshoe trail. Thanks for sharing. It's like we are hiking with you.!
Always fun exploring new places!!!👍
Good video Cliff...thanks for taking us along. Just a reminder...make sure when you are walking on roads that you walk on the side facing oncoming traffic and not on the side where vehicles are coming up behind you. Cheers.
Yes! Nice reminder. More and more dopes are walking on the wrong side of the road these days AND looking down at their phones. Very very unsafe and selfish.
I love rainy walks if I have a wool hat on and waterproof hiking boots on my feet. Thanks for the hike!
That's really cool you have video of two fawns nursing. I never saw that before. I've seen other young animals nursing, but not deer. I found this brief information online: Does nurse their fawns about 4 times a day as newborns and will continue nursing for about 4 months.
At about 2 weeks of age, a fawn will start browsing tender vegetation and learn from its mother what plants to eat.
Thanks for that hike. It was a neat trail. I'm glad you took us in the drizzle on the wet day. It makes us realize that yes, you really don't melt when it rains on you and that rainy days do not have to be spent indoors. 🌲👍❣️
Chester County is definitely horse country. The Bolton Center down there is an equine medical facility that is part of University of Pennsylvania (don't quote me on that)?
I like the rainy walks.Cool.Brings out the soft colors of the land. Thanks Cliff 🌟
Thanks for taking me on your hike. For your safety, please consider walking on the left side of the road (facing traffic). All the best.
Wow that was fantastic. Love walking in the rain but no umbrella don’t mind getting wet. Those deer were gorgeous. Thanks for taking me along. Please stay safe and take care
Thank you for this hike. Very nice section. Great views of the deer. It is surprising that there are so many.
Momma was definitely not impressed with the way she stamped that foot at you haha. And I can't help but mention ol Pacman at the beginning 😆😆
SOME PEOPLE FEEL THE RAIN , some people just get wet !
That was profound, I'm going to remember that.
Unless you have a umbrella
Seemed kind of nice walking in the rain. All the deer very cool. Stay well and be safe.
Nice hike Cliff! Thanks for taking us along!
How cool !!! That MOM LOOKED Straight at you in a heart beat
13:00 Angry mom deer.
The deer are irritated this time of year because they know it's hunting season.
Lol - wow - everyone remembers a mom look like that!
Happy Weekend 😊👍
It looked like momma dear stomped her leg at you too.
They were nursing. Young White tails, Well done Cliff
Some time cliff I would like to mail you some beef jerky my problem is I don't no how to mail it to your address. I'm from the Thumb of Michigan in Huron County area.
Right under the video, it says "Read More" if you click on that, you will find Cliff's mailing address.

Ha… my dog does not like hiking in the rain. As soon as it starts to rain, he stops dead in his tracks, looks up at me, then turns around and starts heading back to the car!
Yeah, they’re gonna nurse till mom tells ‘em to go with grandma and their cousins born this year. Then while grandma teaches them to function on their own, mom will be finding the best date to father fawns for next year. That alert look - radars forward and a stomp = that’s an alarm to the others that she’s spotted you, and they should put more distance between ya’all. Light-glint off your camera lens - bet it looks like a rifle-scope from her end.
What is the purpose of this trail?
Recreation...
@@ReptilianLepton Road walks are not as nice a being in the woods nor very safe.
Why not wear rain gear just curious
Can't speak for Cliff but for myself rain gear makes me feel clammy and uncomfortable, an umbrella usually works for me just fine.😀 I would have a pair of waterproof boots on for that walk in the grass.😀
Rain gear keeps me dry but not my camera, an umbrella does both.
I guess it depends on how hard it is falling and how long. Not all people fear the rain.
@@porkturtle8321 I don't fear the rain, I fear ruining a $900 camera...
